Untrustworthy staff in workshop
Not the most honest workshop! I was told by an estimator that my front bumper fitted by them had a lifetime guarantee and where one side had become slightly detached (probably a clip or two at the most) they would re-attach it while I waited. The estimator drove my car to the workshop and returned after 10 minutes. He said someone in the workshop had refused to do the job as in his opinion the car had been in an accident and that was the cause of the problem. He also said it was clear that part of the bumper had been repainted. I asked the estimator if he could point to the part of the bumper that was allegedly repainted and he said he couldn't see it. The facts are my bumper has only been painted once, by fix auto when they put it on,and no part of it has been painted since. There is a tiny scratch on the opposite side of the bumper, not caused by a traffic accident and there is no way the impact of such an insignificant scratch could have detached the bumper, assuming it was fitted correctly. The purpose of my visit was actually to get a quote on an unrelated repair, which I no longer want as I don't wish to deal with this company again. A reputable workshop nearby has quoted me on my current issue and offered to re-attach the bumper free of charge. A lesson in customer service!
Edit to reply to Paul. Thanks for your reply, but at no point was I offered bumper re-alignment for a small fee. As I said originally, my bumper,or part of it,has never been painted since your company supplied it.
I have not said your company is dishonest and I was very happy with the original repair,but you have someone dishonest in your workshop. It appears that you have also been misled in this matter as you have repeated the false accusation that my bumper had been partly repainted. I have since had the bumper attached properly free of charge by another company that obviously values customers.My review is truthful and honest.

We sincerely apologise for any frustration or disappointment you experienced during your recent visit to our workshop. We truly value your trust in our services, and we regret any misunderstanding regarding our lifetime guarantee and the assessment of your vehicle’s condition.
To clarify, our lifetime guarantee applies to the paintwork and labour for any work we have carried out on your vehicle. However, this guarantee does not extend to parts, which are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
Regarding your specific concern, our assessment revealed that the bumper area was misaligned below the lamp and at the fixings by the wing. Additionally, the paintwork in that area appeared rough to the touch and had been repainted since our original repair several years ago. Given these factors, the issue falls outside the scope of our warranty.
That said, we did offer to realign the bumper for a small charge to ensure it was properly fitted, but we understand and respect your decision to decline this service. We regret that we couldn’t meet your expectations on this occasion, and we appreciate your feedback.
We do also feel your review is a little out of sync with your experience and kindly request that you amend and remove your accusation that we are a dishonest company.
If you have any further questions or would like to discuss alternative solutions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We remain committed to providing you with the highest level of service.

Great Service and Quality of work
The team at Fix Auto kept us informed of the repair progress. There's only two things that could be improved -
1. Availability of a hire vehicle immediately which could not be provided until the damage was assessed. This led to going through a third company via the insurance company and was quite challenging to arrange a collection date with Fix Auto as we needed a replacement car before our car could be sent in for repair.
2. The recovery person turned up outside the agreed times and had the wrong phone number (assume this was an error in typing the number into his phone). He was unresponsive on the bell so this had to be re-arranged but Fix Auto arranged this immediately.
Those two things aside, the service from Fix Auto was fantastic. They repaired the car ahead of the scheduled date to a high standard and what initially looked like could be written-off was like new again. I was kept informed of the repair schedule, the parts to be repaired and the progress of the repair.

Friendly and Professional
A very friendly and professional team who kept me up to date with the repairs, which was completed in a timely manner. Only negative is, they didn't have a courtesy car available at the time. This would have meant waiting up to 2-3 weeks before having my car fixed. Other than that it was a great service. Thank you!

My car went in for repairs following an accident. The garage repaired it as quickly as possible, and were very accommodating around times for drop off and collection on weekends. They gave regular updates on the progress of the repairs and they were completed to a very high standard. Thank you!

My car went in for repair after a crash .
The garage was excellent. Brought my curtesy car to my home and took mine away, when my car was ready they then brought back to my home.
What really impressed me was regular updates on progress and keeping me in the loop. Such a good service which is fab in this day and age
