⚠️ A Serious Warning About Feldmar Watch…
⚠️ A Serious Warning About Feldmar Watch Co. – Dishonest, Misleading, and Predatory ⚠️
As a lifelong watch collector who has purchased from respected dealers and boutiques all over the world, I never imagined I would have to write something like this. But my experience with Feldmar Watch Co. was so outrageous, so deceptive, and so damaging, that I feel a responsibility to expose what happened and warn others.
From the very beginning, I was misled. Vivian, the sales rep I dealt with, presented herself as friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I believed I had found someone I could work with in good faith. That illusion ended the moment money entered the picture. I was pressured into sending a wire transfer only — no credit card, no protection, no recourse. Once they had my money, the truth started to unravel.
What I was sold as an in-stock purchase turned out to be a complete fabrication. Only after the money was sent was I told that the watch wasn’t in their inventory at all — it had to be ordered from Germany. This was never disclosed before payment, and I made it clear from the start that I needed the watch in time for a specific event. They knew I would never have agreed if they told me upfront, and that’s exactly why they withheld the truth.
When I tried to cancel upon realizing I was deceived, Feldmar hit me with another blatant lie: “It’s a custom order, non-refundable.” That’s absurd. The watch in question is a catalog piece, not custom in any way. They deliberately used this excuse to trap me.
What followed was weeks of lies, stalling, and empty promises. Vivian even claimed she would “speak with the CEO of Glashütte Original” on my behalf, which I now believe was just another manipulation to buy time. She promised the watch in a week. A week turned into two. I postponed my trip twice waiting for a watch that never arrived. And once they knew I was out of options, Vivian and Scott (the owner, according to her) stopped responding altogether — ignoring emails, calls, everything.
Let me be clear: this is not simply bad customer service. This is predatory business behavior. I was misled, lied to, denied a refund under false pretenses, and ultimately ignored after they had my money. They took advantage of my trust as a collector and left me without the watch, without my money, and without any accountability.
The most insulting part? Feldmar markets itself as a “premier destination” for fine timepieces. That image could not be further from the reality I experienced. What I saw was a company willing to say anything to close a deal, and then vanish once they’ve cashed your wire. A company that hides behind fake excuses like “custom orders” to keep your money. A company that has no respect for collectors, no honesty, and no integrity.
I am pursuing this legally, but that’s not enough. The watch community deserves to know the truth. Feldmar Watch Co. should be held accountable not only by customers but by the brands they represent and the authorities who oversee fair business practices.
If you are considering Feldmar Watch Co., I cannot say this strongly enough: do not trust them. Do not send them your money. Do not believe their promises. There are many honest, professional watch dealers in the world. Feldmar is not one of them.
