Dreadful
Dreadful. Unclear that I was doing a subscription. I now have nine tubes of product and they will not receive them back. Don't fall for this. Not worth it.

Beware. Known scam site reported to Wyoming AG consumer dept.
You will be autosubscribed even if you are really careful to uncheck the subscription box - once you choose an item the page will take you straight through to shopify without allowing you to see what it's added back. Look carefully on shopify and you will see, in faded grey small font beneath your total, the words 'recurring payment'. If you click to complete you allow them to present a recurring payment authorisation to Shopify. From that point they can charge any card you have registered with shopify.
They do not respond to requests to stop the subscription or return the goods.
Their registered head office address in Wyoming is confirmed by the Wyoming attorney general - who is investigating - to be a known scam address.
The US business-verify site BBB grades them as F - highly untrustworthy - and lists at least 15 other linked businesses relating to beauty products but also apparent scams.
The UK registered Nuvie was delisted from companies house in Dec 2025.
Note their onsite reviews are entirely false. There is an exposure of them on youtube. Chcek trustpilot also, and BBB.
The only way to stop the subscription is to go into your shopify account and request full data erasures. This erases their repeat authorisation. You are then free to repoen your shopify account and use it again without being charged by them.
I gave only 1 star to be able to proceed with review. It is a scam company. Without my authorization, I was automatically signed up for monthly subscription. It was very difficult to cancel charges despite I called every day. This is very ineffective mask with very low quality. Please DO NOT buy this low quality product.
Renewal is automatic, and it’s impossible to get a response from them requesting immediate cancellation, as is suggested on their website.
It's a massive scam!!
Scam. Subscription was on even the box was not ticked. Don’t buy anything here. It is rubbish
I wanted to return the product and was told it was not possible. They have a no refund policy. Their website and sales pitch said 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back. NOT THE CASE!!
Stay away! this is such a scam. promise you can return in 30 days but then they ask you for a reason and a photo, ( and then refuse with no reason).
Also I did not authorise ongoing subscription, but the box was ticked! and they ( and papal ) refuse to acknowledge this.
Plus the product itself is pretty ordinary.
Very clever marketing but absolute rogues
the items is cheap looking and is NOT by the brand NUVIE, although the website uses their logo!
The packages are fabricated in China, cheap looking cardboard, I dont dare to put it onto my skin. Havent opened them so far, as they cannot be returned once opened.
Its a fake NUVIE Brand, that makes money by selling 3 for 1 etc. I paid $50 USD for 3 boxes, when they arrived they did not look like anything on the ad, and didnt have the logo. When I wrote to them they wrote back that they are in the middle of redoing their packaging, and thats why there is no logo.
I requested to return the items, as per ther claim "money back guarantee, no questions asked" but they never provided a return address.
Instead they offered a 30% refund I could keep the items.
I persisted with screenshots from their site, and legal action, and after the third try they offered 50% for which I went, as it seemed clear they would never forward a shipping address OR return 100% of the price.
Plus insured shipping to China is probably $$.
Result: DO NOT GUY THEIR STUFF. ITS OVERPRICED AND FAKE.
SCAM DO NOT PURCHASE
First, the product did not work as advertised and caused a skin allergy/reaction.
Second, I discovered that a PayPal subscription was created without my knowledge or consent.
Scam company who when you write to them to uphold their money back guarantee say they will get back to you and never do. They also set up a PayPal subscription without my authorization. Completely disappointed with PayPal as well, as they offered absolutely no help in getting a refund from this scam company. I would never put anything on my face from a company with such bad ethics. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM EVER!!
Couldn't cancel order..just kept adding item which I didn't want.
All attempts to contact by given email address failed.Customer support failed. Fortunately I had not committed financially.
This site is not legitimate. The product falsely claims to have won multiple awards (i.e. Marie Claire skin awards 2024, which is in direct breach of Australian Consumer Law. There is also a very high risk of unintentional subscription charges via a sneaky "opt out" arrangement. A scam rather than a legitimate skincare brand.
I ordered their Collagen Night Wrapping Mask and it was a scam on all fronts:
1) The layout in their web shop as well as the whole buying process are set up so that you automatically sign up for a subscription and don't even realise it from their confirmation emails. The only way I realised it was from reading reviews here and then checking my account on their website (the reviews were mistakenly listed under "Nuvie" which is a different brand than "Getnuvie").
2) They advertise a "30-Day-Money-Back-Guarantee" but that is only for unopened, undamaged products, which in my case was already void upon arrival where a box had been dented. Also - how can you know if you're satisfied with a product without opening it?
3) The packaging was a weird homemade quality with bad printing and soft cardboard quality - and the product is not even the same visually as advertised (for one, it did not say "Nuvie" on the product which seems very sketchy).
4) The product smells so cheap I don't dare put it on my face.
Dishonest
I bought it once. There was no subscription button in site. Three months later I notice they automatically subscribed me to a monthly charge of $42CAD for one product a month. I had to cancel subscription through Shop as the subscription link on Nuvie website does not load. The product itself did not work like advertised.
I, like many of my fellow reviewers bought one purchase around Christmas time 2025 after being seduced by a meta ad… I was under the impression I had a one time purchase only to be awakened to the reality when three tubes of (rubbish) Collagen Night Face Mask turned up in my post box. I work in product design and manufacture and this is poor poor POOR. I feel swindled. DO NOT DO IT! 😬 learn from my pain😖
Its a scam. Products came from China without any name on the tubes - its blank so I threw it away. Next month they charged my card again!! I never subscribed to it. I have sent them emails but no response.
It’s an absolute scam. There’s some sort of subscription and impossible to get put of. None of their contact details work properly and the links are dead. The product itself is a Chinese manufactured mask and if you have seen their social media advertisement it’s nothing like the advertisement. Does not work and the automatic subscription is impossible to get out of.
Dodgy+++ business practices-Found myself in a subscription trap with a tiny box checked by default allowing them to bill me again for the same product a month after what I thought was a one off purchase- no warnings, nothing on my receipt or by email to tell me this would happen. In spite of contacting customer service within 20 minutes of the transaction and requesting cancellation they merely sent an email telling me I had checked the box (I didnt- the print was so small I could barely read it and I had bought the goods as a one off gift so why would I?) and proceeded to send me them anyway. Closer inspection of their website shows links that go nowhere and claims of awards that- when checking the source- they did not win. I have raised a dispute with paypal and will now see if they will honor their claim of a 30 day money back guarantee when and if the goods actually arrive. Not feeling optimistic. Their website looks good at first glance but scratch the surface and it screams scam. I did manage to cancel my subscription but it took me through about 10 different windows where I had to repeatedly scroll down and hit cancel and I am not confident about that either. Overall terrible experience that has put me off online shopping alltogether.
