My driving lesson experience was amazing! I had an instructor called woody who was very patient and calm , he was able to help me with all the stuff I was worried about and cheered me up when I felt I was doing badly, was very supportive and made the car a fun and pressure free place to be . He has a good way of teaching which makes you push yourself while also being able to have a laugh with him.
When it came to booking my test Ellison’s booked it for me and looked out for cancellations on my behalf.

Today I passed first try and I don’t think I would have had the confidence of skill to have done so without his help.

After trying different driving schools I found my place with Kate and she is absolutely amazing, throughout the whole process she was the most understanding, kind and most importantly funny person I've ever met. I walk away with a pass and no faults today because of her, she is truly everything I ever could of asked for and more. Thankyou Kate :)

Kate was incredibly friendly gave me so much support leading up to the test with exceptional teaching skills that helped me improve on the road. I would give more stars on the review if I could and I highly recommend learning to drive with Kate she is always happy and helpful to anyone but also funny to lighten the mood of the lesson

I contacted Ellisons after not driving for a year, having felt discouraged by a previous test failure. Due to my work commitments, I was unable to attend lessons at fixed times. The team was very accommodating and assigned me the best instructor I could ever hope for.

Gary is an outstanding driving instructor. His emphasis is on developing safe, competent drivers rather than simply preparing students to pass their test. He delivers feedback with patience and kindness. I will miss our conversations about “healthy” Toblerones and the chocolate factory. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone learning to drive. To anyone considering a driving instructor should choose Gary with confidence!

I had Woody as my instructor and I couldn't of asked for anyone better. From having no driving experience to passing first time, his work ethic was what really drove me and helped me progress throughout every session.

Each session had a clear goal/objective and the steps I needed to take beforehand were explained very well and clear from the start. From 1 to 1s before and after sessions, demonstrations, and tips given when driving. It made the atmosphere less tense within which enabled me to be more focused and a give the best outcomes.

Thanks to Woody I passed my test today, without him I dont believe I wouldve got to the stage im at now. If anyone is looking for an instructor, I couldn't recommend him more!

I have been learning with Ellisons for a few months, my driving instructor was Kate Yard. She was very professional throughout my lessons and taught me all the knowledge that I needed. Kate made me feel very relaxed throughout my lessons. Although Kate kept her professionalism she also made each lesson fun which meant I felt more comfortable and learnt even better. I would recommend Ellisons to anyone I know

I first started driving lessons in 2019 and really struggled with it, then swapping instructors to Ellisons this last year, I have been able to overcome my struggles and pass my test first time. I could not fault my instructor Wayne for anything! He was amazing, understanding and patient with my anxiety and gave me so much belief and confidence in myself.

I recently had the pleasure of taking driving lessons at Ellison’s Driving School, and I can’t recommend them highly enough!! Especially my instructor, Wayne. From the moment I signed up, the organization was seamless. The staff at Ellison’s made scheduling lessons straightforward and accommodated my limited availability without any hassle. Wayne is truly an exceptional driving instructor. His calm demeanor and patient approach made learning to drive not just easy, but enjoyable. He took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I felt comfortable behind the wheel. I was super anxious going into lessons and he made a stressful experience into a breeze he has the great ability to tailor each lesson to my needs and focused on areas where I needed improvement while also reinforcing my strengths. I’ve been learning to drive with Woody and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. From the very beginning, he created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, which made a huge difference for me as an anxious driver.

He always explained things very clearly so nothing ever felt overwhelming. Even when I made mistakes, he was always patient and reassuring, which made the whole experience something I actually looked forward to.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Gary at Ellisons Driving School. From the very beginning he was calm, patient, and incredibly supportive, which made such a difference to my confidence behind the wheel.

He explains everything clearly and never makes you feel rushed or judged, even when you make mistakes. Thanks to him, I went from feeling really nervous about driving to passing my test and actually enjoying it!

He always kept lessons relaxed and even helped me handle unexpected situations, including a deer running out in front of us at one point, which definitely kept things interesting! 🤣

I passed my test today 3rd time as my anxieties got the better of me.
Wayne bryne has been so supportive and patient. Believed in me when i didnt.
I cant thank him amd ellison enough. Ellison booked my test when i struggled to get dates so brillant driving scool they really are. I couldnt recomend any outher automatic instructer more than wayne

i passed my test today with andy, andy is amazing at ensuring you feel comfortable for test by pushing you to be your best while listening to your concerns and helping you through them, i enjoyed my driving lessons and wouldn’t have been able to do it without andy being so confident in me:)

been driving with paul hughes since november and passed today, each lesson every week i learnt something new, such a knowledgeable bloke and a top top mate, highly recommend paul.

The driving instructor i got was great made everything easy to understand and was highly skilled.
Booking the test through them was easy.
Over all great experiance and a great teacher

Paul was an excellent instructor who was always very patient if I ever made a mistake and explained everything clearly. My instructor Paul was brilliant and really helped me progress quickly with my driving with anything I was unsure of being gone over to ensure I became more confident. He was very calm no matter the situation and made sure he could provide as many lessons as possible to fit when I was free.
