Reserved a table for a family meal, service was a bit slow and uncoordinated with mains arriving before starters etc. - can be forgivable - but in error my sister paid on one till, and I paid on another - totally our error i admit, but the restaurant was having none of it when asked for a refund, visited 2/3 times to discuss but was told to wait for transactions to cancel as there were no transactions on the till, even though I had two receipts and money had gone from two accounts - was promised calls to discuss but they never came.... we cancelled one transaction in the end as fraudulent so all good - but a frustrating experience.... been a few times overall been ok, this just left a sour taste....

Food and service was lovely as it is every time! If you go at the right time the sun set is amazing!

Parking run the private area outside the restaurant. I parked for less than two hours and unwittingly didn’t pay for parking. £100 fine is disgusting. And because I lost the letter they escalated to a company called debt recovery plus. Who then upped the fine to £170. Your restaurant is not worth it.

This is the second time I have been disaapointed on visiting the fistral stable when ive been on holiday. I purposely booked a window seat weeks in advance as I knew they were the comfortable booths as I have a disability. When I raised it with a memeber of staff was quite abruptly told no window seats available and pointed us to a table for 2 with the worst small chairs imaginable. So as there was a window seat empty we moved and she swiftly came across rudely telling us we cant sit there and I said I booked a window seat for my disability I cant sit on those chairs dont you have any other free tables was point blankly told no! even though at least 3 larher comfier tables were available. All the while we were there we finished our pizza and no body came to the empty window seat as a result someone must have heard me and the manager came over and said it was booked but they havent turned up so if you want you can sit there and I said well weve finished now so he did discount the bill by 20%. He couldnt apologise enough when I told him about my disability to be honest the rude waitress should have come across and apologised. Also all the ream that were serving were so miserable not one smile cracked by any of them. The whole place just seems biased to larger parties and if there is only 2 of you they dont care as obviously they will be making more money off larger parties. This is the second time I have had issues here and its such a shame as the food is devine but I shall not be returning in the future after the last time I felt totally discriminated against about having a disability and the fact because there was only 2 of us we basically couldnt have the larger table with the comfier benches. I suggest if this is what you do to less than 3 people in a party you invest in something more comfier for people with disabilities to sit on. Very lucky I havent reported this business for discrimiation against disabled people.

Following a walk along the beach, we looked for somewhere to have a drink. It wasn’t clear whether dogs were allowed in, but as we pondered outside, a lovely member of staff on her way home stopped to give us some help.

It was a very busy Friday evening, however the staff found us a table near the bar for some drinks. We also ordered a couple of pizzas to share. As we waited for our order, a member of staff came over with a blanked for our dog to lie on, a bowl of water and a treat; we were gob smacked. What amazing service!

The pizzas were amazing; hand made, hot and quality ingredients. My cider, recommended by a member of staff, was also very good.

The bar is lovely and a great place to visit. The staff are excellent. The food and drinks are wonderful. Obviously we will return.
