The website was comprehensive yet still easy to use. I was able to find some excellent information about my family members who served in the military. Thank you for providing this excellent service.

I was just renewing my account and I think your company is great. I found everything easy.
I know I haven't used it much, but, will be in the future.

Found records for some of my ancestors though be aware it is difficult to be certain of anything without a service number. Cancellation of auto renewal was easier than I expected after having reading other reviews, there is an option to turn off auto renew.

Information available here adds to that found elsewhere and helps to build a data base which validates information form varying sources, giving confidence that the history seen is correct.

Although it can be hard to determin whether a record belongs to an ancestor if you have a lack of information, it is easy to search for the records you need, especially if you have the correct infomation/

always informative, easy to read clear and understanding, and send relevant email when required

I have no record of signing up to this site but they are taking money from my bank every month. I sent an email complaining but had no reply.
Update - I have now received a message indicating that my membership(?) will not auto renew and will end on 12 December for which I am thankful. I still do not know how I was 'recruited'!

So easy to find out what my ancesters did during their service.

Forces war records is unbelievably complete, if your searching any documents to help you build your family tree this is the place

Having signed up to Forces war records I’m appalled at how difficult it has been made to unsubscribe. I only wanted a 1 year membership but it has an auto renew with no clear way of unsubscribing on line. This not a good way of doing businesses.

As a member of Forces War Records i frequently use Stockton on tees public library to research and print off information. For about 3 weeks now i have not been able to use the site due to a problem with the sites secrurity certificate. The problem has been recorded by the library and myself but have had no answer. could you please chase up the problem so i can get onto the site and print off information. many thanks

I have not started my journey with you but I can see from various emails you have sent that I should be going on a truly wonderful trip through my ancestry family. Can't wait to discover my past.

Fast response to a problem, Credit to Forces War Records. My complaint was dealt with very quickly and I have been offered a full refund. Previous negative review removed. I look forward to using your site in the future when you have linked original documents to the search results. Thanks to the customer care team for their swift response.

I have not been able to find these previously.

I found some extra details of my later father's service in WW1 where he was captured and later awarded the DCM

Have found a wealth of info about my family members on this site. Very useful site.

I joined Forces War Records. They were able to give me a little more information than I already knew. I wanted to end automatic payments, read the reviews here so thought it would be difficult. Not so. I followed the links and my account was cancelled. I received an email immediately confirming this. I may revisit the site again at another time.

I do not wish to continue my membership and I do not see a way to opt out of being charged for the next monthly membership. I did send an email through Customer Support. I have not received an acknowledgement of my email and hence, confirmation that I will not be charged for another month. Please confirm receipt of my email and confirmation that my membership has been terminated.

Trying again today, 9/18/22, can’t get into sight.

I am no longer interested in continuing with this research . Thank you for your help in the past .
