Paid extra for my wardrobes to be carried upstairs and built, but they were left downstairs and not assembled. I was told someone would come back to build them but no one has, and I’ve had no updates. To make it worse, I was blocked when trying to contact them. Really disappointed. Keep blocking multiple accounts when I’m trying to contact them bunch of scammers

Went out today just to check out the store that I’d seen a couple of beautiful lounges as soon as my wife and I entered the store straight away gentlemen welcomed us asking if he could help us our shopping experience was the best today Ive never walked into a shop and been given so much help with what I wanted not what he wanted to sell me we bought our beautiful lounges and with everything we needed we also don’t have to do anything they come to us and take our old one away we will be buying a king size bed from them in a couple of weeks I’m so excited and amazed at the attention that we got thank you Aniket Aryal for your help best service ever from Nicole and Sonia cheers

Their furniture doesn't last and they don't care

I ordered furniture for a rented flat from Fusion Furniture three and a half years ago and the dining room chairs have broken and are completely unusable. The company are not remotely interested and don't seem to think that it's unreasonable for their furniture to have such a short life. I will not be ordering from them again and if you want furniture that lasts I suggest you don't either.

Didn't deliver. Didn't refund.

Ordered a bookcase late October 2023. It was never delivered and they became uncontactable. They sent one email saying they were having problems and they would contact existing customers to give us the option to cancel but this didn't happen. At the end of January I asked my bank to use Chargeback which at least they don't appear to have disputed. Avoid!

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE

If only id checked on Trustpilot before ordering a table that never came! Worst company ive ever ordered from. Never received the goods, never answer the phone to you, everything done by emails which y9ou don't get. repsonse from, apart from one from a Matthew Taylor and another from April England. 2 months of chasing and I'm still out of pocket. The last correspondence Sid it would be best for me to contact my bank to get my money back!

Beware! It seems that the person who runs this company also trades as Oak Furniture House and Oxford Furniture Company. None of these companies appears currently to be delivering any goods to people who have paid upfront. They don’t answer the phone and send only automated email responses. Company House carries information which may be useful to check

Fusion knows how to take care of their customers!!!

I bought a beautiful section couch from Rooms To Go and bought the extended warranty from Fortegra. They wouldn't cover anything, after explaining the reasoning in buying the extended warranty (I have a special needs child at home that is incontinent when she has a seizure), Fortegra wouldn't help out and my couch was ruined at under a year old. I decided to reach out to Fusion, the manufactor myself as there was that issue along with a few small seams that were splitting to see if I could purchase new cushions instead of throwing away my new couch. I emailed and Anita Douell is who replied back. She was amazing and helped me get everything I needed for my couch along with I didn't pay for a thing. Seriously, such a blessing. I have been dealing with Fortegra and Rooms to Go for months, thinking I was just going to take my couch to the dump and I am still paying on it. I am so happy, I just got all of my cushions and today I will be putting it all back together again and can use it, it's been over a year since we've been able to sit on my couch. So thankful for your help and generosity, this has been a huge stress lifted off of me and we will be able to enjoy it at Christmas!!! I was so tired of watching TV in bed, lol.

You been warned

We purchase a sofa and chair and we were told it’s made in America and the company would do everything they could to make us happy. That has not been the case. The store is telling us they don’t expect any response before 15 weeks. Our purchase was the biggest mistake we’ve made. Please do not make the same mistakes as us.

I believe this store operates scams

I believe this store operates scams. I made an order and never got an order confirmation. Weeks later and several emails later I got a refund. The refund was then, a few days later, cancelled. I believe the goal is that I first forgot the order, and then didn't notice that the refund was cancelled. I consider this fraudulent, or at the very least, extremely poor business management.

Cannot get to speak to anyone

I was looking to buy a pergola costing over £2k but wanted to see it before I buy. As Abingdon is just over 40 miles from me I have tried calling several times but you just go through to answering service who are pretending to be "on reception" so can't answer the question. They can't answer any questions and on Bank Holiday Monday couldn't even tell us if the store was open or not as we would have driven down if we knew it was open.

Fantastic service!

Great customer service from placing the order to delivery. Many thanks to Ambika and to the two happy delivery guys who took great pride in putting the furniture together. I definitely would you use this company again and highly recommend them.

I ordered a furniture cover from Fusion…

I ordered a furniture cover from Fusion Furniture. There was an issue with the delivery. This was not due to anything Fusion Furniture did but they went out of their way to help me resolve it. Very happy to recommend and would use again. Thank you Fusion Furniture.

