Terrible experience with Fastway…

Terrible experience with Fastway Couriers. This has honestly been one of the worst courier experiences I have ever had.

My parcel was already in my city and marked “out for delivery.” I even went out of my way to contact the depot and the driver myself. The driver told me I should expect the delivery around 7 PM, so I stayed home waiting the entire evening with my phone next to me so I wouldn’t miss the call.

It is now much later and there has been absolutely no delivery and no communication whatsoever. No call, no message, nothing. Giving customers a delivery time and then completely disappearing without any update is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful of people’s time.
This parcel was meant to be a birthday gift and the delivery had already been delayed multiple times before this. The lack of communication, poor reliability, and disorganized delivery process is unacceptable for a courier company.

Based on this experience, I would strongly discourage anyone from using Fastway Couriers if they actually need their parcels delivered on time. The service is unreliable and the customer experience is incredibly frustrating.

I wish I could give a negative star

I wish I could give a negative star. The driver was rude, impatient and left with my parcel even before my lift could reach ground floor. The numbers used to contact their head offices is also whack they kept on dropping the call when I called and complained.

Pathetic courier service

I was called and told to wait outside because they were nearby. I waited outside like I was a fool, only for the delivery guy to tell me that they went to the wrong address and I should send him my live location, which I did, but he never showed up. I’ve heard a lot of complaints about Fastway. I don’t know why companies still associate themselves with them. Does anybody know how I can retrieve my parcel?

My package has been stolen

They don't even bother hiding it anymore they stole my package, I haven't received any communication no call attempts nothing it's been 2 weeks so far . The couriers and managers ignore all of my phone calls if I get a response it's only to move me onto the next employee, they use facades of niceness pretend to be of assistance until they ignore you ..... whoever is keeping my things or are actively using them will never do well in life 💯

1 start is too much for this bunch……

1 start is too much for this bunch… wish I could use negative stars. They are dishonest, they are rude, they are unprofessional and just don’t care.
I need to buy items again as this bunch have had my package for 7 days and are incapable to delivering it. I even offered to go to their deport… I hope these online store stop using them. They are so many othe companies which perform this service and way better than them

I think we should have a petition signed against this stupid company my goods are just in a town 2 hours from me but they have been there for 4 days nothing on when will i get my things. If there was a lesser rate than this one i would go lower. Stupid stupid company

Let me not try to insult you guys…

Let me not try to insult you guys because am very upset right now… first of all why a professional company like yours made a mistake in transiting a package?? First of all they said “ we regret to inform that your parcel has been misdirected to wrong depot. WTF? You can see the address on the package? Now the package has arrived in Cape Town depot and now it is taking forever for them to deliver it to me… what kind of shipping company do this?? You guys need to improve your delivery service… so slow and very annoying

5 Star Delivery, 5 Star Service

I’m giving FastWay Couriers a full 5-star rating — and trust me, I’m not the type to leave reviews often! This one comes straight from the heart, and no, nobody paid me to write it. 😊

I ordered from GRCMint a few times and chose FastWay for delivery. Honestly, I was a bit nervous at first because of some negative feedback I’d seen online, and I trusted the Lord (that my parcels were in good hands). Boy, am I glad I did!

I’ve placed multiple orders now, and every single one arrived quickly — max 3 days in transit — safe, sound, and right at my front door here in the Western Cape. The daily tracking was super easy and reassuring; I could follow every step without any stress.

The real standout, though, was the incredible customer service from Charlene at the Cape Town branch! I called to check on my packages (yes, the wait to connect can be around 30 minutes, but it’s worth it when you get someone this helpful). Charlene was an absolute gem — patient, friendly, and went above and beyond to assist me every step of the way.

Before we hung up, she kindly took my number and promised to call back with updates. My reception isn’t always great out here, so I missed a few calls from her (three, actually!), but she didn’t give up. She left a voicemail and then thoughtfully switched to WhatsApp to send me the latest info when calls weren’t connecting. How many agents do that? Most call once and move on, but not Charlene — she made sure I stayed in the loop and felt completely taken care of. Thanks to her persistence and courtesy, my parcels arrived perfectly without any extra hassle.

Charlene, you’re a star! You turned what could have been a worrying experience into a smooth, positive one. Huge props and gratitude to you.

FastWay Couriers — thank you for the reliable, speedy service and for having such an amazing team member like Charlene on board. You’ve earned a loyal customer here. Highly recommend!

WORST COURIER IN SOUTH AFRICA

I wish I could have given these guys minus 10. THE worst couriers in South Africa.
David, who did the deliveries, just dropped the package somewhere without notification.
So I DID NOT receive anything, and need to follow up on the loss with TEM,U which is just as bad.

PLEASE DO NOT EVER use this courier!!!!

Worst company ever. Deserves no star at all.

3 weeks waiting for delivery for items from Temu. On the 30th of January, they lied to say they couldn't reach me, and today(3rd of February )I got an email from the company saying they delivered my package and I received no such delivery. I tried to contact them to explain the issue but no one picks up. My WhatsApp conservations are left without an agent. I have been scammed.

This is by far the worst courier…

This is by far the worst courier company I've had to deal with. What's worse is, this happened in December and I thought it was due to the festive chaos.

My parcel was collected on the 26th of Jan in Bloem and was meant to be delivered by the 29th of Jan in Cape Town. I have been waiting and have received NO UPDATE on neither the cause nor the current status. The package arrived in Cape Town timeously as per the tracking report but it is just not being delivered. I DO NOT recommend this company, a name change must also be considered.

Unethical

Fast Way Couriers must be one of the worst couriers in Cape Town! I ordered a book from Durban, unfortunately they used Fast Way Couriers. I knew immediately there will be a problem! I'm waiting now more than a week for my parcel, when I go on their website, apparently the courier guy can't find me and can't get hold of me..... I'm working from home, and no calls from any courier!!! This is totally unacceptable, and just bad service!!! Don't even try to phone them, no one will answer, I've been trying since 9 this morning.

DO BETTER fastway

I am very disappointed in fastway, they kept sending emails with different days saying your parcel is out for delivery expect it around 9:00 etc. Then all of a sudden I get an email saying the parcel will be scheduled for next delivery. I am mostly disappointed because on those days I chose to stay home when I could have been running other errands. Why didn't the driver call me to say they are coming?How are you going to lie and say sorry the driver missed me? The driver didn't miss me I had been home the whole time. Other couriers call to make sure you are home I fail to understand exactly how you can apologize for missing me when I had been home the entire time. You can do better. You and Temu are the worst of them all.

Would not recommend

I get an update claiming the driver could not find me. Not only is my delivery address in a mall of all places. We have cameras, and no attempt at contact was made. Not even a miss call. Whatsapp support then replies me like an angry ex girlfriend and then ghosts me when I ask for an update. Still waiting for my package or any cup of feedback. All of my staff members struggle with the same complaints.

Excellent Delivery Services

Received excellent services from the delivery team they were very polite and helpful. I definitely recommend Fastway Couriers to everyone out and thanks to Jesse one of the employees 🫡🫡

Stay Away

I went into Leroy Merlin to get lawnmower blades before xmas and the guy instore said order them online as they don't have stock. Since then I've been waiting for my delivery. Thew app is a complete waste of time and says they will get someone to call. The guy at the call centre tells me he has escalated the problem and can't do more. The tracking system tells me its been waiting for a collection...I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!
