Bad communication, misleading infpormation on delivery date and none responsive

On June 3rd. 2026, I ordered an engagement ring from Gemcara as their site said I would have the ring by June 12th.
I received a confirmation of the order on June 3rd, but it stated that the ring will arrive between June 12 and 15th.
This was not acceptable to me as I will be flying out to Jamaica on June 15th early morning and so I replied with a message letting them know that if I could not receive the ring by June 13th. the latest, I would like to cancel the order.
I did not get a response from them so I engaged a chat with Hannah on June 5th at which time she said she would check and let me know. I even offered to pay extra as I needed the ring to propose when I get to Jamaica . She said she would definitely get back to me.
I did not hear back from her and just today June 8th. I received an email from Ana stating the following:

Hello Maurice,

Unfortunately it will not be possible to guarantee the delivery for before the 13th. We are truly sorry about this, your order will be delivered between June 12th and 15th.

I have requested they cancel the order and refund me the money as I now have to pay more for another ring on Amazon in order to meet my deadline. I am yet to receive a response confirming cancellation and/or refund.
Bad communication, misleading information on delivery date and none responsive.

No, I was not assisted. From June 3rd, I asked to cancel my order if not going to receive it by the date it originally stated. I have already bought another ring and am only getting engaged to obe person, so keep your ring and return my money please.

My ring didn't leave their facility…

My ring didn't leave their facility until the day it was supposed to be delivered. I still haven't received my order a week after it was supposed to be delivered. I'm starting to think this company is a scam because they are not getting back to me after multiple emails and waiting in the chat and never getting a response.

WOW!!

Wow, this company is amazing! After I made my selection(very hard as everything is just fabulous), the process was seamless. Customer Service was first class. I was kept informed at all times through to successful delivery. The ring is just gorgeous, the level of detail is second to none...it is very obvious that it was handcrafted with great care and precision. I love it and won't take it off now! A huge thank you to all at Gemcara. I can't recommend them highly enough. I will be back, that's for sure!

NOT recommended

I ordered an engagement/promise ring with delivery by April 28th. I had a trip foreign trip planned and planned to propose.

Gemcara did NOT deliver as they stated. The ring hasn't even left their facility as of the 28th. My ring did not arrive and my entire trip and plan was ruined.

They didnt even care and offered an insulting 5% refund.

DO NOT trust their delivery guarantee. They have absolutely ruined a very expensive trip and what was supposed to be an amazing night.

Waste of time and money

$100 ring came in a shitty cardboard box that was completely destroyed and dirty upon arrival. Foam ring insert is bad quality. The necklace I got came with missing diamonds as-well. Attempted to contact customer support just to be met with absolutely nothing all 3 times I tried to get into contact with them.
