After an other body shop had refused to fix my van because it was a special edition model. Ashgrove took the job on with enthusiasm and got to work straight away. Knowing the parts were hard to come by the explained they needed to strip the van first to make sure the correct parts got ordered. They tried endlessly to get the correct parts going to other venders others wouldn’t entertain. Great feed back through out the process. My van came back in better condition than before the accident. Top job.

The whole process was seamless. From the initial viewing of the damage to getting the car back very professional. The staff could not be more helpful and the courtesy car was brand new and no hassle getting. Great service. I would definitely use them again but hopefully not because I have had an accident.

Ashgrove Motor Body Company Ltd Elgin, Vizion Network and Markerstudy have been nothing short of a nightmare. After taking my vehicle in for repair, I was disappointed to find that not only had they failed to complete a satisfactory repair, but they also damaged my vehicle even further. They returned my vehicle in an unroadworthy and dangerous, unsafe condition. This was after they received over £14,600 for this (initial £3000 repair estimate!), which took three months for initial attempt. Nine months later and no further on!
Despite giving them two additional attempts to rectify the issues, they let us down severely, even damage they said they would address (which they did themselves!) they are refusing too standby. Now they refuse to respond to emails and it has been over two months since it was agreed to be rectified!
They failed to carry out the repairs they were responsible for and had promised to undertake. A number of items they failed to record and refuse to take responsibility. This left me with substantial repairs that I had to cover out of my own pocket. The level of customer care, arrogance, ignorance, and incompetence displayed by this centre is astonishing, they just lie constantly. Rectification, Davies engineer told us that all the points we raised were unsatisfactory and would be addressed! Guess what, they just didn't do what they didn't want to! When we went to collect, almost a week later than we were told, were handed the keys and nobody came to go over the repairs. We had to go back into the office, get the manager, who gave us a line of excuses, like waiting for parts, need to order and mid February before could be attended! Everything was just a lie to get rid of us then ignore us. Even managed to fit a tyre with the wrong rotation, that was after fitting a 225/45R19 where it should have been a 255/45R19! Contacted Vizion Network, Vision Vehicles and Markerstudy (our insurers) and the response is just as bad! They are under the illusion their authorised repairers Ashgrove don’t tell lies and are capable!
I would have been much better off missing out the insurance and financing the light/moderate repair myself.
Still waiting for Vizion Vehicles to rectify damage and faults. Ashgrove also don't want to know. Items that were as a result of the accident are still not being addressed. Was promised that if we got an Audi garage to inspect and there were any issues to let you know, this was done directly but still nothing, even discussed. Disgusting! We were made to authorize the repairs and take the funds to pay, all against my wishes! Now we know why!! Customer care! none of them would know the meaning of the phrase!
For anyone who values their vehicle and wants a stress-free and satisfactory repair experience, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Save yourself the frustration and potential danger—take your vehicle to a reliable and professional repair centre.

Good communication, all on time, good work

My experience at Ashfield Motors Elgin was one of efficiency and good service. A courtesy car in immaculate condition was provided. When my vehicle was in the workshop I received regular progress reports regarding the repair. On completion of this work I was pleased to see that the repair was perfect with no evidence at all of an accident. When I picked up my vehicle I noted that it had been washed and cleaned. Overall it was an efficient and pleasant experience with helpful staff.

The whole experience dealing with Ashgrove was first class. Fantastic helpful people. The car damage was extensive when it went in for repair, it came out looking like a new car.

Horrendous experience. They removed my bumper to fit a new headlight. They needed to disconnect the parking sensors at the front in order to get the bumper off. When I collected the car all the audio alarms were going off along with large visual message on the screen advising park sensors not working. So they knew! I returned Immediately to be told I needed to wait 4 weeks before they would look at their own mistake! I'd already waited 3 months to get the repair done. No one in Elgin that I tell this story to can believe they didn't offer to fix their screw up within a few days. You guessed it...they'd left it unplugged. It took a mechanic less than 10 mins to fix it. Have they offered to pay that bill for me? No way. Refused.
Lesson is..if they screw it up for you..you just suck it up and sit and wait until they are good and ready. Don't expect ANY favours.

Demi at front desk was very pleasant polite and chatted away with me, felt at ease, car was fixed in 3 days which I thought was quick and quite apprehensive about how quick it was done but it was perfect and cleaned and washed, fantastic experience from start to finish. Thank you so much

Car looks brand new. New bumper, headlight and few surrounding plastics all restored to Brand NEW parts. Cars looking a lot shinier too so think they might have polished it too. 9:10 review for me, be a 10/10 if didint take 2 weeks but besides that I’m very very impressed

In reply to your comments about my review. Here are some facts. The roof was not broken but the glass chipped/cracked but intact. How an external chip in the glass can damage an interior blind i can't see, but I'm not a motor engineer . The issue with the spares was we were told that the spares were in but when we phoned later in the week we were told you were still waiting on them. Your reply intimates that you got in contact with us that was not the case. In response to the state of the car when we picked it up, the car was blocked in and covered in frost so we had to wait in freezing temp until the car was cleared by that time we just wanted to be away. We have emailed the garage offering to supply pictures or discuss this. Finally the parcel shelf you stated had been delivered to us so we phoned the garage this morning 23/1/24 to be told that it was still there and would be delivered tonight. So what you stated was untrue.
Perhaps if you checked the customers facts instead of being so arrogant as to inferring that Im telling lies this could have been avoided.

The garage were great with communication with updates once they had the vehicle. Work they done on the car was excellent.
