Terrible service and dangerous product
Don’t touch them. I am disabled and purchased a self propelled wheel chairs .the manufacturer of chair was dangerous with sharp welds on the hand driven wheel. The foot rest was made out of thin flimsy plastic and the comfort was terrible. More importantly the seller couldn’t gives damn. I will donate to the crusher for safety as it shouldn’t be sold. An absolute disgrace and rip off

Save yourselves from First2save!
First2save, one of the trade names under which Simon Lee Properties operates, is described by all the review published by TrustPilot, as the seller from Hell: and with good reason. The only favourable comment is that of a buyer who immediately opened her parcel on delivery and, founding a piece missing, contacted the seller to complain, who immediately replaced it.
The truth is something else, the untold story of those who, like myself, checked the goods on arrival and, finding that the charger worked and the batteries charged as they must, and that nothing was missing, did not put their purchase in use until they had a use for it. In my case, who had purchased a wheelchair to go on outings when the weather improved, I had to wait a couple of months, until the weather became milder and dryer. As soon as the spring arrived I started going out on my power chair and thoroughly enjoyed my outings because my wheelchair was very comfortable and had a good autonomy. Unfortunately I was not able to enjoy my outings for long bcause my wheelchair broke down in less than 4 weeks, because it took less then 4 wooks for rust to form on its undercarriage and for my wheelchair starting to play truant, refusing to obey me commands, sending me careering into a brickwall.
Thus I had it comfirmed what I suspected all along, namely that I had been sold a category A power chair – for indoor use only, in lieu of a category B power chair. Category B wheelchairs are more robust than category A because they are conceived to meet a set of more stringent standards - like they coping with uneaven surfaces, overcome small obstacles, withstand being parked outdoors under proper cover all year round.
I had suspected as much when I first went through the owner's handbook provided by Free2be, so crammed with "don'ts"that, read in conjunction with each other, defined the powerchair that I had been sold by First2save as a category A wheelchair . However, when I raised the matter with Simon Lee, stating that so far I had not put his Free2be powerchair into use, was afraid to do so because I feared that it was not suitable for the use for which I bought it, Simon Lee denied that this was the case, insisting that it was a category B powerchair because it was splashproof, and refused to give me a refund. Almost three months had gone since I had been delivered my Free2be power chair, too late to raise a dispute on eBay and ask their intervention and to leave a bad review also. I was left with no choice but to rely on Simon Lee's assurances that I had nothing to worry as all their product came with a 2 years warrantee.
I had no use for a catebory A wheelchair but the seller refused to give me my money back so that I coud buy myself a wheelchair that fulfilled my needs, I was left with no option but to use the Free2live product as if it were a category B wheelchair, serving the right to ask again Simon Lee for a refund when it broke down, which by now I knew it would, though not quite so soon. I did not facture in the risk I was taking with my life, since I could not predict exactly when my powerchair would break down, and how. Crushing against a brick wall was bad enough, but If the same had happened while I was proceeding on the pavement along a busy road I doubt I would be here now relating my experience to the readers of trustpilot.
The authors of the other reviews of Free2be and other Simon Lee Properties Ltd trademarks have already said all there is to say about Simon Lee's worthless guarantees. Warrantees are less than a penny the dozed when the seller who issues is a con who takes all the necessary steps to ensure that he does not have to honour them, including all sort of "disclaimers" to shift the blame on the buyer. Simon Lee finds in eBay the ideal platform to sell his merchandise, eBay and other internet platforms that offer him the same advantages. I wonder what is eBay's position in such matter, that I personally made aware that Simon Lee is a dishonest seller and why.
It was the mention of my bringing the case to the attention of the Citizen Advise Bureau that eventually prompted Simon Lee to have my wheelchair collected and delivered to them at their expenses, to identify the cause of the issues I was experiencing - rust on the undercarriage, eventually transpired.
I am about to take Simon Lee before a Court, arguing that the wheelchair they sold me does not comply with standards EN 12184:2022, and ISO 7176-9:2001(E) with which all category B must comply, stating how I aargued the point with him when I first suspected to b the case, and how he had denied it and refused to give me a refund. Whereby I was going to the small caourt asking for a full refund, plus damages, plus costs.

Great company and fantastic products
Great company and fantastic products. Bought a wheelchair for my nan but there was a part missing. As soon as our review went on eBay that there was a part missing First2save automatically replied and sent out the item three days later. Highly recommend this company and they definitely met our expectations. Thanks especially to Justin.

