Garden Box Avis 

After careful guidance from garden box I cooked my first whole chicken, salted potatoes, I even cooked our croutons for the salad & apple crumble on our bbq. I was very nervous but Rick talked me through using the temp probe & I have to say I’m a convert. Best chicken I’ve ever had. Best bit clean oven. Win win. 👍

I ordered a cover for my Masterbuilt 560 in April. When I placed the order I was not informed they were out of stock and after 1 month of waiting I contacted Garden Box Ltd to be informed they were waiting on stock bit I should receive it very soon. Fast forward to July still waiting and radio silence from Garden Box Ltd despite 3 emails. Finally I got through on the phone and I received a voicemail from Rick the boss apologising as apparently the covers had been in stock sent out to all those waiting expect me. He told me I would receive in the next few days. As of today 14/08/20 I’ve still not received my cover and when I contacted them again oops they forgot to send it but will put it in the post today.

Shocking contempt for their customers and if I’d known how bad they were I’d have bought from the company who supplied my grill( they didn’t have it in stock when I ordered it)

If I could give 0 I would - placed order in April. It's now August and still no delivery. They do not answer emails and when they do answer the phone you can never get through to the correct department or person. It's always a case of I'll take your details and have someone to call you back which never materialises.

I wish I had read the trust pilot reviews before ordering as I would have stayed well clear. Whilst the prices are competitive the service is shocking. Wish I had paid more for better quality customer care and consideration. They do say you get what you pay for.

Dealing with Garden Box was a miserable and stressful experience.
Despite taking more than £400 from us, Garden Box completely ignored every attempt to communicate with them:
Emails, phone calls, tweets and Facebook messages were met with total silence.
Finally, I had to contact PayPal to help me recover my money.

I hope nobody has to go through what I had to - I still get angry just thinking about the way they treated my family.

Warning - don’t use these guys - I placed an order in April for some garden furniture (£649 worth!) and after them missing delivery dates twice (and now only saying maybe late July!!) I’ve asked for this to be cancelled, but they’re now not responding to any emails or calls. Rick, the manager, will not reply or refund my money so now I’m having to go to the bank for claw back and / or start legal action.
Do not buy online or order goods with them - they do not give accurate information on delivery dates and will happily ignore you if you want help.

DO NOT USE THEM FOR ONLINE ORDERING!

Bad experience no response to non delivery of goods but money taken seemed that goods were not available but still no refund reported to Action Fraud as a scam online retailer Covid cannot be blamed for everything

No communication. No Response from Garden Box. Paid a lot of money for 8 seater dinning set and parts are missing. The courier company Panther Logistics were absolutely shocking, don’t even know if they can find my missing items!
No communication or help from Garden Box. Shocking service.Do not buy unless you want a horrible experience from both companies! Now got “to wait and see” if the courier service from Panther actually can find my items and deliver them a week later!

shocking customer service. extended lead times which are not notified on the website. only when you chase. followed by ignored emails and eventually responses that do not answer the questions asked or look to resolve your issues. steer clear.

Excellent value and great service. Would highly recommend.

Very poor, took payment for an item that was stated as being in stock.
Emailed 5 days later to say that it wasn't actually in stock.
I responded with a suggestion of alternative items.
5 days later, no reply.

Fantastic hidden gem. Since discovering Gardenbox I've been back several times buying in the showroom and online.
When I went in for the first time, I was probably the most irritating customer. In for over an hour and I didn't buy ANYTHING! The whole time Rick was incredibly helpful giving great advice but never pushy.
Eventually I went back and got a good deal on a BBQ. Later I got a great deal on an ex-display outdoor furniture set. I've bought various accessories and sauces from his website too.
The showroom is hard to find but I'm glad I did (although it was purely by accident as I was trying to find Tesco!). Unlike chain centres who dodge tax and don't give a personal service, it's really nice to support an independent business that seems to be trying so hard.
