Happy customer

Used flying Scot numerous times and no issue but we made a mistake with date flying back and flying Scot never charged us the extra day when the had the right to do so, friendly staff and I know my car is safe and looked after , would recommend this company to anyone.

Broken handbrake

My husband and I parked there 3 times in total and we never will again. Every time my husband asked if they can leave the car in gear instead of using the handbrake, they said they always do it anyway , guess what, they don't ! The last time they pulled the handbrake so high with all force that they broke it. It was very late at night and we haven't noticed it was that bad even though it felt very loose. We still had 3 h drive ahead of us and when we got home we parked on the hill and it wasn't holding at all ! I phoned them next day but they said that they cant do anything about it. Do not recommend!

Terrible place

I should have read the reviews before booking with this car park. Left my car for a week to find out mud on the front seats, over the middle console between the seats and small stones stuck under the parking selector preventing it from properly settling into it's nest therefore a fault was on the dashboard. Obviously a staff member had gone to the driver's seat through the passenger door with their muddy shoes. I requested to speak to a manager but was told that the manager was not available and they can only apologise. I insisted to fill out a complain form and I was given a blank sheet of paper then I was told they would give me a call on the next day which never happened. I will never use this place to park up my car again.

Scotlands Number 1 Asian Radio Station.........

I left my car with Flying Scot on 23/09/25 for 1 week. Collected the car mid afternoon, and on my journey home I put the radio on to discover that I was tuned into SCOTLANDS NUMBER 1 ASIAN RADIO STATION. I am not of Asian descent & never knew there was such a radio station. My car was parked about 100 yards from where I dropped it off, so it's difficult to understand how someone would be in my car long enough to change the radio station - who knows, maybe they had a singalong / karaoke in my car, because radio channels don't change themselves !!!!!
I have emailed them twice about this and my emails are being ignored. I will NEVER use them again and suggest others do likewise.

Dropped car off no problem on 5/9/25

Dropped car off no problem on 5/9/25, arrived home this morning at 04.10 am , we got picked up at the airport without any problem.Immediately when we got on the bus after putting our bags up the VERYgrimpy driver said” if that’s drinks in that bag you need to move it’s cos if it breaks the bus will be off the road!” !!!! I really didn’t understand why that would happen !! He was not at all nice.We then collected the keys , asked where the car had been moved to , we were told row 7! So off we went to row 7 with no definite directions of where on row 7, the car was, bearing in mind this is all at 5 am this morning , very dark and wet, 1 of the employees had just moved a car and asked if we had tried to bleep the car ? Of coarse that was the first thing we tried, he then decided we were at fault and said we were rude, I explained since we were picked up at the airport the whole staff had been rude to us, he showed no interest.After now 15 mins going up and down the rows we eventually found the car .Never had any experience like this before , very unhappy with the attitude of the staff .

CAR WAS DAMAGED IN FLYING SCOT CAR PARK…

CAR WAS DAMAGED IN FLYING SCOT CAR PARK while I was in Portugal for a week.
Estimated repair costs £600.
Website states "WE ARE THE ONLY FULLY INSURED CAR PARK AT GLASGOW AIRPORT" - ALL LIES!!
I was asked to fill in "AN INSURANCE COMPANY CONTACT FORM"
NO CONTACT FROM INSURANCE COMPANY.
NO MANAGER RESPONSE TO PHONE CALLS.
NO MANAGER RESPONSE TO LETTER DELIVERED AND SIGNED FOR.
THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN.
Wish i had read the horrendous reviews before booking.
Wish I could award negative stars!

Parked my car for 7 days at Glasgow flying Scot and didn't notice anything until I opened my bonnet and found the coolant resovior cap missing a few days after I picked my car up they obviously stole the cap... they are a bunch of rogues...use at your own pearls

Do not use Glasgow branch.

We used Flying Scot Glasgow recently and were extremely disappointed with both the condition of our car on return and the way our complaint was handled.

When we picked the car up, it was around 3am and still dark, so we didn’t immediately notice any damage. It wasn’t until we got home and needed to put air in one of the tyres that we saw one of our black alloys had been badly kerbed. What’s worse, it looked like someone had tried to cover it up by painting over the damage. My husband washes the car weekly and would have definitely noticed this before we left it – the wheel was in perfect condition when we dropped the car off.

We called Flying Scot to let them know what we’d discovered, but the manager Graham wasn’t interested at all. He didn’t ask for our name, registration number, or booking reference – just completely dismissed our concern without any attempt to investigate or follow up. It’s more the fact that they have made a worse mess trying to cover up the damage the have caused.

Really disappointed with the service and lack of accountability. We won’t be using Flying Scot again and wouldn’t recommend them to others.

Look elsewhere

Drop off was actually ok. I parked car and took keys. Unfortunately our flight home was cancelled and we couldn’t get back until the following day. I rang ahead and informed the staff at the car park. Despite the horrendous journey home, at no fault to us, they charged us £12.50 for late return.

We will not recommend or use again.

