No Maintenance ? No, High Maintenance, YES!
This love seat was sold as no maintenance, we have had it for around a year, and The Winawood love seat has been anything but
"No Maintenance". It has discoloured and spots have appeared, and despite cleaning it with soap and water, it remains the same.
We have contacted them, and received a pithy response, and we are disappointed. We have included response verbatim and pictures.

"Thanks for the pictures.
The main dirt is getting stuck in the grain effect of the Winawood.
This will happen as dirty over time gets into all nooks and crannies.
It does not need removing and doesn't affect the durability of the product.
If you wish to remove it and scrubbing hasn't worked, I would suggest either pressure washing but not standing to close of this could damage the bench, or sand the main areas with a fine sandpaper.
On some of the images there looks like some grey spots.
I've uncertain as to what these are, as we've not seen this happen before?
My only thought is it's some sort of mould growing on the bench.
I don't think it is the bench material as it doesn't appear to be all over the bench.
Does it seem to be spreading from one of the legs outwards?
We don't recommend using any chemicals on Winawood, so to remove this I would recommend the same options as with the dirt.

Thanks for the feedback Alan, we appreciate you may be frustrated with having to clear the dirt from your bench.
The no maintenance actually refers to the difference between owning a wooden bench, which requires a lot more maintenance to stop it rotting and eventually breaking down completely.
We didn't receive a response to our email, but if you care to we will be happy to continue working with you to try and resolve the dirt issue.
Like we mentioned above this isn't a problem that we've had with any of the other thousands of benches we have sold, and so we're definitely interested in hearing more about it.
