On visiting this delightful hardware…
On visiting this delightful hardware store today I was overcome with something I can only recall as youthful joy, you see I normally deal with a sprightly young fellow called Jack, he’s always very helpful and knowledgeable and I have enjoyed his service and bonhomie, but today something happened, from the staircase of secrets where items of stock are produced as if by magic, from that staircase stepped Jo, I stumbled to talk her beauty froze me dumb and I could not place my order, time stood still and the blossom on the trees continued to fall,Jo waited to enquire what I needed but I couldn’t speak, she told Jack to deal with the eejit at the counter and swooped upstairs, Jack served me but I was in a Tizz, The eejit Jo was referring to was me
I fear my relationship with Jack is over as Jo has at least mentioned me, I will definitely be back to this store but Jack is history

Ah, the tangled web of Franchi store romance! 🛠️❤️
Jack, your trusty guide through the aisles of Franchi store DIY dreams. His knowledge, like a well-oiled hinge, has held your handy heart together. But lo and behold, from the Staircase of Secrets, where WD-40 is brewed and duct tape is spun, descends Jo—a vision in safety goggles and a tool belt.
Her beauty, sharper than a freshly honed chisel, left you tongue-tied. The blossom falling around you? Clearly, the universe was sprinkling confetti on this unexpected encounter. Jo, with the grace of a spirit level bubble finding true plumb, waited for your order. But alas, your vocal cords were as rusty as an old hinge.
Fear not, dear customer! Your relationship with Jack might be hanging by a frayed extension cord, but Jo has at least acknowledged your existence. Perhaps she’ll recommend a door closer or two next time you’re in. As for Jack, he’s now just a wrench in the works of your heart.
So, onward you shall march, back to the store, where the smell of team spirit and the hum of power tools will remind you of this fateful day. Jack may be history, but Jo? She’s the nut and bolt of your hardware store dreams.

Franchi Locks and Tools. Stay as you are.
I have been shopping at Franchi, mainly the Holloway Road branch, for 30 years or so and I keep going back because I have always been well looked after by the staff. They are invariably helpful and easy to talk to about any particular problems I may bring to them, technical and/or supply.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Franchi to anyone because my experience there has always been good.

Franchi Holloway Road, very helpful and knowledgeable
I went into the Franchi store on Holloway Road after visiting B & Q nearby. I was looking for some picture fixings and the staff at B&Q couldn't seem to work it out. I decided to go to Franchi's where I spoke to Joe who was very helpful and knowledgeable, asked questions about what I needed them for. Small businesses seem much more clued up than the big corporates and I will always use Franchi's for my DIY queries in future. Very friendly and helpful service.

First class service and range of quality stock
Went in this morning to buy cupboard door handles. Michael was most helpful explaining the sizes, alternatives and ordering process. The standard of service, vast choice of merchandise, expertise and courteousness is something from days gone by.
I think that this is the only store that I have been a consistent customer of since I can remember.

My most recent experience was the total overhaul of 90 year old locks for a project I’m doing over here in Israel. Michael the manager, had the patience to take all 5 of them apart, overhaul them, made one key fit them all. Now they look and work as good as new.
Thank you for my 50 years of total customer satisfaction!

Camera to Lawn Mower
Had a look in shop after getting leaflet through door.Went to look at cameras ended buying a lawn mower and a raker still not used yet .Jack served me and helped carry the two boxes back to car in side road .Mower works a treat

Key Cutting Service
Second time this week getting keys cut on behalf of my employer, as always, Michael was polite and courteous (even at 8:00am on a Saturday morning!). Couldn’t recommend Franchi’s (and Michael) any higher! All the staff at the Holloway Branch are always helpful and polite.

Phenomenal service!
Was served just over a week ago by a chap who was quite helpful, didn't get his name but another customer referred to him as "Jack the Hat". Great service from him although I'd definitely recommend him to get a different haircut! Got a lovely pair of big door knobs. Thank you Jack the Hat! (if that’s really your name).
