Choosing the right photography and videography team for your wedding is one of the hardest decisions you’ll make. You’re trusting a team to be in exactly the right place at exactly the right time to capture moments that only happen once, with no second take. For us, that team was Filmworks Media, and the man behind the camera, Sunny.

I’d known about Sunny and his work for a number of years before we booked him, and I already knew he was exceptional behind the lens. Even so, we did our due diligence and shopped around properly. From the very first point of contact, though, Sunny’s responsiveness set him apart. He was on it from day one, not because he was short of work but in spite of being in high demand. That was our first real preview of his professionalism, long before we’d even signed anything.

Our initial consultation call sealed it. Both Jas and I joined, and within minutes there was a genuine connection. Sunny understood our dynamic as a couple and as individuals almost instantly. From that point we knew we needed to book him before someone else did.

The in person meeting that followed only confirmed it. We sat with Sunny for hours talking through how we wanted our content to look and feel, and his eye for detail matched our own, which is saying something given how particular we are. It already felt like we’d known him for years.

Sunny photographed our small, intimate civil ceremony, which gave him the chance to properly get to know our immediate families early on. It was a small event in the scheme of things, but an important one, and he treated it that way. Then came a full weekend of preshoots, one Desi and one English, both shot beautifully despite the heat. By the time our wedding week arrived, we were completely comfortable in front of the camera with him, and it showed in how easily everything came together. Across every event that week, Sunny and his team took the time to get to know our families properly, and every single one of them came away with glowing things to say about the professionalism and care the team brought.

The Reception was where Filmworks really showed what they’re capable of. High energy, constant movement, a huge number of moving parts, and the team were right in amongst it all, working hard to capture everything needed for the final video and the next day edit.

That next day edit genuinely felt like a movie. Everyone who watched it loved it, and the speed and quality Sunny turned it around in was remarkable. Producing something that polished, that quickly, is no small feat, and it’s one of the things that makes him stand out.

Throughout the entire process, from the first ideas to the final edit, the creativity never stopped. We were constantly bouncing ideas off each other and trying new things together, and the content we ended up with feels genuinely collaborative rather than just delivered to us.

Sunny, thank you for everything from the bottom of our hearts. We haven’t just worked with the best in the business, we’ve gained a friend for life. We can’t recommend Filmworks Media enough, and if you’re looking for a team that combines real professionalism, an obsessive eye for detail, and a turnaround time that will genuinely surprise you, this is it.

Honestly couldn’t recommend the Filmworks Team enough. They covered all of our events and absolutely smashed it from start to finish.

I always knew Filmworks Media was who I was going to book when I had set our wedding date. I didn’t enquire with anyone else and said if I had to compromise our date to get them that’s what we would do!

From the moment we booked, Sunny hasn’t just been our photographer and videographer, he has become like family. Sunny knew exactly what the end product was going to be from our pre shoot to our events. Everything has been done with precision and care.

Our pre shoot vibe was fantastic, full of laughs and jokes. The constant communication was second to none as we wanted everything perfect. Sunny showed so much care during all of our events ensuring we were okay and nothing was too much.

There are so many highlights but one of our key highlights for us had to be the production of our same day edit trailer to show our friends and family on our wedding reception, the sequence was so thought out and was loved by everybody.

Sunny, you and the team smashed it, we cannot thank you enough for making our wedding so special, remember we are friends for life now!

The Filmworks Team are absolutely brilliant and the only Videography / Photography Team we would use for functions.

Sunny made our reception party effortless, took great shots in minimal time so we could actually enjoy our party. He gave us tips on how parts of the event would look superb eg the entrance, cake cutting, and first dance and what can I say the videos on instagram, the actual film and photos say it all.

Friends and family that have seen the Instagram posts, photos and film have all commented on how amazing the content is!

We were made to feel comfortable from start to finish, got a huge variety of content, and they gave us great suggestions on locations for the photos to be taken. From the preshoot, to all of the prewedding events, helping us deliver suprise gift to one another the morning of our wedding, turning around a next day edit for our reception, having our film and photos back to us within 2 months, working with us on editing the film to make it just right for us .... we just cannot express how much we appreciate Sunny. He was always on time, always there with us, amazing with the family and most importantly we trusted him.

One thing that really stood out was how accommodating he was with any changes and the stylistic approach to the video and pictures. The whole experience literally made us feel like we didn't have to worry about this aspect of the wedding.
