I am fascinated by this umbrella, so practical and cool. I never take it out of my bag and as far as i know its upf50 as well so perfect for extreme sun. I take it with me to the beach too its just so good.

Genius design - finally an umbrella i can put in my bag without getting everything wet. Clever design and looks stylish enough to have out on your desk.

Great concept, but very disappointing in reality.

The quality feels poor and quite gimmicky. It honestly feels like a cheap corner shop umbrella in a fancy case rather than a premium product.

At this price point, I expected something far more solid and well made. If it were much cheaper, I wouldn’t mind as much, but for the money there are far better quality umbrellas out there. Not worth it.

I cannot recommend this umbrella enough. As someone who hates umbrellas and especially carrying them around, I am so happily surprised by how amazing the Gilley umbrella is. Not only is it light and convenient to carry around, it withstand gale winds and then it can easily slide it into its handy container. I can go about my business without dripping water everywhere or putting my wet umbrella on the dirty floor. Plus the carabiner clip can be used to hang the umbrella up later to dry. I have recommended Gilley umbrellas to countless people since and sent them your website details! Thank you again for introducing me to such a great umbrella.

Acquired as a gift, look great, robust and just the job

Today was the first time I used the umbrella,the only problem was that I think it should have a place to put a hook on the bottom of the handle so you could hook it on your belt when you’re in side a shop

The umbrella performs great in strong winds, held up particularly during a slight storm. The handle feels ergonomic and the brolly just feels incredibly well made. It is perfect when walking and so easy to put away without any worries of getting everything soaked in my bag :)

Best small umbrella going.

I have used Gilley umbrellas for, I think, almost two years now. I love the portability of the product - it lives in the bottom of my bag until I need it. The case is easy to hold and being able to put a wet umbrella into my bag, using the case, is ideal for getting on the bus. Umbrella withstands typical windstrength too making it more useful during more windy weather.

I can't explain how much of a game changer it is having an umbrella that I can put away in my bag after use without fearing it'll drench everything.

Had a really positive experience so far with Gilley. Met the owners at an event nearby where I live and immediately loved the idea of the umbrellas. I bought two of them. Unfortunately, one of them broke almost immediately. When I reached out to them on instagram about repair, they offered to replace to umbrella without any hesitation and had my umbrella with me in two days.

Beyond the experience of just buying and replacing, I’ve also really enjoyed using the umbrella. People think it’s a tumbler, which is kind of cute. It’s really handy and all my electronics in my backpack are safe even with a wet umbrella inside!

Honestly, it’s by far the best umbrella I’ve ever owned! I came across an article hyping Gilley up last summer while I was on holiday and after checking out the website and instagram thought it was an investment worth making living in the wet UK and commuting. I’ve had countless small umbrellas blow inside out and break, or just be too awkward to carry if they’re too big, and when they’re wet it’s even worse to walk around with so loved the idea of the hard case too! I was NOT disappointed 🥹 a year later and it’s hands-down the best umbrella I’ve had, and I can’t be without it! And with London/UK weather and almost needing an umbrella even when there’s no rain forecast it’s so convenient to carry and use. 10/10 would recommend
