Toronto Flower Avis 13

I had a great experience after a nightmare with another florist. I had to cancel the first arrangement at noon and find a new florist for same day delivery by 4pm. I found this company online. I wanted specifically an all green arrangement to honour the life of a dear friends mom who was Irish and who I have loved for over 30yrs. I was nervous after the previous experience. Tania and Olek promised me they would make me happy and they certainly did. There was a bit of back and forth and Olek promised me he would send me a photo of the arrangement before it went out for delivery. He did not, and I was quite nervous but when I saw the photos I was relieved. I did choose the premium version of the original and added even more to it. I wanted it to be really special and it was. The amount of orchids he used was was incredible. My friend said my arrangement was by far the most beautiful one there and the only one she took home. I was not able to attend because I’m in cancer treatment and have no strength right now. I don’t know why they have so many bad reviews. Olek and Tania were fantastic with me and they were delivered just in time. Thank you Olek for restoring my faith. I’m sorry I didn’t believe you when you said I wouldn’t be disappointed. So many things have gone wrong for me lately. You are incredible and Tania was there with me every step of the way. Nobody gaslighted me. When they said they would call me bask in 5min, they called me back in 4min. All
I can say is perhaps someone has something personal against Olek and are trying to hurt his business. I can assure you they were nothing but professional with me. I told him I wanted WOW! I wanted elegant and special. And that’s exactly what he made for me. It was a high end designer arrangement. I used to have friends in the floral business that were very exclusive. Regulars on tv! Maintaining flowers in the homes of the wealthiest people in Toronto kind of florists. They have all retired now. I was used to their very high standards and Olek didn’t disappoint. I will 100% do business with them again. I also want to thank them for their kind words and encouragement about my cancer journey. These are good people. Don’t believe the dramatic reviews. It’s the complete opposite of what inexperienced and I dealt directly with Olek in the design of the arrangement because I wanted it perfect. Much Gratitude Olek and I forgive you for not showing me before they went out. You took a large order from me with only a couple hrs notice so they would arrive by the time the visitation began and they needed to go out or they would have been late and you delivered on your promise. They were even more beautiful then I imagined. Thank you so much. To anyone reading this review don’t hesitate to order from them.

The owner, Olek Zapala borrows money from employees and on top of that does not pay them their salary. He owes so much money to people and when trying to contact him , he ignores them.

Worst ever florist. AVOID!
Flowers came at 6pm and were half wilted and browned. Not even 24 hours later, but now the next morning they are all wilted and some heads have fallen off. I used them because I wanted to use a local company but it's been the worst experience. So disappointing.

Absolutely terrible. I ordered flowers two weeks before Valentine’s Day to find out on Valentine’s Day that they didn’t have the flowers I purchased. I reached out on multiple channels to find out the above info and they promised a refund. It has been three weeks since and still have not received the refund. Unprofessional and unacceptable

The flower was nice a little bit pricey but the issue is the DELIVERY i was waiting whole day for my flowers to arrive and they arrive at NIGHT! if they can just fix the delivery issue i think they will be alright if they dont fix it they can shutdown the store!

Flowers advertised as same-day delivery weren’t delivered until 11:30pm on Valentines Day, when we were in bed after our evening was over.

What’s more, when I explained the situation they didn’t care, and wouldn’t offer anything more than free shipping on my next order. I won’t be utilizing this, and I would encourage anybody who cares about timely delivery or customer service to look elsewhere.

2 stars because the flowers themselves were nice, it’s too bad their management ruins it for them.

I bought a funeral arrangement from Toronto flowers in Etobicoke. Great service, amaizing flowers and very reasonable price.
Dionne exedeed my expectations, she helped me choose the arangement and met my budget. Bad occasion but a great experience , Glad I found my to go florist

This is just another company running a third-world scheme in a first-world country (seems to be a lot of those in Canada sadly). Stay as far away as you can or you'll just risk a blood boiling heart-attack dealing with these shady scammers.

Paid a premium price to have flowers be delivered on May 14th, 2023 for mother's day. When I select May 14th, I mean May 14th, not 15th nor 13th. That's literally the only point of their service, to deliver it on the day they promise! The delivery driver only left to pick up the flowers at 9 PM on the day of... that's right, you read that right! The driver picked up the flowers at 9 PM!!! So the driver was scheduled to arrive at 11 PM! But that didn't even happen... because the driver is delivering OTHER flowers too! It's now 11 PM on the 14th as I'm writing this review and the driver is scheduled to arrive at 12:17 AM on the 15th!! But the driver is still delivering other flowers so for all I know they might arrive at 4 AM or never even show.

All they do in live chat is apologize with no action whatsoever. I called them up and the lady (Eloise) answered and within about 30 seconds (after I told her my order number) and her apologizing, you guessed it, the phone line was cut. I called again, it gets picked up then they hang up, the rest of the calls straight to voicemail!

Their shady delivery policies allow them to do this because they say they have up to 3 times to re-deliver replacement items (they were very happy to point out their delivery policies to me once I mentioned refund) !!! It's such a flabbergasting shady business. I absolutely abhor how there are SO MANY scam businesses that are flourishing in Canada!

Seems like I thought, I'm not the only one dealing with this mess (see Ed's review from 3 hours before mine).

Almost 200 CAD Order placed 3 days before... pass 6 PM paid delivery due date and still nothing and they are filling me with excuses about their new courier which clearly is none of my business. So I had to wish happy mother's day with no flowers!!! Thank you very much!!! I Lesson learned!!! hope it serves someone else..i do not recommend at all. And it was not even a next day delivery. So disappointed

Alexandra Cotes of Flower Co, Etobicoke, ON., gave excellent support and service towards my order of a funeral wreath and a corsage.

Delivery had forgotten the banner and another issue, but Alexa remedied it the very next morning. She was a delight to work with. Very responsible person!

The greatest service of Flower Co is that they do not substitute the flowers. Most other flower people are still blaming Covid to substitute orders with way cheaper flowers. Not Flower Co!
