A wee bit of Scotland, wherever you are! Gillian Kyle is an independent Scottish design brand creating colourful, quirky and characterful Scottish gifts, homeware and art. Inspired by Scotland's culture, humour, heritage and much-loved everyday icons, our designs are all about celebrating the things that make Scotland special – with a healthy dose of nostalgia and a cheeky wee twist. Founded by Scottish designer Gillian Kyle, our collection brings together original illustrations, bold colours and playful designs to create gifts and home accessories that are a little bit different. From Scottish mugs, tea towels and tote bags to cushions, coasters, art prints and more, everything starts with Gillian's own unique designs. We're especially well known for our officially licensed Tunnock's and IRN-BRU collections, celebrating two of Scotland's most iconic and much-loved brands. But there's plenty more to discover, with designs inspired by Scottish food, culture, places and traditions. Whether you're looking for a unique Scottish birthday present, a wee housewarming gift, a special Christmas present or a little reminder of home for a Scot living abroad, we hope you'll find something to make you smile. Our Scottish gifts are perfect for proud Scots, Scottish expats, lovers of Scottish culture and anyone who appreciates colourful, original design. We love the idea of our products travelling far and wide, bringing a little bit of Scotland into homes around the world. We're a tiny, two-person family business, and we care deeply about the products we create and the people who buy them. We believe in making lovely things that last, rather than throwaway products destined for landfill. Wherever possible, we work with manufacturers in Scotland and the UK, prioritising quality, thoughtful production and reducing unnecessary waste and packaging. Most importantly, we're absolutely passionate about customer service. As you'll hopefully see from our reviews, we genuinely care about every single customer and always go the extra mile to make shopping with us a lovely experience. From helping you choose the perfect gift to making sure any problems are sorted quickly and fairly, we want everyone who buys from us to feel valued and looked after. Being a small family business means we can offer a truly personal, friendly service, and that's something we're very proud of. Every order means a great deal to us. Whether you're treating yourself, finding the perfect Scottish gift or sending a little piece of home to someone you love, we're delighted you're here. Hi Anne. I'm sorry you were disappointed that the tin doesn't come filled with biscuits.
I'm an independent designer running a very small business of 1.5 people, and unfortunately it's not practical for us to sell the tins with biscuits inside. Doing so would mean handling food products, which brings additional storage, packing and delivery requirements (particularly in warmer weather), as well as significantly increasing the cost of the product.
Instead, we chose to offer the tins empty so customers can fill them with fresh biscuits themselves. This keeps the price much lower and means you can choose your own favourites!
We do make this as clear as we possibly can on the product page - it's mentioned three separate times, including in red at the very top of the page - so I'm sorry this was missed before ordering.
I do hope that once you've filled the tin you'll still enjoy using it for many years to come.

Tunnocks tin - a perfect gift 😁
I was really pleased to stumble upon the amazing range of Tunnocks items on offer. The tin was a perfect father's day gift to which I added a coaster for his cuppa while enjoying a favourite snack.(On receipt, I also filled the tin with 24 milk and dark chocolate caramel wafer biscuits). Dad was thrilled 😁
Super fast delivery too.
Have shared this find and recommended to friends.
