Bad communication, misleading infpormation on delivery date and none responsive
On June 3rd. 2026, I ordered an engagement ring from Gemcara as their site said I would have the ring by June 12th.
I received a confirmation of the order on June 3rd, but it stated that the ring will arrive between June 12 and 15th.
This was not acceptable to me as I will be flying out to Jamaica on June 15th early morning and so I replied with a message letting them know that if I could not receive the ring by June 13th. the latest, I would like to cancel the order.
I did not get a response from them so I engaged a chat with Hannah on June 5th at which time she said she would check and let me know. I even offered to pay extra as I needed the ring to propose when I get to Jamaica . She said she would definitely get back to me.
I did not hear back from her and just today June 8th. I received an email from Ana stating the following:

Unfortunately it will not be possible to guarantee the delivery for before the 13th. We are truly sorry about this, your order will be delivered between June 12th and 15th.

I have requested they cancel the order and refund me the money as I now have to pay more for another ring on Amazon in order to meet my deadline. I am yet to receive a response confirming cancellation and/or refund.

No, I was not assisted. From June 3rd, I asked to cancel my order if not going to receive it by the date it originally stated. I have already bought another ring and am only getting engaged to obe person, so keep your ring and return my money please.
