The FES team were very quick to respond back to my 4am emergency call, with technicians getting to work a few hours in mitigating any furthers damage to my property due to an accidental flooding. The team provided very clear guidance on the end-to-end process and were very responsive toward any questions that I had throughout the process. Very friendly and professional.

This company came quickly, but thats all I'm impressed about, was told leave the payment and we'll sort it out with insurance company, well the itemised bill was like a fictional story, they want to charge $20,693 what a crock of you know what.

Immediate response despite the flooding incident being out of hours. Staff were friendly, polite, cheerful and reassuring in a stressful situation. Footprint of the staff and machines was very light with no mess left to attend to after they left.

FES and the team were great to deal with from start to finish.
Daniel ensured that our quote was substantial and helped as we didn’t have insurance. Was over within an hour or two (after 6pm) arrived after hours to set up equipment and helped move furniture.
Then the next morning asked if everything was working okay after set up, then again after 4 days.
Finally after 7 days all floors were completely dry, with no additional cleaning. The original carpet / foundation doesn’t need to repaired at all!! :,)

The team at FES helped our church to deal with moisture issues during the floods of May 2025. Their industrial dehumidifers and floor fans not only dried out our carpets, but also the timber flooring underneath. In the past we have had issues with our floor timbers warping due to high moisture content - but with the dehumidifiers, we noticed that our flooring didn't swell or warp.
It also helped us combat mould issues which was wonderful. It was amazing how much water the dehumidifers collected! They are very powerful machines.

I would like to start by saying that when a house pipe bursts, it’s crucial to invest in proper drying services to prevent mould growth. Without this step, you risk having to replace large parts of your home, which can end up costing far more than professional drying. Choosing FES Services was the best decision we made, they did an outstanding job from start to finish.

In our case, a sink pipe burst in the upstairs bathroom overnight and leaked for over five hours. By the time we discovered it, the water had reached knee level. Bill, the owner of FES, was incredibly kind and understanding over the phone while I was panicking about what to do. He calmly offered advice and helpful recommendations throughout the process. I’d also like to thank his team members, Josiah and Caleb, who were both very professional, friendly, and efficient.

Additionally, Adam, who came to install the fans and dehumidifiers, was wonderful to deal with. He worked quickly, explained the drying process clearly, and was happy to answer all our questions. Within just four days, our home was completely dry and back to safe moisture levels.

Thanks to FES, our family now has dry, safe floors without the risk of mould. I can’t recommend their services highly enough. They truly care about their clients and deliver excellent results.

What an incredible team! We reached out to them on a public holiday in panic, and they arrived in an hour. They immediately got to work, asking all the right questions and patiently answering mine—even the ones that probably didn’t need answering. Their calm and respectful approach really helped put me at ease.
 
They just got right into it – and move anything in the way – they were polite and when they were done, they cleaned and gave me detailed instructions on how long the drying will take and what to expect over the coming days. Highly recommended!!!

This is the most unethical, dishonest company to deal with. Beware they overcharge by placing all their equipment in small rooms to charge maximum over 7 day period. They charge drying cost that could replace my entire flooring and carpet affective. Recommend to not use then at all!

The company was unpleasant to deal with. Refused to give a quote prior to work commencing, not even a ball park figure. Provided a long price list but would not indicate which items applied. On completion of work, they demanded our insurer's details. We asked for an invoice first, but despite emails and phone calls, this took 6 weeks to arrive. Very expensive for a minor job, exaggerated on invoice. Clearly predicated on ripping off insurance companies.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you do get an airtight written contract.
They were very unpleasant to deal with and incredibly expensive.

Would definitely not recommend this company. We had a lot of issues including poor communication, which was aggressive and intimidating at times, high cost (which our insurance company advised was excessive which made things even more difficult) and were not happy with the quality of the work. Overall a very negative experience.

FES deafraud insurances- this is their speciality. This company must be prosecuted by ACCC!

Their Tax Invoices 3-4 times higher than initially agreed upon or reasonably expected.

When you question the invoice-FES engages lawyers to harass you!

Before FES engages with you, they make sure you have an insurance. INSURANCE- this is all they care!

Then they give you a very ambitious Terms and Conditions to sign where the price range per meter is very broad.

If you call them to clarify the price, they will promise you a very minimal cast per meter/ job.

Then they will DRAG the job. They will take 2-3 times longer than required to complete. You would literally kick them out from your property!

Then FES will hit you with Tax Incoice 3-4 times higher than reasonably expected and promised by FES at the start.

On Tax invoice they will threaten you straight away with legal actions should you not pay it on time.

They have no conscience. Defrauding insurances is all they do.

Their lawyers have no conscience too, and they have been instructed to hit you hard ! BE AWARE!

We recently used Flood Emergency Services to dry two rooms in a small apartment. The cost was $4,600. They quoted without seeing the site and then required that we pay half prior to equipment being in place and half once the equipment was in place (prior to operation). This was contrary to the terms and conditions which said we would be invoiced after the work was done. We received an alternate quote from Steamatic of $2,800 but had already approved the FES quote. The work appears to be of reasonable quality but it was very expensive. We also found that the phone numbers on the websites of a number of different flood services redirected to the same mobile number, which made it very hard to get any alternate quotes (particularly given the urgency). I would not recommend using this service.

We recently used Flood Emergency Services (FES) to dry carpets and concrete floors after they were flooded with fresh water. The total cost for plumbing, drying (FES), recarpeting and alternative accommodation for the tenant was $30,000, of which insurance paid us back half. The initial estimate from FES was around 20% of their final invoice. 

FES advised drying the carpets in place, but due to various factors, the drying time and costs were extended considerably. We ended up ripping up the carpets anyway, which we should have done at the start. 

FES advised us to sign up quickly to avoid damage and they would help with the insurance claim, which we did. However our insurers refused to deal with FES directly. My advice would always now be to contact your insurers first prior to signing up with a drying company as well as prior to offering to pay for alternative accommodation. This would have reduced our own costs to only the insurance excess, instead of which we were landed with a big bill. 

We weren't happy with the service from FES, as they underestimated the cost and drying time, and overstated their ability to get insurance to cover the works. But the biggest mistake was not getting approval from the insurance company before agreeing to anything. An expensive lesson to learn.
