My wife and I thought the process was slow compared to GM financial. Why is it that GM financial at the dealership got immediate feedback…my 2023 Envision was minutes. GM Mode took weeks.

Providing documents that have to be scanned is impossible for a normal person- we had to pay someone to help us get documents sent , whole process was difficult - couldn’t deal with a human being and was told they still needed more documents even tho they had already been sent several times .

Totally pain in the ass, takes way too long to get it done. I never knew what was going on after you complete a section on the website, it never gave you a follow up email or phone call to let you know status!! There much improvement could be done to make it more user friendly

Should have better communication…
Should have better communication between Getmode and GM financial. GM financial was telling me to return the car or get a lease extension, but I was buying the car though get mode. Employees were nice at GM financial, they just didn’t know where I was in the process of Getmode .

Fairly easy process.
One annoyance is if you have done a buyout before using Mode for another vehicle, you must create a new account using a different email. Having to do this for an additional vehicle buyout is an unnecessary and annoying requirement.

Mode experience
When it comes to computers I do need help when it comes to down loading and sending pdf files, etc. Mode customer service team was there for me to help answer every question I had, no matter how crazy the question was. They were always very friendly and of course most helpful through my whole experience working with them. One happy Customer.