I bought 2 hoverboards and they were both unreliable. First2save didn't respond to emails so I opened a small claims court action and got my money back. I'd recommend that action to get a response. It's quick and easy plus you also get the court action money (£35) from them too.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
If I could give a zero rating I would. The warranty isn't worth anything! Purchased the Nero treadmill, stopped working after 5 weeks, the belt was sticking. Ebay couldn't do anything and the reason they have such good reviews on Ebay is because you cannot write a review after 30 days of purchase. Their issue is with their customer service, if you have bought from them then pray nothing goes wrong as the customer service is non existent along with the warranty. They sell dodgy items that will break down and then they will not answer emails or give you your money back! I am left with a treadmill that is a health hazard as it just stopped mid run and my partner almost went flying. Have sent multiple emails, no reply. This company is a joke, they are crooks that take your money and leave you with dodgy, broken items. They should not be allowed to trade!
Avoid seller
I am extremely dissapointed at the lack of customer service from first2save and would like to warn other buyers!
7 months ago, I ordered their NERO PRO treadmill for £259.99. The treadmill had been working perfectly fine until 2 months ago where my partner had been using the treadmill and she was shocked electrically by the machine.
Having ordered such an expensive item, I did not expect it to break after only 5 months, which shouldn’t be the case with any products, especially for this price.
After contacting first2save directly, they had instructed me to send the faulty treadmill back for inspection however, requesting me to pay an additional £20 for shipping costs which they said they would refund once they complete their inspection. Considering there is a cost of living crisis which has heavily affected me and my partner, I have been unable to do so.
I would not expect for a company to charge me for shipping the item back to them when they had sent me a faulty machine which broke just after 5 months of use! I have tried to come to an understanding with first2save however, they have been of no help. I would like to come to an agreement with them but unfortunately, I feel like the only option I have is to leave a review to be heard.
Ordered a hoverboard from this company…
Ordered a hoverboard from this company lasted two weeks Returned the faulty item and they sent a replacement however the courier left the parcel on the doorstep and when we contacted them they told us this was a successful delivery Will now not answer emails Would never buy anything from them again
Scam alert ⚠. No warranty. Not answer any email
They don't answer any email. No warranty. Scam. I buyed a Nero electric scooter with 3 years warranty but not warranty at all. No answer any email. Scam
Terrible customer service I purchased…
Terrible customer service I purchased exercise bike in January 2021 it’s now not working I’ve emailed several times emailed the manufacturer no reply, I’ve now emailed trading standards
Not a trustworthy seller at all
Not a trustworthy seller at all. My treadmill broke which I bought in July 2020. As per their advertisement on eBay that it’s a life time warranty when I contacted them via emails they never replied. They never answer the phone. It’s such a shame that they are playing with customer trust by misleading the customers. Extremely bad
Rip off and awful customer service
I bought a Nero treadmill from this seller. It is a really bad toy treadmill.
I paid £400 for this treadmill. I then realised that I'd been ripped off when I saw it being sold at half or less that price shortly after I had bought it, which was at the start of covid-19, when it seems clear they were ripping off their customers.
I've had other treadmills for the same (real) price and lasted a few years no problem. 1 year and 4 months with this one and I am on the 4th running deck (cracks after 4 months) and second set of beams.
They advertise it with 2 year warranty on parts. They sent me replacement parts when they broke but only after a lot of back and forth and accusations of accidental damage and misuse. I'm 80 kg weight and run twice a week. The treadmill is sold as for up to 110 kg. Last time they told me they would not send me more parts, even though it is still within the 2 year warranty. This treadmill is a really cheap and low quality one, any pound spent on it is a waste, better invest it on a proper treadmill from a trustable seller.
Reported to Trading Standards & Ebay
Purchased swegway scooter with 3 year warranty which developed 3 faults, the most recent being it does not brake nor go in the intended direction resulting in a near death experience for my child with a bus as it did not stop at the pavement or change direction. Sent numerous messages only to be constantly ignored. They say they refund postage costs if the fault is with the product but they do not even honour this. They are falsely representing their warranty which they do not adhere to which Ebay is currently investigating. Have had to report to Ebay and Trading Standards. Awful unprofessional company.
I’m loathed to have to even give 1 star…
I’m loathed to have to even give 1 star for this dreadful company. Headed by someone called Simon Lee, first2save are an absolute shower of you know what.
On 22/09/2020 I purchased the following item from their eBay store;
BLUETOOTH Nero Sports Exercise Bike Cycle Indoor Training 12kg flywheel
It was delivered 4-5 days later.
This item is also listed with the attractive benefit of being able to “RACE LIVE ONLINE with other cyclists” using the popular app ZWIFT.
I bought this bike, purely for its Bluetooth capability. This was to help me improve my fitness, because of a physical disability that has had a significant negative impact on my overall health.
I was drawn in with this wonderful description and being the mug that I am, I fell for it.
The bike was delivered, I set it up and worked for a few weeks before the connection between the bike and the Zwift app stopped working completely.
As it was a fairly new purchase I contacted their eBay team for help. Their eBay team responded on 02/12/20 and sent out a new computer as well as a list of things to check to ensure the bike was working correctly. Once the new computer arrived, I then followed the instructions provided by “Alec”.
