Bait and switch tactics, not trust worthy site.

Scam of a company! Will not confirm or book your flight once you “book” it. They will charge you more. The ol bait and switch method.

I booked a ticket via Momondo through them from JED to MED and the price was great. Also, gave me bags option which was cheaper to book with them than with the airlines.

I saw the 4.1 star rating on Trustpilot and thought, "maybe this one is legit." Advertised price was $25 lower than anywhere else online, which was jussssst enough to make me take this risk.

Within 30 minutes of purchasing, I was called on Whatsapp and told that the actual price was 33% higher than what was listed and that it had "just changed." (It had not... I re-purchased the tickets from the airline right afterward for a lower price than they were quoting me).

When I said I wanted to cancel the charge and not go through with the purchase, I was told that I wasn't allowed to and that they had already charged my card (which was a LIE). When I told them this was fraudulent, he asked me to hold so that he could "talk to his supervisor" (as an aside, he never put me on hold, he just kept breathing into the phone). Thirty seconds later, I could magically cancel my reservation since they had never charged my card.

At least it all happened quickly. The whole operation seems like it's one dude in India repeatedly pulling a bait and switch on customers. Stay away.

Scam! Took a couple days to get my confirmation, they probably would have taken longer if I didn't keep asking for it after seeing some of their reviews.

Now a few days before my flight for Christmas holiday, they tell me the airline cancelled my flight, and that they refunded me, but when I checked my statement, they charged me again!

Never again! Don't use them. Go directly through the airline or trustworthy named site!

Was told:
"Your booking is under process, confirmation email and e ticket should be received within the next 12 hours."
When no confirmation was forthcoming, I called to be informed that the airline could not confirm and the new fare would be increased well over 50% the price of the original. Seems like "BAIT & SWITCH"

They advertise a price, and then call you on the phone to tell you it's no longer available and you have to pay more. I have no idea how this is legal.

- Baiting people with fares that are not available- Taking 24 hours only to be informed that the ticket is not confirmed- Pressuring customers to accept a 48% price increase to be issued any ticket at all from the previously purchased price- Saying you emailed the customer because he did not respond to a call - no call was ever received- Customer has to call back internationally only to be told to stay on hold for 15 minutes listening to waiting music- Upon confirming the passenger details, wrong name and phone number in the system- Assuring to sort it out, then sending another email with 0 progress from the issue that was already discussed over the phone- Then no more response to any of my last 3 emails, inquiring if the ticket has been confirmed!
Your customer service is simply - THE WORST.

Ticket was never issued!

BEWARE! I just got trapped an hour ago. Be aware that the 1-star reviews here are correct and right on-spot, and the good ones are as fake as the tickets they pretend to sell. They practice bait-and-switch transactions; my tickets had a 56% increase from the original price once they contacted me (they do not answer the phone number they provide). In the meantime, they have collected personal information, including children's names and birth dates.

I am sharing more detali because TrustPilot threaten to remove my review of BubbleFare if I do not. So below, I am sharing a letter I sent to Momondo.com where Farebubble advertises prices that are not real/available:

Thank you, Esther, for responding. I have been using Momondo for the past few years, and my experience has been flawless. However, Momondo recently started advertising prices from questionable companies.

I am convinced that I didn’t experience an unplanned price increase yesterday. To demonstrate that FareBubble engages in bait-and-switch strategies (which is illegal in the US), Momondo staff can look at any flights published by FareBubble on Momondo.com from San Francisco to Barcelona, in the first two weeks of August 2023, make a note of the price, then go to www-FareBubble-com and observe that those flights are not available or are available at a much higher cost. As for the phone number, please try to call +1 888 669 0207; you may get fortunate if anyone pick-up the phone, which is very uncomfortable after you provide your credit card number and other personal information.

Finally, sharing unredacted emails with FareBubble is difficult because they contain information about my children. If you want to improve Momondo experience, I can find a way of redacting them and sending them to you.

What a scam. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. There's no liability on their end and they will have your seats given away last moment and not let you know until you demand answers. Then they will not take any accountability and put them blame on you. Even if you can actually get yourself booked and on a flight, there's absolutely no guarantee you will be able to come back when expected. Our info looked fine on Delta's website, but I recommend calling them to double check any flights made through a 3rd party. We are still waiting for our refund 20 business days later (5 weeks later) claiming that Kenya Airways (3rd, 4th, 5th? party) has gone bankrupt and that we should dispute the charge if we want our money back soon. Kenya Airways is indeed NOT bankrupt. I will keep calling this company until I get my money back. DONT BOOK THROUGH THEM.

First, they did a bait and switch on the ticket we wanted. Then, I went to check in to the flight and it gave me an error. I called at 8AM and they claimed the flight was overbooked and would work on it and call me back in 2 hours. After 8 hours, I called them and they said the flight was cancelled and will refund my money in 21 days. The flight was not cancelled as I was able to book the same flight separate from them. I assume they were able to cancel my reservation and make more money on another reservation. Worst customer experience perhaps in my life.

Last month I had a disappointing experience, wherein I booked a flight reservation with farebubble, but they had to cancel it the next day due to overbooking. I was very unhappy at the time, and when they tried to rebook me on different flights at inconvenient times and greater cost, I complained. I explained to them that because of this I was taking my business elsewhere. So, why 5 stars, then?
Well, I recently received a call from Casper w/ FareBubble, he worked through the issue with me and took great care to make sure all of my needs were met on a new, different itinerary. He has restored my faith in FareBubble as a whole by going above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. If only other organizations' customer service teams took such care! I would recommend FareBubble to anybody who might ask, and look forward to booking with them again in the future.
