Called to ask if there was any estimation of when a car would be assigned for my 3pm booking i had made to the airport that morning. The young girl on the phone said there's no way of telling. I asked if it was likely to be soon or could it be like an hour away. Her reply was - don't know. When I asked how I was meant to know if it would come in time she told me it wasn't her fault so she wouldn't be able to help, and her attitude was terrible. I said to her I know people have bad days and maybe she was but that i didn't appreciate the zero help. After more attitude I said about speaking to a manager, purely cause she just couldn't be bothered with my existence let alone my cab. Her manager - Audrey - came on the call, didn't let me explain anything and told me that the staff member wasn't rude at all, I advised what happened and she told me it didn't happen, the girl had worked there for months and she never said that. I said 'but if you heard her talking to me you would have heard her say it' she then told me she hadn't heard the call but no one else had complained about her so it hasn't happened. I remained very calm through the full call, very calm, not a slight raised voice and when I was asking Audrey how she would know this is she wasn't listening, was i then lying. Instead of chatting to me like the adult I am, Audrey started saying we all see things in a different perspective, and that I was just trying to intimidate her, so she was ending the call. Considering how calm and normal I was being, nothing about the call was intimidating, and Audrey wanted the call to end as she had no other way out of this, and didn't want to admit her staff, and her, were rude, and that they were in the wrong. I asked for a complaints email before she hung up and she gave me it, saying all complaints went directly to her to review. So there is ZERO independent complaints review process in the company, which is clearly why they act the way they do. I have had so many issues with this company before and didn't complain, but I am sick of them, they are all incredibly rude. Its quite sad to see a company who clearly do this on the regular considering how low their rating on here and other sites is.
Consistent overcharging and appalling customer service
I have used this service many times, but I will not be returning. There is a consistent discrepancy between the app’s estimated fare and the final amount charged. For example, a journey estimated at £5 is frequently billed at £7, even when the driver’s meter clearly shows £5. When I raised this with the drivers, they agreed the company should not be adding these surcharges.
To make matters worse, I called customer care on 18/04/2026 at 5:30 pm to resolve this. Instead of offering an explanation or a refund, the representative told me to "use another service" if I wasn't happy. I will be taking her advice and taking my business elsewhere.

Driver ran several red lights at busy junctions and bumped up driving along part of a pavement. There’s no way he has ever passed a uk driving test. I don’t think he even knew red means stop. Terrifying! Never using again as most of the drivers are likely in the same position.

Driver turned up and kept phoning me then hanging up. Said he was outside 10 minutes but it was 4 minutes between call and us getting in the taxi. Then he told us the estimated cost was a load of rubbish and taxi was 8 pounds more expensive. If my payment details are in the app why did I still need my credit card? Had to use debit card . Never again use this company.
Poor management and communication
I worked for this company and had a very bad experience. The manager Peter was extremely unprofessional and often handled situations in an aggressive and disrespectful manner. Staff were unhelpful and communication was poor. The working environment felt disorganized and disrespectful overall. I would not recommend working here.
No show
My husband booked a taxi on Saturday morning to come early evening. No show. Called and was told they were still trying to assign driver. We ended up missing our table booking and meeting our friends. All was said was ‘Sorry about that pal’ if booking is made in advance should be honoured. Used firm many times previously. Big let down.

I am new to the area and have only used the Glas go cabs once about two weeks ago
then on saturday the 15/03/26 i wake up to three missed calls from the the company
so i ignored it thinking it was a cold caller then i see 50 pounds taken of my card and someone has used my account and paid for three taxi trips on my card now at first i checked and made sure it wasn't any of my friends by accident and it definitely wasn't
so i call customer services and all the lady says is that its my fault as i let someone on my app and i know for a fact i haven't shared my details with any one and she had no care at all just said i need to delete the app there is nothing we can do

or a we will look into this
or any indicator of concern

Glasgow cabs seem to think the have a licence to cheat . Why have the never been questioned in Scottish parliament about the internal operations and who owns it a d how there business is run

I left my phone in the back of one of their cabs, even had find my phone on and could see exactly where it was but apparently they checked and they didn't have it. I literally lost it in their taxi and they lied and stole it. Absolutely awful company, do not use. Ever.

