Just so everyone knows - there is no feature for script days. So if you are trying do do a schedule - there's no way to indiacte D1, D2, N2 ,N3. Their own chatbot AI Dude says "Yeah — that’s the rub. I can infer it for you, but if the interface can’t store, display, filter, and schedule by story day, then it’s not carrying its weight in a pro workflow. 😎" Thier own AI is saying the limiations of this software. It's also difficlult to renumber cast. So it all can do is provide a synsopsis of each scene and it does do an adequate job of that. But so would any other AI model.

Unbelievable! Not a lover of AI but this was absolutely superb. I was blown away. The results were so quick coming through and I feel confident my synopses have been taken to another level. I thoroughly recommend.

Still needs a lot of bugs fixed or some better programming. Spent more time editing the breakdown then I expected. AI really doesn’t know how to schedule properly. Hopefully this will improve as the concept is good but they need to put a lot more AI training to be able to do it. I’m sticking with MMS.

Alina was terrific! I was having trouble uploading my pdf file to Filmustage and she helped me get that done, as well as explain some of the tasks I would be doing, such as merging duplicate characters. She was very patient and knowledgeable.

The concept is the future but the amount of editing I had to do with the details and the schedule, almost made it more work than what I would have done doing the old way. I’m on the fence with this. Probably won’t use it again.

The experience of having AI significantly shorten the process of script breakdowns, scheduling and budgeting was fantastic. However, I found out quickly that I was not able to rely even just a little bit on AI to make the scheduling and the budgeting accurate. I spent more time editing than I had planned for, and that quickly became frustrating. For students who are just learning the process, I do not think this is beneficial unless they are working on a short film and small budgets.

As I worked with my writing students, I was able to use Filmustage to show them the produceability of their scripts. This gave them insight into the impact of their words in terms of production, which makes them more astute writers.

BEWARE FALSE PROMISES ON THE UPGRADES - I upgraded because I thought Budget would export to Movie Magic Budget but it only outputs PDF which splits the page mid-row and to excel which is useless so I've spent hours of work for nothing. I would have been better off using Movie Magic and build the budget from scratch. Very frustrating - the support chat wakes up very infrequently to answer my queries - very inconsistent.

The software improves every time I use it. I've been working with it for years. It really comes in handy when I need to put together a rough schedule really quick.

Filmustage was a very valuable tool for me making a first pass on breaking scripts down to then build budgets off of.

However I became more impressed recently with their customer service and their understanding of the tough times film industry employees are going through.

When my yearly subscription was renewed I was not in a place financially to afford it and they were able to issue me a full refund and understood my situation.

I really enjoyed the product and look forward to renewing my subscription once I have my next gig in place.
