a robust AV that is super user friendly, a can easily see why its in the top 10 AV on the market. i would say i liked it a bit more than bitdefender and eset.

only downside is that it costs alot and lacks a firewall

I've been using F-secure as a multi device protection. for the best part of 20 years as it has often been part of the service. included by Virgin Media. Throughout that period it seems to have quietly got on and done what it's supposed to do without too much fuss. And when I have had to deal with some processing issues on older kit as it got modified I did receive relatively instant support online,. I haven't had any (touchwood) breaches of security And the basic deal packaged with Virgin Media. Services is extremely competitive. at roughly £25 per year for protection that includes fishing., virus, banking. family surfing, etc. In more recent years, I've uncovered the fact that the much bigger firms in the market s are involved in slightly dodgy measures to down play the effectiveness of F secure by proactive support of positive reviews subsidised by them. So the public need to be very aware of this. and some of the big players. are extremely annoying in their aggressive way of getting their brand out there as soon as you've turned on your new computer for instance.

VPN tjänsten är värdelös. Om man har tur så tar det bara 5 minuter från du har klickat på en länk tills sidan öppnas. Annars visas oftast "Webbplatsen kan inte nås". Det går med andra ord INTE använda internet med VPN på, speciellt på kvällar.

Kære ven, hold dig laaangt væk fra dette bras...ha ha ha noget som F..... har skabt - i vrede :-(

Olen ollut Fsecuren FreedomeVPN palvelun asiakas vuodesta 2021 ja niistä nauttinut tasan ensimmäisen vuoden.

Vuoden 2024, ison versiopäivityksen jälkeen FreedomeVPN on toiminut erittäin huonosti, pätkien, katkoen yhteyttä ja VOIP kommunikointi sovellukset PC:llä ei toimi juuri ollenkaan, slack pätkii minuutin välein, mutta alkaa toimia hienosti kun ottaa FreedomeVPN yhteyden pois käytöstä.

I have an issue with the VPN element of my Total program. Support is abysmal.... They take 3-4 days to respond and when they do is clear they havent read what the issue is. So then provide a 3rd update on the wrong program!!!! still waiting for a response now for 4 days. Program hasnt worked for over two weeks..... Would give no stars if that was possible.

My internet accounts have been hacked.
My accounts have been taken over.
F secure will not speak to me.
They appear to be uncontactable.
What am l suppose to do ?

Support er umulig at få fat i. Ordrenummer umuligt at finde, så man kan sige op. Produktet blokkerer offentlige hjemmesider.

F-secure blockerar andra program. Måste stängas av för att t.ex komma in på Internet. Har haft kontakt med support som skulle åtgärda problemet men lyckades uppenbarligen inte då problemet kvarstår.

Vil gerne ud af mit abbonoment. Det er åbenbart umuligt for der står intet om det via deres hjemmeside og deres support henviser til noget der hedder FLEX men kan ikke give mig adressen til hjemmesiden.

Krijg een aanbieding van Ziggo voor safe online met wachtwoordenkluis ik kreeg echter een probleem dat ik bij een bank niet kon inloggen via de wachtwoorden kluis en ook niet rechtstreeks kon ik ook niet meer toen F secure bellen want bij fsercure staat het telefoonnummer eerder heb ik bij hun al een keer meegemaakt alles geprobeerd kreeg weer een onvriendelijke meneer meneer u moet een betaalde versie nemen maar ik neem aan dat ziggo er voor heeft betaald maar ik raad een ieder aan om geen safe online van fsecure te nemen wat een waardeloos bedrijf je kunt toch even helpen achteraf bleek dat fsecure een bestandje had geplaatst wat je niet kunt wissen wat het probleem was dus weer mijn oude comodo met een wachtwoordenkluis geïnstalleerd en dat werkt perfect
conclusie dat ik nooit een betaalde versie zal nemen na deze ervaring

The total package blocks access to software it shouldn't. First of it is very complicated to find out what software it blocked, you basically have to extract a support file and browse to the text files to find the issue. Support is no help either. I've had the software for a couple of months and had to explain to them how it worked. Then I had to jump through hoops and follow complex instructions just to come to the same conclusion. After one month of useless answers it has now been two weeks I haven't heard back.

The mains screen is constantly littered with useless messages. First telling me my subscription has expired while it hadn't. I had to reinstall the software for that one but support somehow considered this was the way it was supposed to work (not a bug) Then it keeps whining about the password managers and extensions I don't want to install.

The Total Security package is also misleading as it doesn't have a firewall.

If you want the VPN fuction, for se some gepolitical blocker regions? It will NOT work. Have it, but regret that I baught it. And ofc, I do set the correct sever!

I paid for 2years, 5 devices, F-Secure Total. The money was talen from my account but i never recived any product.
According to F-Secure it is the external company that handles the payments that messed up. But I must say that I think that a company like F-Secure must take some responsibility.

Used Bullguard until they sold to Norton which was awful and they want your card details even though you have already paid - shocking auto renew settings to so switched to 'F-secure Total' from ebay for £25 for TEN devlces. Really easy set up and operation now protecting out laptops pads and phones. the security and VPN run seamlessly without effecting speed so have the VPN set to auto run now. The ID security found some shocking breaches of our personal details and passwords which we have addresses immediately - First day of use and its paid for itself already - customer service it good and responsive too - recommended by our local pc repair shop
