I worked as an agent with Everdays under Mark Eaton, and this was one of the worst professional experiences I’ve had.

From the start, the leads were low quality. Many people had no idea why they were being contacted. It became obvious that the advertising being used was misleading—people thought they were calling about government assistance, Medicare, Medicaid, or even “free money.” In reality, they were being sold final expense insurance. That disconnect caused confusion, frustration, and eventually cancellations.

Several agents, including myself, raised concerns about this. We were ignored and told to keep selling.

I was later selected as part of a small group to handle inbound calls from a new vendor. I put in serious work—starting as early as 6 AM PST, staying available late into the evening, and even taking overflow calls when others didn’t answer. I was one of the top producers, averaging 4–5 sales a day at one point, and was someone Mark regularly relied on for input.

None of that mattered.

Because of the misleading ads, clients canceled in large numbers once they realized they weren’t getting what they thought. That led to constant chargebacks. Despite putting in long hours and producing results, I only received a few payments.

On top of that, billing was disorganized and inconsistent. There were ongoing issues with getting paid correctly for the right clients, and it felt like you constantly had to chase down what you were owed. Lisa was often unresponsive when it came to resolving these issues.

Toward the end, communication completely broke down. My inbound calls were cut off without notice, leaving me sitting for hours with no activity and no explanation. No transparency, no respect for my time, and no accountability.

At the end of the day, agents are left to deal with angry, confused clients, while the company continues questionable marketing practices and avoids responsibility.

I felt used, underpaid, and completely unsupported. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think twice before working with Everdays.

Great service

The Meierhoffer Team was very helpful in planning the services for my husband. They made a sorrowful and stressful time run smoothly and strived to honor my husband in the way I wanted him to be remembered.

I can’t say enough about the service we received from the Schoedinger funeral home in Circleville. During our time of need, we were so fortunate that we received Todd Hurley as our funeral director. He was so compassionate and friendly to my sister that had just lost her son. Todd did everything she needed and went over our expectations. It was a large Police funeral and Todd worked directly with the Circleville police department as well as the Pickaway county sheriff’s department. The night before the viewing, I happened to drive by the funeral home, Todd himself was out front with a leaf blower to make sure the home looked beautiful for the public service. Todd and the staff took care of everything and we are so gratefully. Todd actually called my sister the following week just to check in on her. My family was truest impressed and we hope that all your directors are as thoughtful and kind as Todd was during this whole process.

Thank You Keohane's

Our experience with Keohane's was wonderful. Joe was helpful in every step of planning and the day of the wake and funeral. We appreciated being given the poster boards and stickers to display the photos. We were given a bag up one heading to the funeral with all the prayer cards, thank you notes, bookmarks, candle, etc. Our son/brother looked good and was sent off well.
*The only negative is that we had to ask many times to have the requested songs restarted during the wake. For some reason it kept shutting off, which was frustrating.

Wonderful service

I wanted to say thank you to Meierhoffer Funeral Home and their employees after the passing of my father last month. Their caring attitude was very evident as they guided our family through a difficult process. Their attention to detail and professional manner allowed us to focus on dad without any concerns. Thank you again for the amazing care you demonstrated that helped us a great deal.
