Ordered four marine bluetooth handsets. All were defective. Really un-impressed this company should try an offload non functional electronic equipment at sale prices. Undermines their credibility and demonstrates a lack of integrity. Why offer products for sale that don't work. Whatever the price this is rip off.

I purchased a sionyx aurora from this shop. It arrived in a visibly opened inner box (no damage in transit), the unit inside had no wrapping, looked visibly used including a tick layer of dust and dirt (and i mean A LOT).
I contacted the customer service (not without problems, as they were only reachable by phone and never replied to any of the several emails i sent) and they arranged a free return, which indeed wasted lots of my time. I then got a new replacement, this time in its unopened box and new condition. I must say a really bad experience with this shop as in decades of online purchases it never occurred to me to be sent used tatty products over new sealed ones.
Also, it looks they used a shared customer service company, which deals with returns of many shops, probably to save money, so when you call "their" customer service, it is actually a third oarty company that possibly has no physical link with force 4 itself, so it already starts as a very detached way of contacting the company "directly".
Having said this, they delivered the replacement unit, so something must have worked at the very end.

The telephone staff, one in particular, was so so rude, unhelpful insulted and belittled me. When they sent goods to wrong address and I had paid for express service. HOWEVER when I complained and spoke to a manager she immediately sorted out the issue, and put everything right by refunding postage and resending item to the correct address. She was understanding and apologetic. Overall a very satisfactory ending but I will never shop with them again. The product was great, and I was very satisfied with it.

Stocks are low but really nice to deal with

My experience with Force 4 has always been good but when I was after buying an outboard engine and the distribution centre was out of stock, the service from the shop at Chichester was excellent. They had the engine I wanted and went out of their way to get it to me even though they don't deliver directly. Well do to them for their customer service. Thanks

Item ordered was defective and a replacement was arranged and scheduled to be shipped. On day of shipment item didn't arrive and when contacted was informed it had mistakenly sold to another customer and was now on back order.

This wasn't a small item £200+ or had to opted for refund and 2 weeks of wasted time in the height of the summer.

Poor experience and would definitely think twice before choosing to order from Force 4 especially for more expensive items! I my experience not very organised and sometimes difficult to contact.

Bought a garmin striker 4 vivid and the protective screen cover that came up in the recomended accessories for the item on the Webpage.

When it arrived the protective screen cover was clearly for one if the smaller screen versions of the garmin striker range becuase it barely covered the lcd screen on mine let alone clipped over the whole unit like it should.

Emailed 2/06/21 to ask for a reply
Received a reply 9/06/21 (7 days!?) Asking for photos!? The have my order its simple enough to check what they actually sent me and its quite obvious the screen is too small, nit sure what sending a photo will prove but Im done with this lot.

Make your own mind up but customer service is not a strength in my experience. Ironically they send an email looking for your opinion after a transaction 🤯

Well I just phoned them up to ask for advice about what dinghy to purchase and was told all they could suggest was look at the website! Not a company I'd like to use if this is their level of expertise about what they sell.

I have ordered online twice from Force4, but really didn't enjoy the process (for example - the website invites you to ring individual shops to track down stock, and to then find that certain shops don't post items out).

From an online shopping experience, my gut feel now is to try them last. This is because I have found it a painful experience to use the website and on 3 occasions to date I have given up and spent my money with other online chandlery stores.

I am sure when shopping face to face it is everything it should be.

Excellent customer service. Had to return an item and replacement arrived the next day. Ordered a 3mx3m tarp' to cover an old shed for the winter. Seems a good product...the test will be if it survives the Manchester rain!

Excellent service by Force 4 and Royal Mail. Twice in the last few weeks, I have ordered items by 1100 on Monday and received them by 1100 Tuesday over 200 miles away in the North of England. Less than a 24hr delivery and I had only paid the standard rate.

I like the fact that they still do a catalogue as that makes it much easier to identify items that you know what they look like, but do not know the exact name (eg sail guard wheel).

I required information on clothing and deck paint, the staff at Shamrock and the young lady at the online centre could not have been more help

Online order:first it was sent to the wrong adress, it was redirected in time thankfully but then when it came was missing one of my items and when I called they said they would send it when it was in stock. They seemed compleatly bamboozled by the fact that as a ccer I had no adress asking 'where do you keep your boat?' When I had already explained we are ccers you would think a chandlery would know what that means.
the man I spoke to acted as though it was my fault that they sent it to the wrong adress and my fault they hadn't sent me what I ordered or told me it was out of stock and of course now my fault I didn't have an adress for him to post it to. An absolute joke that they wouldn't admit they had messed up. CCers should avoid ordering from here.

Great service following DHL delivery issue. I bought a dinghy pump and paid extra for next day delivery. Pump failed to turn up, disappointed. Phone force4 the next day and they had problem tracking parcel on DHL site, parcel had definitely left force4 at correct time. Force4 said they would chase it up and phone back, being honest I did not expect to hear back. 5 mins later they phoned back and explained there had been an issue at DHL and parcel would be delivered later, it arrived as promised. Additional cost if 24hr delivery refunded.
Later found txt from DHL and once their website started working then I could see that everything force4 had said was true. Great service and recovered the situation perfectly.

We recently bought our boat during the Covid lockdown. Having bought from Force 4 before I went to them for almost everything we have needed to get our new boat up to scratch. Despite the issues that the lockdown presented, Force 4 has been efficient, timely and actually you would never know anything was amiss. Well done to everyone at Force 4. Your efforts are really appreciated out here.

Force4 in Plymouth is brilliant and I read with amazement of poor reviews for shops elsewhere. I have bought very many items from the Plymouth shop (and one or two online during lockdown.) On one occasion a product I didn't like was immediately replaced without question. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and have often pointed me towards a cheaper option. If I phone for advice it's always readily available. I can't fault