Garden furniture

Ordered garden furniture on 1st June. It was listed as in stock so I even got a 15% discount. Was a little worried as I didn’t hear anything from them. I’ve been let down before buying garden furniture elsewhere, so thought this was going to happen again. I’d decided to give them til the end of this week (2 weeks since order) to hear from them but when I got home it had been delivered. No call or message. Fortunately, someone was home so it wasn’t a problem. Got to say, the furniture is fabulous quality and not a flat pack in sight. Just ready to enjoy! They did what they promised and delivered promptly. Very happy - just in time for the heatwave too! (Better communication and it would be five star).

Chris and Martin were absolutely…

Chris and Martin were absolutely wonderful. Got the job done quick and efficiently. Very friendly and helpful. Had a lovely chat with them and a cuppa. Had to tip them for there amazing work!!. Well done lads.

The furniture was amazing and very well priced we have had No issues with any accept the odd mark on mirrors which was easily removed! 100% recommended especially if new to moving!

Extremely unhappy and will be looking to take this further if not resolved by this Thursday. (updated on 16/01/22)

**** UPDATE as per 16/01/22: after I had launched a serious complaint, meaning to implement every word I said (see below), the company finally reacted swiftly and took action. They leased with the delivery company, which no longer took on new assignments due to cutting too close to Christmas. Fusion Furniture put pressure on their delivery partner, resulting in me timely receiving the first two items from my order meant to be delivered before Christmas. For that, I will add another star. I shall upgrade it to four stars as soon as I receive the large bookcase which was promised to arrive sometime after Christmas due to unforeseen problems with the stock. Of course, this is subject to Fusion Furniture taking on board previous mistakes: being proactive in chasing the rest of my order with the supplier and leasing with and keeping me updated regularly on the development and expected delivery times. I hope not to chase my bookcase for the remainder of this year.

**** Original review from December 2021: Dear Team at Oak Furniture Store, also known as Fusion Furniture. I am highly dissatisfied with the service I am receiving from your company. What should have been an easy purchase of the furniture more than a month before the Christmas cut-off date has turned into a horrible example of customer service. 

I have been chasing my furniture since the 17th of November. Mind you that ALL three items had the status of "available in 2 weeks". I knew that the large bookcase would be delivered after Christmas and made my peace with it. However, you continuously reassured me and promised me that the other two items would be delivered on time. Three weeks ago you told me that the coffee table and small bookcase had arrived in your warehouse. Last week I spoke with the wonderful lady who said that my furniture WILL be delivered before Christmas.

Today I have received an email from the courier who, upon my phone call, told me that my items would be delivered the first week of January. How is this possible when you explicitly promised to deliver BEFORE Christmas. 

This is an important detail because the UK Consumer Rights state the following: "Any information is given or promises made to you about the service that helps you decide whether to buy or to make any further decisions about the service must be upheld by the trader". My decision to purchase your goods was based on the availability status ( 2 weeks as per the beginning of November). All other retailers with similar products had them out of stock. Yes, I am talking about a breach of consumer rights. 

You have been messing me around for a month now. You have fed me lies all this time. So far, you have failed to deliver minimal customer service. I needed furniture in time for Christmas. I am forced to sit in an empty room. You have messed me about until the point that I cannot order anything else from another retailer as it is too late into the month. 

I believe we have now moved beyond generic apologies. The only way the Oak Furniture Store (aka Fusion Furniture) can rectify this situation is by finding another express courier that WILL deliver my goods in time for Christmas. I am extremely unhappy and will seek help from Trading Standards if this appalling situation is not resolved by Thursday. I do not want to hear any more apologies and excuses. I expect to receive my goods before Christmas as advertised at the time of purchase and promised on five different occasions upon phoning your customer service to chase my goods.

I am very pleased with my online purchase - the furniture quality is fantastic and very competitive. The delivery was on time which is very impressive during Covid shut down and was a 2 man delivery. I highly recommend this company and will certainly be using this company again. Thanks

Order early

The Good : absolutely thrilled with our Maze rattan garden sofa, it looks fabulous and I feel we paid a fair price for it given the current worldwide shortage of garden furniture.
The Bad: delivery time, we ordered beginning of March and the furniture was finally delivered mid August which brings me on to
The Ugly: as said in other reviews communication is dreadful, I dislike companies that fail to act until they get complaints. Hopefully with all these reviews saying pretty much the same thing they will give the staff training to be proactive not reactive.
That said after I complained I was contacted by Anuuj, I think it’s his company, who was then my point of call and couldn’t have been more helpful. Would I order from them again, yes I would, the furniture is top quality which is what matters at the end of the day, just allow plenty of time for it to be delivered, don’t go by dates on the website, give them a ring for realistic timescales.
