I brought an Olympus trip 35 from here, I used the camera sent off for printing they came back blank. I realised the camera wasn’t shooting correctly at all or sealed properly at the back when purchased even though the camera was purchased as top grade and functioned. Been ripped off £150 and when contacted them they never replied. So I’ve got a faulty camera with no use.

I am passionate about photography. I explored purchasing a vintage camera lens from Film Camera Store first time. Placement of order was smooth and then onwards, promptly received tracking updates. Finally, I received the item well on time. The lens is in good usable condition as described. Overall, it was a good shopping experience!

My Olympus Trip 35 camera has just arrived, and I'm very disappointed with the leather finish. I chose the brown textured leather option, but instead received a camera with smooth brown leather.
While I understand that the camera itself is refurbished, the quality of the leather application is unacceptable. There are visible gaps, excess glue, and in some places the leather isn't even properly attached. The camera I received looks nothing like the one shown in the listing.
My advice to anyone considering a purchase is to ask for actual photos of the specific camera before buying, as the advertised images may not reflect what you'll receive.
I'm now just hoping the camera itself works properly.

The worst company in the UK. Ordered a lens. Delivery was promised as in 48hrs. Arrived after 12 days. All efforts to contacting this company failed. No phone number. No reply to emails. No reply to messages on IG. No reply to their own contact form. Absolute scam artists. Thought I’d be scammed. Finally after 10 days got a reply on Instagram. Heard nothing from anyone. Do not buy from here. You have been warned. Shocking in every way. Product used but marked and slightly damaged. I just can’t bring myself to cause for a refund. Wish I could give 1/2 a star

Absolute scam artists. Camera I bought was meant to be near mint but was it arrived in very bad quality and was an joke to call that mint. I emailed for a refund multiple times and was just ignored. Luckily, I paid with credit card so claimed my money back. Avoid at all costs

Finally got a response after 3 weeks for a return address, so I returned the unopened package (as I didnt end up needing it), paid for my own postage, got a delivery proof it's been delivered, and guess what, it's been more than a month now and I still haven't got my refund, chased multiple times on email, no response like I'm speaking to a wall!! This company is a certified scam and thief.

Ordered and everything arrived a day before expected delivery. Nice protective packaging and plenty of bubblewrap around camera. Seems clean and all in working order.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. SCAMMER.
Allegedly owns 5 business. Doesn’t respond.
Not sent goods but of course taken money. Reported to Fraud and local police.

I had an old Olympus OM10 film camera which I wanted to sell. I contacted several companies for quotes and Film Camera Store came back the highest offer. I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews, but sent the camera off anyway. Within a day, Eilidh came back saying the camera was accepted and the agreed amount was in my bank account the next day. From my experince, you can sell your old kit to this company with confidence.

The camera never arrived. To ask how it went seems like a joke.

Camera arrived on time well packaged and in great condition

This is a one person company hence why there is delay in communication and delivery. The custom service isn’t the same as a big company but the product I received work fine. My order wasn’t complete and I had to email again but did get it a week later.

Avoid at all costs.
I purchased a camera just before Christmas with 24‑hour delivery promised. Despite this, it took nearly a week just to be dispatched.
When the camera finally arrived, it was in no condition to be used. I sent several emails to customer support, all of which were ignored until I hinted at taking legal action. Only then did I receive a response.
I was instructed to return the camera at my own expense, which I did immediately. After they received it, there was no communication for over two weeks. Despite having the camera back, they failed to process a refund in a reasonable timeframe.
I eventually received my refund more than a month after the original purchase.
The most concerning part of this experience was being told that they do not guarantee that certain parts of the camera will work — which is completely unacceptable for a product sold as functional.
You have been warned. Do not trade with this company, and pay close attention to the one‑star reviews — they reflect my experience exactly.
