GFL obviously don't care about residents
This is not the first time the residents on the other side of our crescent have been overlooked. We are forced to use this oversized bin, and when we complain, they offer a smaller model, but it still takes up the same amount of space in our small garage. It is very difficult to contact GFL, and I believe they do not care about our concerns. I was informed by the previous company, Millar Waste, that GFL underbid them to secure the contract, and now we are stuck with their service.
Seniors like me, in our 80s, are expected to drag this large bin—especially when the wheels are frozen—to the driveway, clear away snow and ice to level it, and then drag it back because someone forgot or simply doesn't care. Additionally, every week, some garbage or recycling falls onto the street and is left there by your drivers. Having worked in customer service for 60 years, I can say that this is not an acceptable way to treat customers.