During these checks I managed to trap the little finger on my right hand in the left pedal of the bike (above the Bluetooth sensor) The pedal began to move and the weight of the heavy flywheel dragged my finger with it. Imagine a tin-can opening and that’s what happened to my finger. It looked like my little finger had been partially severed and the cut was so deep that I could both see and touch the bone within it.
I made their customer service team aware of this freak incident, and also the fact that the new computer didn’t resolve the issue, and all your customer service rep, “Sam”, could say was “I’m sorry to hear that. Could I ask that you check a few things for me please?”. I was absolutely stunned by the lack of concern by their customer service rep, after all this was caused by a faulty piece of equipment that they had sold to me. No where in the manual, that came with it, does it warn of the dangers of the moving parts of this bike.
By this point I was left injured and without the proper use of the item that I bought from them.
After a few more back and forth messages with their customer service team, and 3 or 4 new bike computers, on 09/02/21 their customer service team then decided to completely ignore my other messages for help and assistance. I have since been unable to raise a response from Simon Lee or his customer service team, so I’m left with an exercise bike that I can’t use, as was described, and I’ve been paying a monthly £12.99 fee, ever since the purchase of this bike, for access to the Zwift app that I can’t even use!!!!
So, at present they have left a disabled man without the proper intended use of a piece of exercise equipment that he bought ONLY because of the attractive Bluetooth feature. There is another, exact, same version of this bike that comes WITHOUT Bluetooth and had I wanted a bike without Bluetooth I would have bought that bike instead and at a significantly lower price.
I’ve also been left with a permanent scar and reduced movement in the little finger of my right hand.
It is clear that this is the kind of way that Simon Lee, as a business owner, operates and does all they can to ignore their customers after their purchases.
I have tried, tried, tried and tried to raise a response from this company but I still can’t get through to anyone.
I would seriously discourage anyone and everyone from purchasing anything from this company, as any problems after the sale will he completely ignored and at YOUR expense.
This should be a ZERO STAR rating but sadly Trust Pilot insist that a 1 star is the lowest you can give.
Appalling customer service
We bought a treadmill (NS-105-BT) and at first all was well. However after a few months the motor started smoking so we had to stop using.
Tried to contact several times - they do not pickup the phone. They do not respond to emails. They do not respond to EBAY enquiries. Have tried to give them a chance, but patience has worn thin.
So far very good
I ordered an exercise bike from this company and then read the reviews, wrong way round and then worried due to the negative reviews!
However.... Item arrived within 2 working days... Well packaged... Went together easily in about 20 minutes... Connected to Zwift app at first try... Screen shared to TV no problem... So far everything is great.
I noticed the pulse monitor doesn't even try to connect to Zwift so maybe that option has been removed due to problems and negative feedback on another review?
So far very happy but only day one, I will update if I have problems as experienced by others but for now I thought I would create some balance in reviews...
One of the worst companies and experiences
By far one of the worst companies i have ever had to deal with. I bought a treadmill of them, a decision i regret immensely. I bought this treadmill, after a day it stopped working and started making a noise, i gave them the benefit of the doubt (wish i hadnt) and instead of going for a refund they sent me a replacement. This stopped working soon after as well. I contacted them then saying i want a refund, within law if the item breaks they refund, if not they replace. Within first six months if they replace and you still have issues they must give refund. Once i started mentioning this to them they stopped replying to my emails. Initially they said they would pick up the treadmill, now they will only say they will give us £20 we have to do the rest our selves, we got a quote for this delivery it comes to £150. The treadmill is complete garbage so we dont want it replaced for more garbage. The customer service is complete garbage. And because on ebay after 30 days they wont assist we are stuck. BTW ebay only allows reviews within 30 days so we cant even leave them a negative review. Avoid at all costs.
Nero Sports scooter
I bought a Nero Sports e-scooter from this seller, the battery stopped charging within 6 months.
The seller refuses to fix it and asks for payment and was abusive on the phone, too.
Purchased a Segway of their EBay site…
Purchased a Segway of their EBay site on 10th May for my son's birthday. It is now May 20th and there is no sign of the product. Their carrier never tried to deliver it. It is now on a slow journey apparently back to Hull(where they are based). They say it will be sent out upon return. That is unacceptable and could take weeks longer.
Exchanged a volume of messages asking for another to be dispatched. Not possible they said! This company couldn't give a toss about customers.
They won't give you a telephone or contact myself in spite of them being sent by telephone number.
They just sit behind their keyboards, taking money and treating people like S**t.
If you have the opportunity to purchase elsewhere I would recommend that very strongly.
One final note for all potential customers out there. It is very easy both to find the telephone number and address of this "outfit".
Check out companies house. I did.
You might want to contact them direct.
