Rental Agencies need to better than this....
This is a company that rental agencies use to make people liable for the building they live in, which I have no issue with. I have kept renters insurance since I first started renting. This company is supposed to take a look at your policy and issue a waiver of the fee from the complex. This would be great if they actually did it correctly or even just did it at all. They have terrible customer service, they send you broken links through email, and in the end, they tell you if you have an issue with their site, contact your leasing office.
I find it very interesting that my policy ended on January 4th, it was then renewed for the 2026 year. I received an email in December telling me that my new policy has to be uploaded by Jan 4. I do this on January 4th but they also charge me the $12.95 on the 4th (after I have already paid my rent). I get a 3 day vacate notice for this $12.95 that I didn't even know I had to pay. Yet this company says it takes them 1-3 days to process my insurance update. They know exactly how insurance works; you can't get a new policy until the old one has ended if you are staying with the same company. I want my money back!
