Learning to drive was way more challenging than I expected, especially at first. I'm so grateful I had Stephan Bailey as my instructor! He was unbelievably patient and went above and beyond, making sure I was confident driving in all kinds of conditions, not just enough to pass the test. Thanks, Steve, for everything!

Caroline Cox is an incredible driving instructor. She took me on when I was heavily pregnant with my son and showed so much kindness, patience, and understanding—everything you could hope for in an instructor. She even let me bring my baby along when I was stuck for childcare, which meant so much to me.

Caroline’s teaching methods really suited my learning style, and thanks to her guidance and support, I passed my driving test first time with only two minors!

I would highly recommend Ellison’s School of Motoring to anyone looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and effective driving instructor.

An amazing teacher overall had fun ways to get better at certain skills also helped me get over all my anxiety while driving and made me a more confident driver and person and had fun while learning and my favourite part of learning was the games we’d play to get me to spot road signs better and rewarded by getting a milkshake at McDonalds.

I started my driving journey from level zero. I am so thankful to have done it with steve . He has been calm and patient with me throughout. He always gave me the right advice and guidance which boosted my confidence. I give 100% credit to him for supporting me in this huge learning curve. Couldn’t have asked for more . Steve Patterson is an incredible instructor, his words of encouragement and wisdom on how to help me achieve a first time pass which I did can’t go without me appreciating him.
I started my lessons with Steve as someone who has never drove a car, to someone who passed my test on first attempt( which was my set goal).
Even when I made mistakes he helped me improve by reflecting on what would have made my driving better.

Well my dreams came true on the 30th of April, after having so much time off from driving a manual feeling I couldn’t get to grips with driving I came across Jason, at first I was nervous as the size of his car made me feel anxious but as soon as I got in the car driving I felt at ease. The little comments he makes about driving tips makes things stuck in your head easier so you remember them better. I would 1000% recommend Jason to anybody who is looking to learn how to drive as he made me feel at ease all the time and got me to my pass, my dream. So thank you, 1000% recommend.

My dreams came true today and it’s all thanks to Kate Yarde! I spent 12 years doubting myself, having no confidence, starting and stopping lessons, trying different instructors and everything I could think of to build my confidence, not having a license was holding me back and I just had no hope of ever actually getting there! Then I started with Kate, her empathetic nature, relaxed but humerus approach and the perfect balance between praise and critique, was everything I needed and now I finally have the freedom I’ve been waiting for! Thank you so much Kate🤩

I have recently passed my Driving test with no minors and I have to give this massive THANKS to Andy. He had been very patient and taught me very well on what to do in every situation. Even when I had a terrible test route which I have never been on or that Andy even knew about I was still able to pass with no minors.

When I first started my driving lessons, I had no clue how to drive and then I met probably the most coolest and understanding driving instructor (Simon Collett) he made me feel super comfortable super relaxed and his method is teaching us 2nd to none. I honestly couldn’t ask for about a driving instructor. Believe when I say if there’s anyone out there who’s looking to start driving, please contact this man. He will get you where you need to be.

My instructor (Simon Collett) was an absolute legend! Really nice guy and easy to get along with from the second you meet him! Crystal clear and thorough instructions at all times and even if you don’t get what is being explained he finds a way to make it work for you! Just passed first time and could not be happier to have passed and that I got such a good instructor! Thank you so much!!
