I met Mike yesterday at a christening, he was so lovely and easy to chat to! For someone who very rarely gets in pictures and feels comfortable around a camera he made me feel at ease and totally relaxed!
The pictures are gorgeous, and will definitely be booking for my own events!
Would 100% recommend him for your next event, or photoshoot.

Mike was just awesome. Full of fun and energy to rally everyone up and get the required shots!! It’s was a big birthday party and some great times and memories were captured. All my guests commented on Mike and his energy and passion for what he does, it really helped everyone relax and do the necessary! Now where to start with review the pics!

We met Mike who had found a potential venue for our secret shoot on our wedding day. He had already scoped out different locations and we met him for a photo shoot. He made us feel comfortable and understand how to get the best possible shots and even though we had never met him before felt right at home.

He was showing us how the light affected the images and talked us through the poses are made us feel really comfortable. It was an amazing experience and has got us really ready for our big day now. So exciting x

Every single one of our guests adored Mike, we had so many messages off them the following day telling us how fantastic he is. He has worked tirelessly to edit our photos so quickly and we are just absolutely in love with them. Mike captured everyone so well, there isn’t a single grumpy or bored face in any of the photos!
The dance floor was absolutely packed all night and that’s honestly down to his enthusiasm and comedy and just bringing everyone out of their shell from the very start. I’m not the most comfortable in front of the camera, so Mike took me for a little photo shoot the night before and taught me a few tricks, he got to know my bridesmaids and family, and he helped us feel so much more confident on the day than we could ever imagine.
We’re going to have no wall space in our house left because there are just that many fantastic photos we can’t choose our favourites and just want to display them all!

Mike arrived at the wedding venue early in the morning and quickly became everyones friend during the bridal prep taking the best individual photos of each person making all of us feel special. During the day he took photos of everyone and every aspect in a non intrusive way and blended in with all the guests with a fun and friendly attitude whilst maintaining a professional stance in getting the right shots. Mike actually tutors my daughter in everything English Language and English Literature. He is absolutely hands down the best English teacher that has ever crossed my path and my eldest child is 27. Aside from being a brilliant teacher he also promotes well being and self esteem. He took my daughter on a photoshoot and got some absolutely amazing pictures. I didn't think she would have one photograph taken let alone pose for multiple and enjoy the whole experience. He is a very talented man who is extremely good at teaching and photography. I would recommend him to everyone i know and meet. He is the best!!

Where do I start ..... Mike fitted in from the minute he arrived at the room where a Bride, her Mum, 4 Bridesmaids and 2 flower girls were all having hair and make up done. We were made to feel at ease immediately, to be honest we wern't really aware he was there at all. During the day Mike greeted the guests and took many posed and natural photos. Throughout the ceremony he blended into the background capturing those precious moments that fly by. After the ceremony he worked his way through the planned list of family photos quickly and encouraged a shy little flower girl to have her photos taken. Mike stayed long into the evening taking hundreds of photos and was happy to take requests too. Having seen how hard he worked during the day he could be forgiven taking some time to produce the final photos but he has worked tirelessly for days to make sure the Bride and Groom have everything they need. I would highly recommend Mike Carroll if you are looking for a photographer.

I honestly don't know where to start.. Mike was my teacher at school, didn't see him for 20 years and then he pops up at my friends wedding. The minute i saw his work i knew he was the man to photograph my wedding. So we booked him a year in advance. He checked in, we had meetings, and he was so attentive in the lead up to the day. The day arrived and so did Mike.... He fit in perfectly during bridal prep. Not once did i feel he got in the way. Hes a natural. We were all in stitches together. He works so hard but more importantly he really blends in to your day. Every single guests has complimented me on my choice and have expressed how amazing they thought Mike was. I can not and will not EVER get over how stunning my photos are. He went above and beyond. Even now the week later he is still editing for me, anything I want doing he does. He really goes the extra mile. If you are even slightly considering booking him... DO IT!!!
We will now use him for any event we have. Mike, i will never forget what you have done for me, and how you put up with me and my anxieties. Youll forever be a friend.
