Update on Review: Fetch reached out and I have been told they have removed many of the restrictions placed on our cover. I will still need to go and get his teeth checked out as apparently there was something about gum disease in our vets notes - none of us can remember being told about any tooth issu. If they do remove these restrictions (and I guess we will only know if we ever have to claim) then I believe that will be a fair resolution of this issue. It is a warning to other pet owners- always check what the vet puts in your notes to make sure it cant be misconstrued by insurance companies as evidence of a pre-existing condition!

Fetch waited until we were customers for about a year - with a dog that has been healthy and never had a big claim. But he turned 7 and probably this means they are anticipating getting claims for an older dog. So it must have triggered them to do a deep dive on any previous vet visits. We were first time dog owners so we would ask the vet about all sorts of things on our routine visits . We have a staffy - and he has been very healthy - yet now they have listed everything we have ever checked out - even when it turned out to be nothing - as a 'pre-existing condition' ruling out pretty much anything that could ever happen to a dog as it gets older. Feel very ripped off!

I’ve had a really positive experience with Fetch Pet Insurance. The team is super responsive and communicative!
Additionally claims been simple to submit through the app, and reimbursements were processed faster than I expected, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage.
I also appreciate the range of coverage for accidents and illnesses, and the peace of mind knowing my pet is protected if something unexpected happens. Overall, Fetch is reliable, transparent, and genuinely focused on pet wellbeing. I would definitely recommend them to other pet owners looking for dependable insurance.

We truly can’t recommend Fetch Pet Insurance enough. With three dachshunds, having the right cover isn’t optional for us — it’s essential.
In May 2025, our sweet boy Jasper was diagnosed with IVDD, and it was one of the scariest experiences we’ve ever faced as pet parents. From the very beginning, Fetch supported us every step of the way. Knowing we were covered allowed us to focus entirely on Jasper’s recovery, not the financial stress.
What sets Fetch apart is how comprehensive their care is — a $30,000 annual cover limit, support for holistic treatments and physiotherapy (which was huge for Jasper), multi-pet discounts, behavioural cover, lost pet support, emergency boarding, and even end-of-life care.

I first signed up to Fetch Pet Insurance in August 2024 when bringing my new puppy home and I can’t recommend them enough!
This year has been a ruff one for us. Honey, my one year old cocker spaniel was diagnosed with Addisons Disease in October meaning numerous vet visits, treatments and hospitals stays. The team at Fetch couldn’t have been any more helpful. Every time I’ve had to put in a claim has been incredibly easy. The app is simple to use, easy to navigate and makes putting in a claim stress free! Whenever I had questions, or needed extra support the team were there with pawsitive attitudes. All claims were processed in a quick and efficient manner and money was back in my account in a matter of days. At only $49 a month, I can rest easy knowing my best mate is taken care of and I can focus on the more important things.

This allowed the incredible team at West Coast Vets to focus on care, not paperwork. Darius was fully patched up and got some top-notch meds that helped him forget the whole experience. Unfortunately they advise against giving to humans. Scary situation, happy ending, and absolute peace of mind when we needed it most 💖

Only 5 stars will do for this great pet insurance. Buddy had a sudden seizure and Fetch approved the claim immediately and reassured me he would be covered should there be any ongoing issues. Xena has been with fetch since she was 8 weeks old. We needed to use fetch for emergency surgery and fetch were so easy to deal with. They approved each claim usually within a timely manner and the money was reimbursed back into our account quickly. They have many options for coverage and large yearly limits. We are very happy with fetch. Only thing I would ask it’s gap only payments to avoid forking out the large amounts needed for some things. But otherwise overall extremely satisfied.

A Pet Insurer like none you've experienced before. Even more friendly and caring for our animal friends than RSPCA or Medibank private or others in my personal experience and dealings with them . Kind hearted team of vets, vet nurses and pet lovers who understand what it means to care for our animals and can be relied upon at times of distress. Easy App Access online portal to lodge and follow up with claims, keep in touch with inquiries, get clarification with what is covered with no confusing constantly changing and precluding PDS documents other Insurers use to evade mutual agreements. I am very pleased and happy for selecting Fetch and benefiting from their innovative first in Australia approach in Pet care support system and App development.

When my dachshund Dax was diagnosed with IVDD, I was heartbroken and completely overwhelmed. It was such a scary time, and the last thing I wanted to worry about was how I was going to afford his care. Fetch honestly took such a weight off my shoulders.
Their app is super easy to use, I was able to submit claims and track everything without any stress, which made such a difference when my mind was already on Dax. The staff were always friendly and kind whenever I had questions, and I felt like they genuinely cared about what we were going through.
On top of that, their prices are really competitive, but they offer so much more than just insurance. They gave me peace of mind when I needed it most, and that’s priceless.
I’m so grateful to Fetch for helping us through one of the toughest times in Dax’s life (and mine). I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without them.
