Amended/ edited but still feel SCAM SCAM SCAM

Edited today:
...so they had booked my tickets but with quantas I rang them directly to check. They issued my e-ticket and the return flight ref numbers. Victor..the consultant inly emailed me after his colleague told him I had left a review here. He hasn't told me how they got involved with the booking when I rang Emirates directly. They charged us £200+ booking fee which we have obviously lost but at least I have the flights

SCAM SCAM SCAM - I rang the booking line on the emirates website and booked and paid for flights totaling over 2k on 23rd October 2023 for flights in May 2024. The email I got detailing the flights said that the booking reference was to follow. I was told that there were only a couple of seats left on the plane and I had to be quick to book them I just checked for emails to get the booking reference in order to see if i could check in yet and I have no reference number email. I have rang the numbers detailed within the faresearching website and the number provided by 'Victor Cane' my lovely thieving robbing 'travel consultant' and both numbers are not in service. I have since had a live chat with emirates and they have no record of my booking. Fortunately, using their website I am able to book the same flights - which are coming in at £500 less than those sneaks. I don't know how they can lie straight in bed. Im just thankful I booked on a credit card. My advice would be to check the email address when booking any flights over the phone to ensure they are actually from an Emirates consultant

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!

Unfortunately, I have become a victim of these scammers. After speaking with BA, I google searched the BA helpline number, and clicked on a number 02045714462 it took me through to a women called Anna, she seemed really helpful and it just seemed like i was talking to an office in India that was linked with BA. After speaking to her for nearly 2 hours, she found us a great deal it seemed and said that she needed to reserve these tickets before they where booked. I had asked for an email with the breakdown to be sent before making any payments. She then said if you can give me your details I will hold the details and will only make the transaction when i have sent the information across. she said I cannot make the full payment on AMEX and as the systems not working so if she can have another card. To have hold on until the informations sent. 20 mins later shes taken the payment, sent us an email. The amount debited was not agreed, she wiped all of our Avios. So we demanded the whole amount be refunded she said this has been done and the amount will be refunded we have email proof her saying this. She reassured us that it will be done, AMEX refund and the points where done within 2 days and the debited amount from our card she had said would come within14-28 days. After waiting 28 days we called back as we didnt recieve the refund found out that this is a scam. We have contacted our bank. BE VERY CAREFUL! THEY ARE SO SNEAKY AND CLEVER, THEY TRY AND CONVINCE YOU THAT THEY ARE LEGIT AND THEY EVEN STAYED IN COMMUNICATION WITH US VIA EMAIL. BUT THIS WAS ALL AN ACT SO WE WOULDN'T CLOCK ON AND CALL THE BANK AND TELL THEM THAT THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

Scammers!!

Scammers!!! Luckily I noticed before I gave away too much information. They can be very convincing. They gave me the impression that I was talking to BA. I called this number after google searching "BA phone number" and dialling the first number that google gave me.

I called them back twice after I realised that they are scammers. They tried to convince me that they are not scammers after I confronted them (over the telephone). After about 5 minutes of the scammer trying to convince me that they are a real company he wanted me to book a flight with them. Stay clear of them. Scum of humanity.

020 4532 6632 claiming to be calling…

020 4532 6632 claiming to be calling from Emirates Airline to assist with a booking. Gave him all my details including credit card but as the call went on so long I checked the number another device and found these reports. So they are not only intercepting BA calls also Emirates. Fortunately my bank acted quickly & blocked my card.

My wife accidently clicked this…

My wife accidently clicked this sponsered site while wanting to use BA airmiles for a holiday. The gut Kavin (Indian with a fake name) said that he was working for BA. Got into my wife's BA account (by asking for password and so forth) and booked flights using ALL airmiles instead of just 40,000. Then got my wife to pay £1300 as a deposit.via her credit card over the phone. He never sent any invoice , breakdown of charges etc. When I logged into the BA account I could see that the £1300 was not showing as a deposit payment. I called them back and talked another Indian (fake English name Aiden) for a refund of the so called deposit .He said that that was not payable but failed to explain why the amount didn't appear on the BA booking and also why I didn't get a invoice. He said that he'll look into it and never replied /call back. I spoke to my credit card company who blocked the payment and I got my money back. The company is not registered at the companies house. Never do any business with any company which is NOT registered at companies house and NEVER pay over the phone AND never pay without an invoice . Lastly always pay with a credit card . Never pay via bank transfer or via a debit card.

SCAM - AVOID

SCAM - AVOID
Accidentally rang after a quick Google for British Airways number and came up top. Confirmed after when Googling phone number they provides to call back on and seeing comments on here.
Was suspicious from the following signs anyway:
- Double ringtone on call (diverted).
- Immediate answer, no options.
- No BA standard recorded message.
- Information that contradicted previous BA information.
- Asked for booking reference number but asked what the layover was when there wasn’t one.
- Said was manager ‘Sam’, obviously not BA manager.
- Gave direct mobile to call to assist.
- Claimed to be able to sort out an issue with payment.
The only defence for them is that they weren’t overly pushy or demanding. Ended the call as concerned not genuine.

Bewww.faresearchingare this company

Beware this company , I was taken to this company from trying to book a flight with Norseair Atlantic , I was duped into transferring £445 , after many emails and phone calls I realised I'd been scammed , this was confirmed by my bank . The two people I was scammed by are named as Jessica Brown and Sam , they seemed to be of Indian decent . RayDavies .

Fraudulent company

I inadvertently clicked the phone number on a sponsored Google ad for this company without looking, thinking it was British Airways as I was searching for the BA helpline. The Indian scammer on the end of the line pretended to be BA (they even had the official BA hold music!) and tried to access my booking information before I cottoned on. AVOID!

Very Poor Experience

I would echo the comments of the other review on this site. Appears to be a very shady outfit. What is most bizarre is that they use the Trust Pilot logo on their website....and yet they have never claimed their site...so clearly have no relationship with Trust Pilot.

Faresearching - not fair searching!

Sam (Smith - he says) has just scammed my 89 year old friend out of £357. He booked a flight on Easyjet for her which, had it been booked direct would have cost £120. Sam Smith at Faresearching charged my friend £357, and guess what? The payment had to be split into two. One on credit card, and another on debit card. Scammers. Avoid.
