I was pleasantly surprised when I saw an almost immediate response. After some more information to show issue, they immediately offered to refund or replace my shoes. Truly appreciate their help. Love the boots. Highly recommend

I placed an order for two pairs of shoes on March 14, 2026 (about $200), with an advertised turnaround time of four to six weeks. Three weeks later, when I attempted to track my order, the website stated that no order could be found—even though payment cleared my bank on March 16. Customer service did respond but could not explain why my order does not appear in the system or confirm that it is properly queued for fulfillment, which raises real concerns about whether it will be prioritized once inventory is available.
I was told the shoes are in “limited supply,” yet no timeline was provided and no distinction was made between limited inventory and being out of stock. These are not the same, and the ambiguous wording leaves customers without meaningful information. I understand supply chain delays and would be willing to wait with honest, clear communication, but that clarity is missing here—especially given the company’s continued advertising that suggests inventory is readily available. Until order visibility, inventory transparency, and realistic timelines improve, it’s difficult to recommend with confidence.
Very unhappy w/quality of your shoes
I wrote to Gatsby shoes to express my displeasure with the quality of my black Gatsby dress shoes. Specifically, the heal is coming apart between the upper and the sole on both shoes and I brought them to my local cobbler to fix. He looked at them and said that they are much too new to come apart the way they did. They have been glued by the cobbler but he told me that it wouldn't hold. In essence, the shoes have a small window in which I can wear them before they come apart again. While the shoes are 15 months old, I've only worn them approximately 25 times. For a frame of reference, I have been wearing Bostonian and Nunn Bush shoes exclusively for the past 35 years and have never had a pair of shoes come apart in that manner. I have about 6 pairs of shoes in my rotation that are all older (much older) than my Gatsby shoes, and none of them are coming apart. Even though I was told that this is not the norm for your shoes, I was also told there was nothing that could be done due to the fact that I've had them for over 6 months. That's fine, but I do hope the inflexibility was worth losing a customer. I do own 2 other pairs of Gatsby shoes and I told everyone how comfortable they were. I won't be doing that anymore!

We purchased a new pair of Gatsny shoes in December. They did not hold up.
Ordered two pair of black and one pair…
Ordered two pair of black and one pair of brown dress shoes.
The black shoes have separated from their soles and been reglued several times until the tread finally split on one pair and I will wear the second pair until the tread splits.
The brown shoes have held together much better as they are only worn 3 to 4 times
per month.
My emails to Gatsby were succinct in telling me that I was outside their 3-month warranty and should contact a shoe repair shop at my cost.
Wouldn’t buy again.

Nice folks, but substandard shoes. I ordered 2 pair of the exact same shoe, black and brown. Barely wore either, but brown less often. They felt entirely different from day 1. After approx. 12 times wear, the front sole felt off. Whew!

Terrible quality shoes
Terrible quality shoes, never had a worse pair. Ordered two pairs both lasted less than 3 weeks before the upper and sole separated. A total waste of money.

My Gatsby shoes are of terrible quality and started to fall apart after 4 months of moderate walking. Upon removing the insoles, the frame of the shoe is made out of soft rubber and has squashed down as a result!
I just discovered a crack on the bottom of the shoe sole when it was raining outside and my foot got all wet!
I do not recommend this shoe to anyone.

I ordered 2 pair of shoes on 2/13/26 (Order #GTSBY42955). When I inquired about the order status I was informed that while orders are usually processed within 5 days, Spring Festival causes delays. No future delivery estimate information was offered. Your site should make mention of the effect of these holidays on your customer service shipping delays and performance.
