Best quality hats and best customer service

Well, first of all - the hat that I ordered (Ladies Black Leather Rabbit Fur Trapper Hat) from this website has just exceeded all my expectations! It's of highest quality! Super comfortable! So versatile- you can put ears up when not too cold, or snap them down around your face for extra protection and warmth when it's extremely cold and windy. The quality of genuine leather and rabbit fur is incredible! The color of fur is so beautiful. I can't believe I bought this hat for such an affordable price!!

Second of all - their customer service is top notch! They are so friendly and helpful! I needed to return another order- another hat that didn't work out for me - and they guided me through this process with such kindness and attention.
From now on - I'm gonna be their regular customer!

I'm so happy I found this company/brand/shop! Thank you guys! You're the best!

Worth every penny

Fur Hat World offered quite a variety of headgear and I was able to find exactly what I wanted. The photo & description were so accurate - though admittedly I was a bit skeptical - this headband is perfection. They shipped it within two days and even from Winnipeg, delivery was less than a week.
I could not recommend this company more strongly.

I spent time arguing with your customer service representative via email and they would not budge till I left this review and the one on your website (who knows if its been published or not as you guys moderate your own reviews lol). Since they told me they wouldn't accept the replacement, and not only did they not mention there is a 45 day warranty period. I was flat out told no there isn't, and funny enough my tear was within the 45 days. I do not appreciate being lied to. None the less I have taken these slippers to a leather repair shop that stitched it for me because I was told NO it wont be taken back due to sanitary reasons. Now you guys are willing to take it back and assess them but before it was a hazardous issue due to sanitation for you guys to take them back based on our CS.

Sorry my review is not changing too little, too late. I am not sitting in the middle of winter with no slippers that I already took to a repair place to get restitched. So unless you guys are willing to refund me the item, my review will stand as is. I will not be freezing here for a month while I wait for a new pair to be re-sent especially since I already took out the time to get them repaired, and waste my time arguing with your CS. (Also your CS mentioned, that due to holiday season, it may take longer for it to process as you guys have to get them back first, only then will you send new ones and issue me a refund on a partially prepaid label that I have to pay for?!!?!) Please get better customer service and provide your customers with real answers instead of beating around the bush till they actually post reviews about you.

Item ripped within dozen of wears and within 40 days of purchasing it. Not impressed.

Upon a quick google, as usually shoes/work boots have product defect manufacturing, specially specialty items like "FUR" or "SAFETY SHOES" I stumbled on this.

"1 Year Product Guarantee
This item may be returned for replacement or credit if found defective in any way. We guarantee this product's workmanship and material quality for one year from the date of purchase, assuming normal use. Please contact our Customer Care center for questions regarding product guarantee."

Just go on google and google "Fur hat world product guarantee" and you will see the first link, as well as AI saying that is their services.

All I got when I contacted CS is that they unfortunately can not honour any warranty and its outside their 30 days return time. Will not be purchasing again or recommending anybody to use this platform.

You are correct that a few years ago our warranty policy was different. However, it has since been updated to cover 45 days from the date of purchase, as we unfortunately encountered cases where products were being misused and then claimed under warranty long after extended wear.

Lousy Customer Service

I've been waiting 4 weeks for an exchange. Customer service is stalling and refusing to process the exchange. When I pressed the last rep for answers, the conversation went south. This was my 4th purchase with FHW, and this sort of treatment is exactly how a company loses return customers.

Unless incidents like this are extremely common for your company, you should have been able to identify which order had the issue. From the beginning, you failed to address the problem and chose to ignore it instead.

Second, you mentioned that your company operates multiple manufacturing facilities and stated this “clearly.” This is concerning, especially considering that you previously confirmed via email that your products never use fur from China—yet the product label clearly states otherwise. Your representative even assured me that the item was not from there. To claim you were clear about this is misleading.

Third, regarding the refund: as I explained, I followed up numerous times seeking clarification, but you ignored my emails until I contacted my credit card company. Only then did you respond and ask for the item to be returned. Fortunately, the refund has already been processed back to my card, because based on this experience, I would not have trusted that you would refund me even if I returned the products.

Your return policy is clear, but the fault lies entirely with you for misleading your customer from the start. Yet you still expect the customer to pay return shipping and a restocking fee after your deception? Truly unbelievable. The most funny part is that you don't even know what you sent out as you even sent the wrong size to me while your paperwork stated other size.

Love the slippers!

I’m really happy with them, the material is so soft and has a really smooth, comfy, cozy texture. As soon as I put them on, my feet feel warm and comfortable, but not sweaty or overheated. They fit nicely and stay on well when I walk around, and they’re perfect for wearing at home, especially on colder days. LOVE IT!

Ridiculous way to do business

I ordered a sweater three weeks ago that never came and they charged my card the same day. Searching through my emails, they sent me the most ridiculous policy. They want a screenshot of my Visa account with their charge showing. I’ve never seen such an insane way to do business

Never buy from this company

Do not buy from this company — extremely dishonest and misleading.
They assured me that none of their fur products come from China, yet two out of the three items I ordered clearly stated China as the fur origin. I emailed them about this discrepancy and received no response. It wasn’t until I filed a dispute with my credit card company that they finally reached out — not to apologize, but to ask me to return the products.

Even then, they wanted to charge me a restocking fee, which I absolutely refused. After a lot of back and forth, they finally agreed to accept the return without the fee. But to this day, they have never explained why they lied about the origin of their products, and they continue to ignore any emails or communication attempts.

Terrible customer service and shady business practices — stay far away.

Great experience after 2 purchases

Fur hat world..

First review on this site and I am not at at all happy with Fur Hat World.
Ordered online and within two days received an urgent email saying that I needed to provide the following.
"We need to receive a screenshot of your credit card/ bank statement with our transaction, this includes:
1. Credit card/ bank name and logo
2. Transaction/ reference #
3. Our store name
4.Posted date
5. Same exact amount in USD/ CAD only
6. The charge should be an actual charge and should not show pending charge.

I have sent numerous email in response including proof of purchase from my Thai bank account. All of the info they are requesting is not possible for me to provide. This is my latest response. They seem to have given up responding to me but still have my money.
Received email response with order cancelled and money refunded. Atleast they responded and cancelled my order. I will await to see the funds back in my account.

Edit 2/26/25: I am now giving two stars instead of just one after FHW ignored our primary concern in their response below but did reverse their prior decision to allow for an exchange, albeit after wasting hours of our time.

I still don't feel comfortable shopping here, but if you're confident your purchase won't have any issues, I won't fault you for rolling the dice.

Original Review:
I've ordered before from Fur Hat World and been happy with the quality of the items, but beware of the customer service. Are they greedy, dumb, or both? Why can't I exchange a final sale item for the same item one size up? No explanation. Then, we were sent a return label for another item in the same order. After going back and forth in emails and phone calls, we're finally told on the morning of January 15th, their last day to return items ordered around Christmastime, that they would get back to us the next day, January 16th. Guess what they tell us on the 16th? That we're now one day past the cutoff, so don't expect a refund if you use the return label sent to us earlier in the week.

I'm glad I hadn't trusted this outlet with more money, otherwise I might get some ideas instead of leaving it to Karma to make things right.

By the way, identical items are sold for half the price on eBay by highly reviewed sellers. My wife loves a gorgeous fur coat we bought there, fox fur scarves, etc.

Fur Hat World will be on Santa's naughty list come Christmas 2025.
