Does NOT contain the chocolate biscuits
I was very excited to open my parcel but absolutely gutted that the biscuit tin did not contain and biscuits .
I went back to the website to check and no there are none , I had wrongly presumed there would be biscuits in the tin considering the price.
I even bought two tins as Xmas gifts
Gutted !

I’m so sorry you were disappointed when your tins arrived, especially as you’d bought them as Christmas gifts.
We do try to make it as clear as we possibly can on our website and in our advertising that our biscuit tins are sold empty and don’t include biscuits. We’d never want anyone to feel misled about what they were buying.
Unfortunately, as a tiny two-person business, we simply don’t have the food storage and handling facilities we’d need to sell biscuits ourselves. There are also lots of practical problems with posting chocolate biscuits safely, not least the risk of them melting in transit.
I completely appreciate your comment about the price too. We know our tins aren’t the cheapest, but they’re not mass-produced supermarket products. Everything we sell starts with my own original artwork and designs, and as a very small independent business we simply don’t have the economies of scale of the big retailers. I know we can sometimes look like a much bigger company online, but there really are just two of us here!
The good news is that the tins are designed to fit Tunnock’s biscuits perfectly and will hold up to 24, so you can absolutely fill them yourself before gifting them. We mention this on the website too, as we think a tin filled with your recipient’s favourites makes a particularly lovely gift.
I completely understand that this wasn’t what you had expected when you ordered, though, and I’m genuinely sorry that it took some of the excitement out of opening your parcel.

I’m getting organised for Christmas - rather early I know, but I have a lot of people to buy for!
My now adult children love Tunnock’s Caramel Wafers and so I ordered these two tins ready to fill with wafers just before Christmas. I know they will love them!

I ordered a 'Perfectly Scottish'…
I ordered a 'Perfectly Scottish' teatowel for a lovely friend's birthday in October. She is Scottish through and through and I know she will love it. I don't know what made her move to Essex though! I will be revisiting the website as I have my eye on the Tunnocks umbrella and I'm sure I'll find something else for her. I was amazed at the speed of delivery, my order came the next day! Perfect Leaving Home Present
I ordered two Tunnocks tins and two mugs to gift to my eldest grandchildren as they leave home to start at university (obviously I have now also bought 48 Tunnocks caramel wafers)

The one tin is wrecked, the box it came in damaged beyond believe which was in a plastic bag with a tie wrap which obviously was added after the damage occurred
