I have been using the service for a while and it suits all my needs. Data is complete, accurate, and easy to fetch using APIs. Couldn't hope for a better centralized data service. Definitely recommend it and will continue using it in my research.

The "real time" quotes are not real time and there are no refunds. Connection with their server is often unstable. On the bright side, their live chat really works.

there's no explicit way to cancel the subscription service and no reminder notice/email even i removed my payment card info in their site. I was still charged for 4 years. avoid such a scam as far as possible

They got premium endpoints such as earnings call transcript, Institutional Holders List, Analyst rating - That I wasn't able to find them anywehere

I have been using Financial Modeling Prep for a long time, and it's excellent. This provider is reliable for stock market data, and I find their service to be of high quality. The bulk data feature is particularly impressive. Overall, it's one of the best APIs for the US stock market.

I like that Financial Modeling Prep is kind of an all in one financial API. It has real time stock data, financial statements, earnings estimates, earnings transcripts, earnings surprises, analyst upgrade/downgrade, crypto, sentiment, everything. And if I'm not wrong there are more and more endpoints appearing. Because of this, I am able to develop apps more efficiently as everything from their API is returned in the same structured format to process. The price is reasonable too.

FMP has more than 150 endpoints that cover all your financial data needs to do extensive analysis all in one API - The documentation page is very easy to navigate!

I've been using FinancialModelingPrep as the primary data source for the Finance Toolkit, an open-source package written in Python with 130+ financial metrics which can be found on GitHub. I truly believe that the amount of data they provide as opposed to the price you are paying is an absolute bargain and I definitely recommend them.

1-Communication Issues: One of the primary concerns I have with FinancialModelingPrep is the noticeable lack of timely customer support. Multiple attempts to get in touch went unanswered, which was a major frustration.

2-Surprise Renewal: I was taken aback when my subscription was automatically renewed without any notification. Customers deserve to be informed of any impending charges to avoid unforeseen expenses.

3-Service Undelivered: Even after the auto-renewal, the expected services were not rendered. Moreover, the absence of an invoice for this transaction leaves me concerned about the company's administrative practices.

4-Support Concerns: The few interactions I had with the support team were concerning. Being asked for my PayPal ID due to their inability to locate it themselves is not only unprofessional but also raises questions about their data management.

My experience with FinancialModelingPrep API has been less than satisfactory. I'd recommend potential users to exercise caution and consider other, more reliable options.