We parked on site at Manchester airport and again had a cancelled flight due to the weather. They were totally understanding and did the descent thing of not charging extra. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Arrived back from lanzarote into…

Arrived back from lanzarote into Glasgow and got shuttle back with flying Scot, travelled with my parents my dad 82 years ago+ and 79 year old mother, I went to get my car and noticed right away that something heavy had been dropped on the bonnet as the passenger side of the bonnet was completely dented and metal curled inwards, I noticed straight away as there was a huge gap. I asked the guy walking about the car park what had happened and he then said it was an old dent with gap, I told him this wasn’t the case that it had been absolutely fine when entering their site, I was told by the guy to go to the police if I wasn’t happy, meanwhile this is now 2.30am parents extremely tired after long flight so I took pictures of this and asked when the manager would be in, I called the next day to be told Grahame the manger wasn’t in as he had worked the night shift so i called this next again day and discussed what I had noticed,Grahame then said he had CCTV footage of my car coming in and he can see that it had been there so I asked for the footage to be told no, I then asked if I could come in and view this he again told me no, he advised me to go through my insurance or contact the police which I will be doing, I have used them on and off over the years and nothing has ever happened that I noticed so anyone thinking of booking and leaving their car don’t it will end up causing you undue distress and hassle that you could be doing without I have never met people so unwilling to help they are a complete joke!!!!!

Beware parking here as it's covered in potholes and they take no responsibility for any damages caused

Beware parking here as it's full of huge potholes! We hit one in their car park late at night whilst collecting our car on return from holiday and it ripped our tyre. We were just outside the barrier when we noticed it was flat. Whilst waiting for rescue I phoned them to tell them what had just happened and she said the manager would call me in the morning. Cost us over £200 and we were not home until after 1pm. I sent them photos of the damage but they were uninterested saying their cctv shows us leaving with 4 fully inflated tyres. Avoid at all costs the last thing you need after returning from a wonderful holiday is trying to find your car late at night in a badly lit pothole covered parking facility and paying out more money because of damages due to their negligence and denial. I'm still raging at their lack of customer service and denial of any blame.

Never again

Awful car park if you. Anyone call it that. Just a complete mess of potholes that are given no attention. Place is an absolute mess. Then the shuttle bus arrives and despite us a few others being the only people there, it waits over 20 minutes before moving despite noone turning up. Then on return when we go to parking stance to wait on the bus it's over 30 minutes for the bus to arrive. Had I simply paid a bit more to park on site I could have been home before I even got back to my car on this bus. Then when I do get back I see my car has been moved about 5 spaces along the same row. There is no conceivable reason to do this and I wish I had checked the mileage because I can only assume they wanted a shot or something because why else would the car be moved such a short distance. Zero trust in this place, terrible service and would never use again.

AVOID this dismal place RIP OFF and thievery

when your going on holiday the mood is always meant to be fun....not when you have booked to leave your car with Flying Scot Glasgow!
Extra hidden charges that they pass onto you if you have a 4x4, which fits in same space as a car. £10 extra ...
Put me right off my holiday, i WILL NOT use these again.
cars taxed tested and insured ill find somewhere else and not be paying 50 quid for 2 days parking...you will get no more off me and if i can save anybody else from NOT going here i have done my job.

BEWARE

Well when your going on holiday the mood is always meant to be joyful and fun....not when you have booked to leave your car with Flying Scot Glasgow!

The staff are rude and obnoxious. They like to make the rules up as they go along, stating that your keys must be left whilst you are away. I have used this car parking facility countless times and NEVER have I ever left my keys!

I was told my a member of staff that if I did not leave my keys I could **** off somewhere else, and I would not get a refund. Well their is the zero star customer service right there.

Reluctantly I left my keys, only after being confirmed that all staff who would be driving my car were personally insured to do so.

On my return, I sent a formal complaint via email and had a response from the general manager Graham asking me to call. I duly did, and was faced with the truth that the staff who moved my car were NOT personally insured to drive my car and that it is a blanket public liability insurance (basic at best). So not only was I verbally abused by a member of staff, they have also LIED. The manager was very dismissive and clearly not interest!

If you want peace of mind your car is safe and being looked after whilst on holiday, avoid this mob like the plague!

Don’t recommend.

We weren’t told that keys would be handed in. Quite possible in tiny writing. I have a blue badge which they knew so I parked my car right at the door in a space. When we got back the guy at desk pointed and said behind bus row 5. At the very end of row 5 ten min walk in pitch black in potholes. Car seat controls etc right forward I think prob one of their kids parked it. Only saving grace was the bus driver who helped with bags but didn’t speak. Never again. Amateurs.

Had chosen this place to keep my car…

Had chosen this place to keep my car until I returned from holiday. The girl who dealt with me was extremely lovely and accommodating however the problem rose with the driver , who had dark hair and was short in height holding a lunch bag. This rude and arrogant driver had boxed me in and I couldn’t exit the space. The lovely girl who dealt with me had asked the driver to move his van out the way so I could then exit . He was rude and nasty and used vulgar language when he addressed this young lady. If this was my business no way would I be pleased by the way the drivers were talking to staff that keep the place running so smoothly. Please if the manager reads this sort your drivers out !! They dont run the place so keep them in line !!!!

Be careful with Flying Scot and their t&cs.

In the small print on the confirmation email after booking car parking in Glasgow for 2 weeks abroad they say keys for the car must be left when dropping the car. My Tesla opens and runs from my phone although there is a card which functions as a key.
I turned up without a card at 4 am and was told I could not leave my car. I offered to give the code from my phone to one of the staff. “Not possible, next please!” I asked if I could park the car well away from the reception area where it would not need to be moved. “Not possible!” I then where else I could park since this must be a regular occurrence with modern cars. I was given a phone number and managed to book there on the spot and no keys were required.
While on holiday I asked Flying Scot for a refund. “No! It’s in the t&cs”.
So they got almost £100 from me, made no attempt to explain (apart from insurance risk,) which apparently does not apply to other car parks.
I think that requirement should becatvthectopnof the confirmation and on the website so avoid this situation. A better solution is to get the same insurer as other car parks.
They will never see me again that’s for sure.
