Walking the Amalfi Coast was a fantastic experience! Not for the faint hearted as it’s quite strenuous, even if you’re pretty active. But truly a fabulous holiday. The scenery is stunning and the people we met were great fun too. The staff from Exodus looked after us every step of the way. We didn’t need to worry about anything, we just enjoyed the trip!

The Backroads of Sri Lanka bike tour was a fantastic way to explore the country and experience local culture beyond the usual tourist paths. Cycling through rural villages and scenic backroads offered an authentic glimpse into everyday life, traditions, and the warmth of the people.
The activities were thoughtfully curated and memorable. The safari was a standout highlight—we were incredibly fortunate to see leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and a stunning variety of exotic birds. Visits to the spice garden and cinnamon grove were both fascinating and educational, offering insight into Sri Lanka’s rich agricultural heritage. A particularly special experience was sharing dinner at a local chef’s home, where hospitality and authentic cuisine made for an unforgettable evening.
Our guide, Suresh, truly elevated the entire journey. He went out of his way to anticipate everyone’s needs and ensured that every guest had a meaningful and enjoyable experience. His knowledge, attentiveness, and care made this trip not just a vacation, but a truly memorable adventure.

My Exodus trip to Colombia was an excellent "full on"comprehensive tour of the country. Highly recommended!
Our tour leader, David was very knowledgeable and passionate about his country and made the trip a memorable one. He was very kind and considerate and made everyone feel part of our 'family' group. He is a real asset to both Exodus and his country and obviously enjoys his role as a Tour Leader!

Amazing trip, thanks to our wonderful driver Takis, around ancient Greece visiting a variety of sites and museums with a superb guide Averkios. Good overview and also so beautiful with all the spring flowers and some lovely seaside and mote inland locations. Food was great from local taveras and restaurants, especially for me as I live fish and shellfish. Exodus delivered yet again.

Fabulous tour Walking the Prosecco Hills, a less well known part of Italy but with stunning scenery. We also had day trips to Venice and Treviso and of course wonderful food and lots of Prosecco tasting. A great mix of walking, culture, food and Prosecco

My two week tour of Ancient & Modern Japan took in many highlights for tourists to Southern Japan. It was busy and quite tiring at times with a packed itinerary and a lot of walking. We had a small group of 8 which meant we were able to fit in some ‘optional extras’ which our guide facilitated. Lucky to see Mt Fuji with no cloud cover and the last of the cherry blossom. We went in mid-April and the weather was kind - temperate and very little rain. If you wanted the full wow of cherry blossom you should go earlier as it is pretty much finished by 10th April. We still saw the late blooming trees and maybe had warmer days. Lots of interesting info from our English speaking guide. A great trip and I will go with Exodus again.

Cycling in Albania was amazing! The scenery was magnificent and the goats, all with bells, who frequently crossed the road in front of us will always be remembered. The leader was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and approachable, the hotels usually unique and individual and the food fresh and locally produced.

I had a fantastic week in Amalfi with Exodus. Our guide Veriano was passionate and knowledgeable about the region and we managed to see the places behind the tourist frenzy, even in the most intense tourist spots. The walks were great, every one took in some special places and spectacular views only available on foot. A wonderful trip.

Our guide Mattia led our group with panache and style setting a changing pace to suit our needs. Mattia was attentive and quick to spot who needed a little encouragement or help with a tricky part of the footpaths. All our trips ran smoothly because of the efficient arrangements Mattia made for our transport. He greeted us everyday with a smile and greeting. His instructions were clear and he was happy to share his knowledge of the nature we saw on our walks. Nothing was too much trouble for Mattia. He is the perfect guide with excellent English. We could feel the joy he has in walking in the beautiful Prosecco Hills.

Would say one think that you should read the individual trip notes thoroughly and make sure the trip is right for you, any doubts ring them their staff are all very helpful and knowledgeable

The care and level of individual attention we received from Linh our guide was incredible . From meeting us at the airport to waving us off , our welfare was his concern . The trip was amazing , spending time in hill top villages with local tribespeople gave us so much insight . At times the trekking was literally off the beaten path but Linh was supporting and encouraging to all of us whatever the ability. The trip itself was varied and offered much besides trekking - visiting the hill tribe villages to see traditional crafts , swimming and kayaking off Cat Ba island to name but a few . Highly recommended , made even more special by Linh

Just back from a week in northern Tuscany (Walking in Tuscany), what a great time! The agriturismo is a beautiful spot with a welcoming team and laid back atmosphere. Sara is an exceptional leader who assesses throughout the walks and organized our lives in the background brilliantly. The scenery is stunning and the food is of course delicious. The walks were at the higher end of Moderate but very doable for regular walkers. You can’t go wrong with this trip!

Walking the Amalfi Coast is a superb Exodus trip. The itinerary is really well worked out, offering a great mix of hiking and sightseeing. The hotel that Exodus uses for this one is great - family-owned, friendly, spotlessly clean and with a lovely swimming pool. Our tour leader, Nico, was first rate. Very knowledgeable, great sense of humour and really cared that everyone had something to do on the free day and carefully checked our onward/return home arrangements. Top notch all round!!!

We went on a tour of Portugal in March 2026 starting in Porto and ending in Lisbon - our tour was filled with stops in many beautiful cities and our tour guide Carla Costa was AMAZING!!! Her knowledge, kindness, flexibility and ability to share her love of Portugal made our tour such a great adventure and made us want to come back! I would highly recommend taking an Exodus tour with Carla

Cycling Vietnam- a fantastic adventure from start to finish. Booked initially with Alex but after issues with the Middle East flights, we had excellent, efficient service from Robyn.
Our Vietnam guide Tien was so helpful, enthusiastic and his love of Vietnam was infectious. He kept us informed every step of the holiday and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. Tien and the back up team ran the trip perfectly, provided drinks, fruit and snacks, nothing was too much trouble and they obviously enjoyed being part of our adventure too.
This itinerary gives you a true insight into Vietnam life and culture-cycling through towns, villages, coast roads and rice paddies, stopping at local houses for lunch and seeing major landmarks too.
We had a brilliant group of cyclists and the camaraderie made the trip extra special. Would definitely recommend!
