Photos ok, website dreadful. Really cumbersome and complex user journey from the 1980s. Requires immense patience if you want to buy more than 1 x photo and the upsell at check out is irritating

AVOID very bad service paid for school…
AVOID very bad service paid for school photos what not arrived under the 3 weeks even charge me for online download without any information and notification.
Ordered a 'whole year group' photo in…
Ordered a 'whole year group' photo in 12 x 5" for £15 and regretted it as soon as it arrived. Faces are so small that you can barely make out who is who. Fraser agreed to replace it with the next size up and charge me the difference, but I was put off when I saw that the next size up is £33 which is too expensive. I don't think that they should sell whole year group shots (there are 4 classes in our year group so it's a big group) in the 12 x 5" at all, it's not fit for purpose.
Price/Quality
Received today my daughter's class picture. The quality of the picture was, no "fault" on that, but to pay £14 for the picture and to get it in a cardboard frame that's really a rip off. It didn't give me the option to buy the picture as a digital version, which I prefer. Rubish. A shame that the school is using them. 😒
Massive rip off
Massive rip off, terrible website experience, questionable quality.
The website barely works, terrible photos
The website barely works. I have never seen as bad a photo of my son as the ones taken by them, its terrible.
The price for this bad service is so expensive.
Poor Value for Money
Considering the cost of these photos Fraser make no effort to ensure the child is readable presentable. Hair all over the place, tie skew whiff, jumper hanging off one shoulder. For such an extortionate photo price, more effort at making the subject presentable should be made. Card frames for the photos are rubbish quality, probably costing Fraser 30p at most to bulk buy, yet cost the customer 10 times that.
Shamefully bad
For some reason the school of my child keeps using the same company, if anything they must read the reviews online.
Photos are continually bad, they don't seem to give even a try to tell a child something as simple as "Your collar is askew, please straighten it" - the pictures like they grabbed the children in playground and just snapped pictures. Children being children, they don't pay much attention to how their clothes will look in a photo, and at least trying to correct basic mistakes must be a part of any decent pro photographer's job.
What's worse is the horrible choices they give to print photos -- it's impossible to pick a decent choice like 5"x7" single portrait -- if you need a single photo you need to pick at least 10x8” or ridiculous choices such as "ONE 7x5”, TWO 5x3.5” AND FOUR 3.5x2.5”. Who needs that many copies of a child in an untidy school uniform is beyond me.
it's a shame the way they conduct business - they may say that small single photos don't give them a decent profit but I find it hard to believe as they are photographing a whole school at once and their photos should not take more than a minute each at that poor quality.
Such a bad photo
Such a bad photo, there's nothing professional about this, I'm embarrassed for the "photographer". Such a weird pose as well, even the Victorians looked more natural than this in photos and they took pictures of the dead. I'll take a photo myself on my phone and will spend the £30 I save on getting decent prints.
Dreadful quality - company blamed the weather!
We'd over 5 school photos from this supplier. Our view had always been they were not as good as the previous supplier. However, the most recent photo was blurry. When we raised the quality with the company they said it was the weather that was to blame. One director said 'Our photographers are all trained to handle various lighting conditions. However, outdoor shoots can present challenges due to changing weather, which is beyond our control. ' This is in 2024 where cameras can adapt to lighting conditions. We were offered a refund, despite having explained that this was the last school photograph our daughter would have and in contravention of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 regarding a replacement. I was really unimpressed, as a repeat customer, with Mark Fraser's tone. I would advise avoiding this company, not only because of the quality of photographs, but also the after care.
Useless website
The website does not work most of the times so even if I’d want to order a photo it would be impossible. Also the prices are ridiculous!
Overall: buy the prints not the candids
Overall: buy the overpriced prints if you can but the digital candids are not worth the money.
Although the prints are excellent, they were expensive. However, the reasonably priced download, which seems like a bargin for those not able to afford the prints, were awful. The recruits were blurred and platoon shots distant, with the only 'good' photographs being of the dignitaries and officials overseeing the event. I don't know about other families, but I was hoping to see my own recruit in one or two of the images, not clear officials and blurred faces which may or may not be them.
absolute rip off
absolute rip off - charged me £20 to download a <1mb sized image of my child (one can easily take 2mb images on any modern smartphone). these people take advantage of schools and parents. beware!
Overpriced and crap website
The photos of our children are done very well, but the prices are insane.
For 3 photos, 1 for us and 1 for each grandparent for each of our 3 children is almost £100!
The website is bloody awful too, with all the money made from the prints please invest wisely.
Overpriced average service
I just think the prices are extortionate capitalising on a parents wish to have family photos. It seems like a bit of a Racket for something that should be a cherished timeline.. the classic school photo seems to be yet another thing to cash in on and crow bar the parents wallet even further. Overpriced for average service.
lies about free delivery
unfortunately, I do not decide what photographer my children's school uses.
They've been very unprofessional 2 years in a row.
they give you a date by which you can order with free delivery (via school) but the system doesn't work properly and try to charge you delivery anyway.
when you reach out to them, they either blame you for not respecting the deadline (lie lie lie) or they just apologise for the "glitch" but do nothing to sort it out.
The best I've got from them is a phone number, but when you call, the agents have absolute no interest in helping you.
Do not recommend for school photos
My boy just started school. Was hoping for a really nice picture to commemorate his first year in reception and also to send a copy to my folks in Australia. But no, they managed to get the boy who cannot not smile to not only not be smiling in the picture but to have this creepy expression that i have never seen on my son before. And then i called to see surely there would be a few more options to choose from but no. Sure enough the photographer only took 1 single photo and thought a non smiling creepy expression was good enough. Such a massive shame and what worries me is that if the school always uses the same company i may never get a good picture, even for next year again. Surely you tell a 4 year old to smile and say cheese and they will smile. It's not that hard. Poor photographer, terrible picture and poor company.
Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service, they don't care about the customers, just about their profit! The overpriced leavers jumper I have ordered for my 11 years old( in size 12-13 and he is one of the shortest children from his classroom)is so small he can't wear it. The manager would not replace it or refund money. He didn't care about finding the solution. Be careful parents when ordering personalised items from this company
