Geeks Callout Avis 303

Had a problem with my computer did not know what to do phoned Geeks Callout and they sorted the computer out replacing the hard drive in my home office. The computer is now working with 100% better speed. thank god I found computer geeks as I was thinking of taking a hammer to the machine!!

Aamir was speedy, efficient, communicative and was able to pinpoint the issue with my non-booting iMac practically immediately. He took it away, fitted a new hard drive, managed to save all the data, and now it works even quicker than it did when new. Really excellent service!

The battery on my laptop broke (I had no idea what the issue was) they came out on the day I called to pick it up and repair it, it was also no problem to collect and then later deliver to a different address. Would definitely use the company again if I have laptop issues

Great job on fixing the laptop from water damage - it’s working well now. However, it took about 3 weeks even though the specified time said 2-5 days. It also cost way more than originally mentioned. Overall a good service though.

Amir and his team were lifesavers.
I gave them a Lenovo laptop which just went out of 5 year warranty. The fan died.
They fixed it once, then when the problem was still not fully resolved, they took it in again and fixed it.
Now anyone can fix a computer, but it's the professionalism and positivity that Amir showed that really shone for me. You feel you have a caring friend and you're not just a customer. These guys really care about their reputation, and not just about being paid. These days, that's rare.

Aamir at Geeks Callout was extremely helpful and supportive in my need for emergency repair to a water logged MacBook Pro. He quickly collected and diagnosed the issue, giving clear instruction to the process and the costs involved. Whilst not cheap to repair, it was an expensive day of accidentally dropping a glass of water all over the keyboard, Aamir and his team were able to get the Mac running and all data saved. You cannot put a cost on that kind of service. The mac was then returned to me shortly after servicing. There were some issues with the battery for which Aamir re-collected the item a week later and was checked again. Thank you. I can highly recommend the service as Aamir keeps you updated with texts and photos every step of the way.

I have to commend Geeks Callout on their service. I rang them on a Saturday afternoon with a massively high temp reading being the issue (I suspected a faulty cooling system).
They picked up my gaming PC within 2-3 hours of the call. On the Monday they told me they were running the tests. On Tuesday they informed me of my issues (there were a few - including a broken cooling system) and gave me choices of whether I wanted them to fix each problem or if I was confident enough to do it myself. After I had decided what I wanted they informed me of the costs and how they would be paid - and told me that I'd receive the machine back on the Thursday.
When the Thursday early afternoon came about they sent me an invoice, which I promptly paid. My machine was returned in around 1-2 hours after I had paid. I tested the machine and My high temps had been fixed - perfect!
In summary, as far a I could tell, they had done a stellar job - all that I had asked for. The expense was quite pricey, but you get what you pay for I guess, which is a prompt, professional service with delivery to and from your home.
Thank you Aamir and your team. I shall use your service again if/when I run into serious problems again.

I contacted GEEKSCALLOUT.CO.UK for a NO FIX, NO FEE repair. They said an engineer would call on 22nd November 2021.
The person who came was NOT from GEEKSCALLOUT but from PC HOSPITAL.
He had no WINDOWS VISTA repair disk and tried to use his WINDOWS 7 driver disk, to no avail.
He created his own VISTA user account, hoping he would have administrator privileges. It made no difference and time was counting down.
I had my VISTA recovery disk that would install a fresh VISTA setup.
At this point I had many weeks of video and graphic files on my partitioned drive that I couldn't backup because the PC HOSPITAL technician had control of the user account.
After 75 minutes he was frantic and decided to perform a new install, that meant I'd lose my video and graphics files.
When the installation was complete the Ethernet Lan drivers were working, together with the Router connection, but no Internet connection. Each time access was denied followed by an error code. He had no idea how to fix this problem.
2 hours had passed and he wanted to leave for two other jobs. I gave him £160 cash and asked for a receipt (this was never sent) to my email address.
The following day I texted him for help. All he would offer were for me to install the IE8 and Mozilla Firefox files. Error, error each time. I texted him to say I'd been CHEATED.
No more responses were given from him or his PC HOSPITAL company. Totally UNPROFESSIONAL!
I phoned the NO FIX, NO FEE GEEKSCALLOUT.CO.UK and told them I'd paid £160 for a failed repair. They would take NO RESPOSIBILITY for this disaster, saying they used outsource companies for their callouts and it was the sole reponsibility of PC HOSPITAL. Totally UNPROFESSIONAL.
I now have to buy a new laptop and start over again. BEWARE THIS COMPANY who charge £80/hour for a standard technician, NOT a knowledgable engineer.

Aamir was super helpful in sorting out my POP / stmp settings. I had several internet related pieces of software and he managed to see where I had left off ( in a mess ) and sort it all out. Four days of me wandering
in the darkness was an hour on the phone to get me
up and working. This is the third time I have used Geeks Callout and cannot recommend them highly enough. I don't want to be stuck into a contract because I am not at that point in my business. However the hourly charge is a fair price for the skills they bring to the table. Stuart

Well when you work from home and you smash your laptop screen it’s a relief to find a company that arranges pick-up repair and return all on the same day. It’s not cheap but when a company delivers you can suck it up. So refreshing and good communication. Highly recommended.

A bit expensive and I could have done with a little more communication, but they got the job done. And I liked the free pick-up and return of my computer from my home. They certainly seem to know what they are doing and, more importantly, I trusted them with my machine.

Had my laptop repaired. Service was good: they picked it up, provided a quote within a day or two and once I'd decided to go ahead, the machine was delivered back quickly.

Superb service. Very helpful, really quick turn around and extremely efficient.