Your app stated that the vehicle would arrive in 3 minutes. Given that I was working to a tight connection for the airport bus, I relied on that representation and chose to book a taxi rather than immediately take the bus into town.
The vehicle did not arrive in 3 minutes. It took almost 10 minutes. That discrepancy is not minor — it is materially misleading when a passenger is making a time-critical decision. As a direct consequence of that delay, I missed the airport bus I had intended to catch.
While I was on the bus into town, your office called me. When I attempted to explain the situation, I was cut off mid-sentence. I was then contacted again and informed that I was being charged.
To summarise:
The arrival time displayed in your app was significantly inaccurate.
I relied on that information to my detriment.
The delay caused me to miss my airport connection.
I was prevented from properly discussing the matter due to being disconnected.
Despite this, I was charged.

Have always use this service but no more. I was out with a few friends playing snooker and as one of our friend is disabled he decided he wanted to go home. You sent the taxi to the wrong location. Then went on to blame us. That ok with me, what is not, is being sworn at by the guy on the other end of the phone. Very amateur. I will now be using ubar.

Pre booked with just over a hour notice, no assigned driver and un-empathetic customer service staff claiming bookings aren’t a guarantee? What’s the point then?
How long does it take to find an available driver and/or at least notify the customer within a reasonable timeframe?!
Eventually had to quickly cancel in a panic and instead book with Uber, paying more, but which showed up practically instantly, though still late to an airport transfer.
I’m especially unhappy with the customer service’s response, so I would no longer recommend, unless time and/or being late is not an issue.

Absolutely crap service and getting worse.
I reserved a taxi 24hrs in advance and added a note to say pick up at 130pm was crucial , so I could catch a train.
They didn’t start looking for a driver until 135pm. I kept calling them and they would say “next car will be yours “.
My train was at 232pm .. taxi never came.
I missed my train. No apology.
They don’t care for their customers at all.

NEVER AGAIN! I do not recommend or do they deserve one star. Female travelling alone and pre-booked. Left standing out in cold for well over 30 mins and ended up having to book an Uber!! First taxi was late and had to call. Second was for an event which I booked and didn’t turn up 30 mins later kept calling and the driver did not answer from the app. Called the office they told me one would be there soon despite being pre booked which you would expect to be at that time, still nothing so eventually called an uber who was there in 4 mins. Absolutely furious ended up late for my event and missed pre drinks. So after that emailed office and asked for a refund guess what - emails bounced back no legitimate business runs like this!

If you need to be anywhere book miles in advance with this company! Late 2 days in a row. Waiting anywhere between 35 minutes to well over an hour is the norm it seems. One driver didn't even give me time to get downstairs before he left and marked me as a no show. Ridiculous service for the amount they charge
Cancellation fees applied when they don't show up
Terrible experience, not for the first time. I was at Glasgow Central but decided to get a taxi instead of waiting 15 mins for next train home, as the app showed '1min pick up'.
Booked it. Took 7 mins to find a driver and when it did, he was 16 mins away - so I'd be as well getting the train. The driver phoned me to say he'd be a while and asked where I was going (how can he not know). I said I couldn't wait 16 mins as I'd already been waiting and thought I could make the train instead. Asked him to cancel as I couldn't wait.
21 mins after I made the booking the app sent a notification that a 'driver had been found' and he was only 8 mins away. So 29 mins in total to get a driver in the city centre.
As I'd already left I assumed it was a mistake, hit cancel and was charged a £5 fee.
Phoned the office, explained the driver had called me and had cancelled the job when I asked. The guy on the phone denied I'd been called. Said I did it and wouldn't acknowledge that I'd spoken to a driver who should have cancelled because he was unable to pick me up in time.
I was told only management could issue a refund and they're only available 9-5 Monday to Friday. I said that's just their policy, it's not like it's impossible to do but he wasn't willing to help.
The bit that's wound me up is his denial a driver called me even though I've got a screenshot of the call log.
It's a scam. They let you book, no one shows up and then they collect a fee for doing nothing. I wouldn't be surprised if the 'driver' who called me to say he was too far away was sitting in the same office.

Pre-booked my ride in advice as had to arrive at the venue by a specific time, and wanted to plan ahead. The booking time passes and they are still assigning a driver, booked with uber and got a ride immediately.
