French that works in real life, with someone who takes the time to understand you. I’m Jérôme, a qualified native French teacher with over ten years of experience. I help adults turn the French they already know into conversations they feel comfortable having. We start with you: your interests, your personality, what you want to express and what holds you back. Through meaningful conversations, thoughtful feedback and support between lessons, we work towards speaking with greater confidence, without needing every sentence to be perfect. Along the way, we explore the culture, everyday expressions and nuances that bring French to life. Through Fluenscape, I offer personalised one-to-one online lessons, French-language mentoring and private immersion experiences in Lille. My book, Learn French Through History, and my online resources extend that same approach: useful French, interesting ideas and the pleasure of making the language your own.

J'adore Jerome ! Jerome is a great tutor for learning French. He is reliable with his schedule. He also helps you progress with learning the language. I have been with Jerome for 22 months and made a lot of progress. Jerome is a part of my life now in terms of education and improving my abilities.
A Wonderful Way to Learn French
I've had the pleasure of studying French with Jerome and have spent a great deal of time using his learning materials. One thing I've always appreciated is how he connects the language to French history and culture. It makes learning much more interesting than simply memorizing grammar rules and vocabulary.
His book, "Learn French Through History", brings that same approach to life. I think it's a wonderful idea to learn not only how to speak a language, but also something about the people and history behind it.
Jerome genuinely cares about teaching, and it shows in his work. I highly recommend him and his materials.
I have found Jerome’s on line French lessons to be the most effective method yet for improving my conversation and fluency. I highly recommend him.
