AVOID GADGET REFURB - IT'S THEIR SECOND WEBSITE TO SCAM. HAVE THE EXACT SAME WRITING

Edit: they removed both websites, make sure you dispute with klarna for money back or with your bank. So sad there's so many scummy people out there!!

I ordered the phone on 30/01/23 and…

I ordered the phone on 30/01/23 and paid the amonut in full. I haven't received anything. I called them, emailed them without any response from then.
I checked Gadfurb on-line which showed that there is none availble.
It means that the company has gone into adminstration.
Now the difficulty is how to get refunded.

Unfortunately a Scam.

Ordered on 30th Jan, repeated promises of despatching and still haven't received anything. Pleasant on the phone at first but now ignoring all calls and messages. Klarna now dealing with it. Do not fall for it - the good reviews on here are all fake.

Scammers

I ordered the phone on January 19 and still haven't received it. After sending a request for canceled and refund, my number was blocked on whats up and I didn't get an email response. The rest was exactly the same as everyone else. We will send soon, we will send tomorrow, problem with the courier company etc.

Please do not use this company

Waited well over a month for a phone and now can’t contact the company via WhatsApp or landline. Have escalated the issue with Klarna but genuinely concerned I have lost a substantial amount of money.

WASTE OF TIME! Scam

I had waited over a month for my iPhone and every time I contacted customer service I would be told it will be dispatched but every time they would make excuses and change the date. Steph, who was the customer service team is completely useless as she would not know why it hasn’t been dispatched and has no idea what’s going on with the order. I ended up cancelling n got my money back from this scam company.

Opend your eyes and be careful of those scammer

So again. Like what i expected. They are a SCAMMER. I ordered a phone on 15th jan. And like othere stories you will read hear. Its the same thing.
You pay
Delay
Contact them. They ll tell you there is a problem with dispatch.
Give you fake royal mail tracker
Tell you to wait
Wait
And wait again and again
If you want to cancel thats mean they will not answer youe massages and block you nomber
And what you will do is nothing,,
SCAMMERS
So if you ll believe all of those high rates. Then take the risk and enjoy your money wast.
Again they are SCAMMERS

AVOID AVOID. ITS A SCAM!

ITS A SCAM!! The positive comments are all fake, account made recently. It’s the same in other social platforms like Reddit, they’ve obviously wrote it themselves. Order still hasn’t arrived, ordered on January 25 with zero updates from them. The customer service is horrendous and give you the run around. I don’t know what I was thinking ordering with a company that has 12 day shipping, what a joke. They don’t have time to ship orders but yet they have time to continuously change and update there website. Inconsistent pricing, it changes everyday along with the website.

Stick to legitimate websites that have next day deliveries, like mozillion and back market.

Would not order again

My experience with Gadfurb has been quite bad, I ordered on 15/01 and my order was “dispatched” on the 31/01 - the tracking never worked and even to this day doesn’t work. I was told that royal mail had some issues processing sent orders due to their cyber attack, but my order had been dispatched. So I called Royal Mail and they told me that the order number had only been generated, but nothing had been paid for or even dispatched. I went back to Gadfurb who then told me they had a problem in their dispatch department and my order was one of them. This was 3 weeks after I ordered, no one from Gadfurb reached out to notify me of any delays at any point; I asked to cancel my order and it’s been a week and I’m still waiting for my cancellation to be processed. This order is still on my Klarna account 4 weeks later, with no order received.

Overall this has been a long waste of time for me, and I ended up ordering elsewhere.

Although the delivery was a touch longer than expected i did receive my order which was definitely a 5 star refurbished phone. Came with the original Apple box and all the cables too. I did reach out to them after i received my order to give feedback regarding the delivery issue and they mentioned this is getting resolved soon and will be speeding up the process of the phone checks before sending out in future.

For those who are hasty look at there FAQ section it helps understand why it takes so long.

Great experience

Great experience. Some issues with Royal Mail outside of Gadfurbs control but comms was great throughout.

Great product fantastic service

I was blown over by how pristine the product was when sent and how efficient and communicative gadfurb were throughout the purchase. All plus with the fact that it was the cheapest deal on the market by a long stretch. Amazing.

Still haven't received my order

Still haven't received my order. No response from this scam company. Please don't waste your money and time on these thieves! Most of these reviews are definitely fake.

Was supposed to be sent out last Monday 30th January. It's been 1.5 weeks since then and still hasn't arrived. I ordered almost a month ago and still no sign. They told me it was with royal mail 24 hours. Well I don't think royal mail would keep a package for 1.5 weeks. Don't order from these SCAMMERS!!!
