famly the app is absolute rubbish

famly the app is absolute rubbish. It doesn't work neither on the phone nor on laptop. Support doesn't exist, robot chat, contact phone is +45, which is another country, (we are in +44) - it's a complete nightmare.
Somebody poured a lot of money to promote this half-baked unprofessional nonsense - I have already wasted about 2 hrs trying to install and login - and no result. Nursery is pushing all parents to use this service instead of reliable and excellent-working website. I'm extremely frustrated that I need to waste my time on this

Hi Ismail, really sorry to hear you’ve had that experience 😔 Just to clarify, we’re Famly, the nursery management software, not the nursery itself. It sounds like a really frustrating situation, but we don’t actually have any control over how individual nurseries are run.
If you wouldn’t mind removing the review, we’d really appreciate it, as it’s not related to Famly or the service we provide 🙂

We were promised help & support setting the software up but were left to do it ourselves. Support takes at least 24 hours to respond and does not give clear solutions. Support staff appear new to the role and learning themselves. Some training video's are out of date. Sales rep vanished after contract was signed. etc etc

I just love the Famly app

I just love the Famly app. It is so easy to communicate with families & I can see if parents have seen messages or not, so often with paper diaries they weren't always looked at & messages could be missed.
The parents love the feedback through out the day & like that they are able to add family members in to see the photos & videos of our day to day activities.

Famly support team are excellent

Have just gone live with Family so obviously questions crop up. Messaging Help - Always receive a prompt response and an answer to my questions. Similarly if I telephone. Have also had Zoom one to one calls for more complicated questions and on every occasion the support team have come up trumps (Not Donald!) 10/10

I contacted the Support team at Family for help with the upgraded package

I contacted the Support team at Family as I had two questions regarding the app. The responses were quick and so helpful. They were able to explain things clearly and in detail which made solving the problem very easy! When one of the questions required more research, the team explained what they were doing and kept me updated along the way. Most definitely the best online help I have received, thank you!

Customer Service ruins it

Customer Service is great if they think they are getting more money out of you. The minute you request support in downgrading or cancelling, absolute silence. This is via the app/website AND via email. It's impossible to source the complaints procedure also, funnily enough.

The software is great. Just don't expect any support with it.

Using the app for a week now and it's very slow. 20mb Videos that take a second or two to upload elsewhere (like Gmail or Hotmail) take an hour through this app, if it doesn't crash before then. The staff at my child's nursery have it and they said they don't like to use it, because of the same reason - keeps on crashing, takes ages to send a message or upload something. So on paper the nursery has a cool app, in reality, neither the staff nor parents can use it.
