The one-on-one teaching format works very well for both of my kids (7th and 10th grades). The teachers are knowledgeable, invested and kind. The student body is made up of students with varying reasons for being there and they are all supportive of each other. And what could be better than not having homework to do after they get home?

Fusion Fairfield has been an incredible source of healing and growth for our family—not only academically, but emotionally as well. They truly understand that childhood and education are not one-size-fits-all, and they’ve filled so many of the gaps our children experienced in traditional schools.

The staff is not only highly professional, but also remarkably approachable, compassionate, and inspiring. They make every student feel seen, heard, and valued, consistently bringing out the best in each child.

The entire team—administrators and teachers alike—at the Fairfield location has continually impressed me with their warmth, genuine connection with students, thoughtful feedback, and constant encouragement. Their humor, kindness, and authenticity shine through in every interaction. We are so grateful for the positive impact Fusion Fairfield has had on our children’s lives.

I couldn’t be happier about enrolling our son, a senior, at Fusion Academy. He comes home and wants to talk about all that he has learned that day. I can’t remember him ever doing that before. He had quit music, but has rediscovered it now that he’s at Fusion. He’s having fun learning again! It has an incredible, positive energy and his learning is tailored in a way where for the first time he is really engaged. His teachers are amazing. It’s really nice to see him feeling capable, smart, and this positive sense of who he is. So grateful we found this gem of a school!

My son is learning again. The one-on-one classroom is keeping him engaged and accountable. The fact that his homework is completed during allocated time on campus has lifted a huge weight off of our parenting load at home. He's also been able to make up for lost time by adding extra sessions - 3 x per week instead of 2 - in math.

The change in my son’s stress level around school has improved 100% I wish we would have been able to get him out not the school much sooner than his senior year but so thankful he can finish his school career on a much better note.

My daughter was failing chemistry mid-year and completely overwhelmed. She was not at all keen on the idea of getting help - and honestly - was afraid of looking stupid. Her Fusion tutor (FEMALE!) was wonderful. Patient, supportive, and kind. She created a safe place for my daughter to really learn and ask questions. They developed a great routine and the tutor pre-taught the topics in advance. Daughter ended the year with an A. Can't say enough good things about Fusion and their people!

Fusion in Stamford led by Amanda Sylvester has been incredibly supportive of my daughter. The teachers have gone above and beyond to support her throughout the school year. They have shown great flexibility, and as a result my daughter has excelled in her school work.

My daughter is doing amazing and happy attending and learning for the first time since middle school. She will be finishing up high school in the next school year and is excited to go to college. Thank you Fusion teachers and staff for such a great schooling option.
