After what has been a very stress enduring year, the idea of going to a new garage to have work done on my car just added to that stress. But from the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I felt nothing but calm and happy at Europit Tyres Colchester branch. This was entirely down to the friendly, welcoming, kind and helpful attitudes of two members of staff, namely Graham and Simon. They immediately put me at ease, they did a great job putting four new tyres on my car and even helped sort out my spare tyre whilst I was there. I cannot recommend them highly enough and will never go anywhere else in future!

Needed 4 tyres fitted so ordered online for fitting on a Saturday because it was the only time I was able to get the car there, had hit a pothole a few days before so knew there was something not right because of the noise from the front offside wheel, anyway John checked this out for me and found a broken spring, he rang me with a quote and I told him to go ahead with the work, within 2 hours everything was done,
4 new tyres fully fitted, plus steering alignment done, plus 2 new suspension springs fitted, plus a complete check over of the bearings and track rods for any other damage from hitting the pothole.

Been into the oxford road branch this afternoon with a puncture and I was served by a delightful young lady I think her name was Annmarie. Although euro pit didn’t have the make of tyre I wanted they “loaned” me a tyre all fitted and balanced until they get the make of tyre I want, absolutely above and beyond the run of the mill garage and I can’t recommend Annmarie and europit enough

Contacted a number of garage workshops for quotes to replace my vehicles dual mass flywheel that had failed, clutch assembly and whilst in for repairs replace the cambelt kit, Europit-Tyres provided a competitive quote. They were proactive with messages via Messenger to ensure I understood the process of repairs and what the timescale for the work to be completed. Having myself worked many years in workshop of a very large dealership, found it refreshing to be kept updated by telephone and messenger. Repairs were completed in a timely manner and glad I chose them to carry out the work.

Thieves!!! Paid £170 for a silver service for a mini cooper s. Kept it in for 3 days saying they couldn't get the spark plugs. Eventually got the car where only the oil was changed. On my way back home I felt my steering was wobbling when I applied the brakes. So definitely nothing was checked. Went back to complain and they started to say there might be another reason which would incur a separate charge to look into it. So I took my car into a different garage why should I give them my hard earned money?? So be warned these people are opportunistic.

Had two tyres replaced by these guys, one of them went flat within a week and was damaged beyond repair.

Upon closer inspection it turned out the new tyres had not been sealed and the valves had not been replaced.

Took the car back to the main Europit branch, and the manager had the remaining tyre sealed and the valve replaced "as a matter of course" but didn't inspect the tyres himself to check the crappy job that had been done in the first place, and on this basis refused to offer any sort of refund for the damage that had been caused to the other tyre.

He said he would speak to head office about a partial refund and call me back, but never did. I definitely got the vibe he was used to fobbing off disgruntled customers.

Will never use these guys again, better to just call a mobile repair unit from elsewhere.

Be very careful if you use Europit. I recently took a car there for a very minor problem with the exhaust rattling and the told me I needed to pay £450 to replace two parts of the exhaust. Took it for a second opinion and it turned out to only be a corroded bracket which was fixed for £50.

I am now extremely suspicious especially as I took my previous car in for a broken spring a few months previously and was told it needed £500 worth of repairs. When I said I did not feel it was worth repairing for me and wanted to sell it on, the manager told me I wouldn't get more than scrap value for it, then messaged me privately and offered to buy it for less than scrap value! Luckily I asked a car trader who told me even with the list of repairs Europit Clacton said it supposedly needed it was worth over 4 times what the manager had offered me, which is what I eventually ended up selling it for.

Be very very careful and always get a second opinion if the repairs are unexpected or feel overpriced!

Have had cause to visit europit tyres in Clacton twice in last 8 days and can’t praise them enough extremely helpful, felt looked after and kept informed staff there are wonderful, well done for such amazing service

Called europit tyres at Thorrington first thing this morning and asked if it was possible to have a tyre replaced same day. Was told to come straight down and they would have a look at it for me. Great, fast service and tyre was replaced in less that 20 mins, would definitely reccomend.

Avoid if you are a woman as they will cheat you. Liars.

After a hectic day at work I came out to find my tyre completely flat. I limped the car to a local garage only to find no air pump. A lovely man in a van stopped to help me, happened to be John, the manager of Ford Road Europit tyres. He was an absolute knight in shining armour! He found my space saver tyre, jacked up the car and in a flash changed the tyre. He gave me some great advice and off I went. Just shows that there are genuinely fantastic people out there. Will be visiting at the weekend to buy myself a new tyre! Than you John, you wonderful man x

offered me tea of coffee before i purchased anything.showed me three different tyres at varying prices brilliant.Seemed a very happy team of people and polite.Had the job done in no time at all.would thoroughly recommend this company it deserves to do well thank you.

Great team, great service and fair prices. Have been a customer here for more than 10 years. This week I took in a four wheel trailer. Purchased two complete wheels for £4.00 more than the tyre price. I was served by Sam, top lass. When I collected it today the lads in the workshop had repaired the two old tyres free of charge. You do not get that level of service very often. Thanks to all at the Clacton branch.

So I broke down outside their shop in Colchester. And I must say the guy who helped me was so sweet and jumped in and helped me to get it somewhere safe as I was getting really upset and panicking.
Thank you for your help. Not many people would do that. I wish I could of got the clutch repaired with you guys but £900 was a lot of money. My garage done it for £350.
