Great quality bike
Great quality bike, our daughter rides it with ease. Lighter weight really makes a big difference. Worth the money.
Frog fixed bike for FREE even tho' out out of warranty
My son bought a 14 inch wheel from bike for his 5 year old daughter just over two years ago but the rear wheel seemed a bit stiff to rotate. My son took the axle apart and lost a few bits, bought a new rear wheel but could not remove the rear wheel chain cog so left it in the garage for a year. I phoned Frog Factory in Staines (Gareth, who advised that we should have contacted them when the fault was discovered. Althought just out of warranty, Gareth advised they would extend the warranty and to take the bike to a Frog dealer and they would repair and Frog would pay. This was done and FROG deserve a pat on the back for super genuine service.

Superb bike and customer service
Bought daughter a replacement Frog Bike, which she loved. Bit pricey I thought but worth it for the transition.
She loved it suffice to say.
Had a problem with one of the mudguards being malshaped. But contacting Frog, they were just brilliant and human about it.
The customer service experience with Becky is the stuff which feels increasingly rare: a knowledgable human at the end of the line who listened, diagnosed and resolved with sending replacement parts.
Won't hesitate next time I need to buy a bike. These guys are great and the bikes are fun and trustworthy.
Please don't change or economise in the meantime, Frog powers that be!

Great product, but very poor set up
We have used Frog before for my son’s first pedal bike. Quality product which lasts.
Unfortunately, having ordered a Frog 53 it is incredibly disappointing to me to offer such a well made bike with such a poor approach to setting up the bike.
The printed instructions to setup the main part of the bike (handlebars, pedals etc) are OK though the pictures and descriptions are poor. The online guide is useless and doesn’t match the bike. After 20 minutes or so, you will be done.
However, the instructions on how to setup mudguards, reflectors etc are woefully inadequate. The company’s excuse are that these are extras but they’re not - they come with the bike and should be pre-fitted. Instead the instructions are online and completely unintelligible. There are additional tools you will need. There are parts included in the box that seem to have no purpose. Pictures don’t make things any clearer and descriptions are incomplete.
After 90+ minutes I had just about got the mudguards attached to the bike though with multiple washers and screws still inexplicably left over. Thankfully the bike frame was not scratched in the process though the rear mudguard was scratched (through following the poor guide).
Sadly the initial experience tarnishes the quality of the product and the brand. Given kids are using the bike, Frog are putting safety at risk by not pre-fitting all parts of the bike and worse by then not providing clear, simple instructions and videos to compete the job properly.
Please sort this out as you’ve been given this feedback numerous times now.

I strongly urge you to take it out of the box and assemble first!!
Having already been stressed out by the inefficient and rude service from the Courier service (APC to name and shame) I implore anyone giving this bike to a child on Christmas Day or Birthday or any occasion when they just want to get on it and ride is to take it out of the box and assemble it before the big day. The 15 minute set up time is deceptive. If you are provided mud-guards (in our case Frog 53) then you will need extra time and extra tools and extra patience. Being instructed to remove the brake assembly and remove wheels to fit them to my mind is unacceptable and dangerous and ridiculous for a brand new bike. Similarly it is clear that the fittings have been upgraded and / or changed but the instructions via the QR code have not been. You will need extra tools. I have one washer missing which is truly frustrating but my local hardware store came to the rescue but I now have nine spares. There is no doubt in my mind that these should be factory fitted. On the whole the quality of the bike looks to be very good. I will ask my Granddaughter to write the next review based on her satisfaction and experience.

Lovely little bike, but for small issues
A lovely bike and great company overall , but some niggles: the L+R stickers on the pedals were the wrong way round which caused some confusion, and the brake pads are set very close to the tyres so that the friction made pedalling difficult for a 4 year old

As a Grandad I paid for the rather lovely Frog bike for my Grandson aged 3 years 11 months who just passed his pedal bike test. However I have been informed that some guy with a white beard ,dressed in a Red suit who lives up North won’t be delivering it until the 25th December 🤔. I’ll review it properly then.

Excellent bikes and lovely people
We picked my 5-year-old's first geared bike up from the factory near Pontypool and everyone we met was incredibly friendly and helpful. The bike is perfect and is clearly built to last, so we look forward to many years of fun and transport on it. Thank you so much to everyone at Frog Bikes!

Front forks seized after 6 months - kids bike
After buying an expensive mountain bike for an excited 10 year old, the front forks have seized after just 6 month's of light use (to and from school - not dusty rocky trails!). Frog have refused the repair saying the forks should be stripped and serviced every 6 months at a cost of £117 each time by stripping the forks off the bike and sending to a repairer. Not practical or helpful. Hope someone else finds this experience useful when considering whether to buy.

Great quality of build and finish …
I’ve built many road bikes over the years and have a good all round experience of the quality of components and finishes. I was very impressed with the high quality of the paint finish and the build quality. Particularly liked the twin green spokes to match the green decals. A classy touch. My grandson loved the bike

Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. I got their mountain bike Frog 72. The front fork developed a fault. I contacted probably 20 bike services and none wanted to take on the repair, saying they only service main brands like RockShox. A new fork from Frog costs £280. I will never buy a Frog bike again.

Excellent Bike and Customer Service

Not only were they reasonabily priced but, when the front fork I wanted was only available with slight chips in the paint, the customer team called to ask if I wanted to get a different version or they offered me a discount.
I cannot reccomend Frogbikes enough.
