The Galleries have recently resorted to hiring gangs of parking wardens tasked with finding any reason to hand out £100 fines to unsuspecting patrons to raise revenue. I spotted one literally crouching behind cars stalking their prey.

Be warned if you must visit this tired old wreck of a shopping centre.

They are now hiring teams of parking wardens to literally hide in all the car parks and fine every customer possible. Over a white line, over 4 hours, not fully in bay, in a loading bay just using a cashpoint momentarily. All of the above will earn you £100 fine within seconds.

You are chasing away your own customers, you plonkers.

The Washington Galleries does NOT care for the handicapped. Management is either hard of hearing or controlled by narcissistic bureaucrats. I have reported countless times to security and management where motorists park in handicapped parking spaces, without a parking permit. It was not the first time, my wife and I waited for over 40 minutes for a space. After reporting it, it seems they want to pass the responsibility to the police. The police stated that Washington Galleries are privately owned and their hands are tied. I hope management starts displaying signs stating that offenders will have their cars towed at the owner's expense. Many of these motorists are in their early 20s and can walk normally, whereas middle-aged people are restricted to walking only a few yards. One other point about the Galleries is the bus station maintenance is disgusting. It is extremely cold in the wintertime time and whoever designed the seating should be strung up by the toenails. Why have stainless steel seats, which take's forever to warm up. It is my suggestion to make the seating in plastic or wood, Management decided to remove some seats and has not been replaced, for what reason does not make any sense. A lot of handicapped shoppers cannot stand for 30 minutes at a time. I hope this message is passed on to someone who cares and starts to make a difference.
