CARDIFF MOVERS LIMITED REVIEW - Plates smashed and 1 mug that belonged to my LATE FATHER!!!.
Cassettes in inch of water had to be thrown, box being left outside in rain. Glass stool cracked, 2 metal side tables scratches, tv screen had marks. Hifi left in rain, water in vents, will not work. Gouges to brown consol unit, broken ornate mirror, the round white plastic globe of lamp that I saw being dropped and bounce like a ball on the van, huge crack and marks. Oily dirty sack badly marking stairs carpet in old house. Van dissappearing and late twice. DO NOT RISK IT! A QUALITY MOVE MUCH BETTER THAN SAVING MONEY! OUTRAGEOUS!

Very reliable and gave options to choose from. I was contacted by about 3 companies and I chose what is best for me.

From start to finish it was a professional, tidy and well organised operation, like a version of Tetris but with furniture.

I received 3 quotations from suitably capable movers. Had to use the most expensive to achieve the date required.

The Driver arrived an hour before the tracker said he would, he was very pleasant and helpful in a difficult situation and made it the best it could have been.

Found me a really good removal company, when I could not find one locally. I was getting stressed but they gave me the solution

Very disappointing experience.

We signed up to the platform expecting clear and transparent pricing. However, during the initial registration process, the charges for individual leads were not clearly highlighted. After activation, we were charged for leads despite not having secured or completed any jobs through the platform.

As a small business, unexpected costs like this are extremely frustrating — especially when no work was carried out and no revenue was generated. When we raised our concerns, the company maintained that the pricing was “clearly stated” and insisted the invoice remained payable, offering only a small goodwill reduction.

We feel the pricing structure could be made much clearer at the outset to avoid situations like this. I would strongly advise other businesses to carefully review all terms and take screenshots before activating their account.

Unfortunately, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this service.

They are thieves!! They steal things from people and cheat! Be careful!!!

Avoid this company and GM-Movers.com (which apparently changed its name to Excellent Removals Ltd) - I strongly advise against them as well as using GM-Movers.com (now Excellent Removals Ltd).
GetAMover seems to be dispatching your details to other removal companies that are not properly vetted. I had the awful experience of being contacted by gm-movers.com through GetAMover.
Everything seemed fine at first, quick responses, and polite communication. But once they collected my items, communication stopped completely for four days. They ignored my emails and calls, and even the platform couldn’t reach them. I reported to the police as well as to Citizen Advice/ Trading Standards.
Later, they claimed my shipment weighed 60 kg more than I had measured but refused to provide proper proof, only sending a short video of a screen showing the weight. They wouldn’t deliver my belongings until I paid an extra £200, leaving me no choice.
Delivery took nearly a month, and when my items finally arrived, the boxes were wet, muddy, and damaged, with some furniture broken.
Their professionalism disappeared after collection, polite before, rude and unhelpful after. They took my belongings hostages until I pay extra money.
Dishonest, unreliable, and not worth the stress. Avoid them. They are a bunch of thieves !
