A 15-minute wait is frustrating, especially when you can see staff working in the back, and we completely understand why that feels inconsistent. You’re right to raise it. Behind the scenes, every prescription goes through a clinical accuracy and safety check before it reaches you, but we recognise that doesn’t make the wait any less inconvenient, and we should be doing more to keep you informed while you’re waiting.
As a direct result of feedback like yours, we’re actively looking at how we can improve communication at the counter, including letting patients know expected wait times upfront and keeping them updated if things are taking longer than planned. We’re also reviewing our workflow to see where we can make the process smoother and reduce waiting times where possible.

Everest Pharmacy is set to improve!
last week i bought a pill holder with the days of the week on for my husband. after his heart attack he needs a lot of pills. I paid for the pill holder with my apple wallet so i had proof of postage. I took it back this morning for an exchange or refund because my husband decided it’s too big. It was unopened and in the condition i bought it. Imagine my surprise when they refused to exchange or refund because, although i have proof of purchase, i never asked for a paper receipt! furthermore i was quite shocked that the assistant didn’t have the manners to apologise. With several pharmacists in the area I strongly recommend that Everest Queens Road is not your pharmacist of choice.
Having reported this incident on Trustpilot I did receive a very courteous and kind response from their senior staff. glad to know the staff at the branch are receiving further training.

Whilst you did not have a paper receipt, we should have looked at your proof of purchase and handled this with much more care and courtesy.

I had ear suction treatment to clear…
I had ear suction treatment to clear the wax from my ears. The pharmacist was very careful and patient with very stubborn wax in one ear and eventually on my third visit managed to release it. She stayed calm all the time.

I visit regularly at the Everest Pharmacy in Grove village Manchester.
The staff are always welcoming and waiting to help me. They send me a text message when the prescription is ready so I don’t have to wait in a queue. They also look after my eyes and blood pressure. It was the pharmacist in Everest who after sending me home with a pulse monitor and the results showing a drop in my oxygen level, which was dangerously low while sleeping I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. It turned out I had severe sleep apnea. I owe them everything.

Everest Pharmacy on Wilbraham rd…
Everest Pharmacy on Wilbraham rd Chorlton is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever visited
Sadly it’s the closest to my home so I’ve had to stick with them as I struggle to get about.
This pharmacy was terrible a couple of years ago and closed for refurbishment stating it would be better when re-opened.
This has not been the case
When your prescription is sent to them they take 2/3 weeks before contacting you via text message saying its ready - that’s if they bother to text you
But when you get there there’s only ever half the prescription ready you have to go back 2 or 3 times to get everything.
I’ve tried phoning to see if my prescription is ready and ask if its ALL READY FOR COLLECTION
I’m told yes its all sorted but when you get there some items are still missing and on several 0casions they even lost the complete order and I’ve had to wait for 40 mins for them to make it up again
The phone system is also terrible when you call most of the time you are CALLER NO 5 and even if you hang on for 37minutes like ive done you still remain at CALLER No 5
The staff are very rude and very unhelpful no apologies for delay or false info given to me over the phone. These issues have been the same for the past 2 years ever since they reopened and have not got any better in fact they are probably worse then before, If I had any other choice id go elsewhere but sadly due to ill health I need to stick with the closest pharmacy.
I know what you thinking get them to deliver! I tried this and they don’t inform you when they will be delivering. They only deliver some items and they lose track of what as and hasn’t been delivered. Iv had the same items delivered 2 sometimes 3 times in the space of 2 weeks.
very unprofessional and such bad service DO NOT USE IF YOU CAN FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE
